Work Text:
Minho’s at her desk, staring at a proposal from Jihoon on a new experiment he wants to run with their API integrations, when Jihyo raps on her door.
“You’ve got visitors, Ms Lee,” she says, smiling, and Minho looks up from her work just in time to see Jimin barreling into the room, clutching a bouquet of flowers that’s half as big as she is and a heart-shaped box of chocolates.
“Eomma!” she screeches, with the ever-powerful lungs of a four-year-old, and Minho smiles, coming out from behind her desk to drop to one knee and pull her daughter into a hug, pressing a kiss to Jimin’s hair.
“Hi, Jiminnie,” she says, “what are you doing here?”
“We wanted to surprise you,” Seungmin says, stepping into the room with Minseok in his arms, “Happy Valentine’s Day, noona.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, eomma!” Jimin echoes, and Minho laughs.
Jimin’s already abandoned the flowers and chocolates on the floor, clamouring for Minho to pick her up, and so she does, settling her little girl on her hip before stepping forward to greet her two boys.
She pecks Minseok on the head, smiling at the way he waves his little fists around, babbling, and then she leans in to kiss Seungmin, something warm and sweet.
“You’re a sap,” she informs him, pressing a hand to his cheek, and her husband gives her his best innocent puppy-dog smile.
“Whatever you say."
Minseok’s got something for her too, a cheesy heart-shaped balloon clipped to the back of his overalls, and he reaches out for Minho.
“Eomma,” he manages, insistent, his words still not quite fully formed, and Minho turns to Jimin.
“Jimin-ah, do you want to go say hi to Uncle Channie? He’s just next door.”
Jimin nods.
“Can I show him my drawing?” she asks, twisting around in Minho’s arms to look at Seungmin, and he pats her head.
“It’s in your school bag.”
Minho lets her down, and she gleefully runs over to where Seungmin has set down her bag by Jihyo’s desk, pulling out a sparkly pink folder and heading next door to Chan’s office, her greeting as she barrels into the room high-pitched and probably audible to the entire floor.
Minseok waves at her again, struggling to get out of his father’s arms, and Minho takes him, settling her son against her chest.
Seungmin unclips the balloon from him, tying it to the back of her chair, and then he picks up the flowers and chocolates on the floor, setting them on the desk before he moves closer to Minho, wrapping an arm around her waist.
She turns, kissing his cheek.
“I thought we said no presents for Valentine’s?” she asks, arching a brow, and Seungmin shrugs, his nonchalance fake like the pearls Jimin wears with her favourite princess costume.
“It wasn’t my idea, Jiminnie said we should get you a present,” he says, casual as anything, “apparently her classmates were talking about it in school today.”
“Little pitchers have big ears,” Minho murmurs, and Seungmin smiles.
“Sure they do,” he says, pressing a kiss to her ear, and somehow in the process he slides even closer, the hand around her waist sliding down to rest just at the edge of her tailbone.
She smacks him on the arm.
“Don’t you get any funny ideas,” she grumbles, “we’re in my office, and Minseok is here.”
He’s a far quieter baby than Jimin was at this age, shyer and clingier in comparison to his extroverted older sister, and Minho presses another kiss to the top of his head, smiling when he nuzzles into her neck, tiny fingers clinging to the fabric of her blazer.
Seungmin pouts at her, and she kisses him, because even though he's nearly thirty and even after so many years and two children together, she’s still weak for his puppy dog charm.
“Maybe I’ll see if Hyunjin and Jisung can take the kids this weekend,” he suggests lightly, his hand sliding between her blazer and her shirt, warm even through the cotton,” it’s been a while since we’ve had time to ourselves.”
Minho meets his eyes, and he winks at her, cheesy and flirtatious.
“You’re such a dork,” she says, rolling her eyes, “anyway, if they’re not free, I’m sure Chan-oppa wouldn’t mind.”
“Ah, noona,” Seungmin says, leaning in, “I knew you’d come around.”
Minho smacks him on the arm again.

Hyunjin and Jisung, as it turns out, are more than happy to play loving aunt and uncle for the weekend.
“We’ll bring them to the art museum tomorrow,” Hyunjin says, when they come by to pick up Jimin and Minseok on Saturday afternoon, “there's a special exhibition on Monet especially for children!"
Jisung, currently a general practitioner at a reputable practice in the neighbourhood, doesn't look like he has the faintest idea of what a special exhibition on Monet especially for children entails, but he just nods, taking Jimin's hand, already laden down with duffel bags and stuffed animals.
Minseok is already in Hyunjin's arms, drooling on what Seungmin hopes isn't one of her Prada scarves, and Minho smiles, kissing both their children on the foreheads.
"Be good, okay? Eomma and appa will see you tomorrow."
"Have fun with Auntie Jinnie and Uncle Sung," Seungmin says, leaning down to give Jimin a hug. "See you, aegi-yah."
"Bye eomma, bye appa!" Jimin chirps, "I love you!"
"We love you too," Minho murmurs, and Seungmin gives Minseok a peck on the head, ruffling his hair before they send them off on their way.
Minho watches them until they've loaded up into Jisung's car and driven off, and Seungmin wraps his arm around her waist.
"What are the odds that this will only make Hyunjin's baby fever worse?" Minho asks wryly, and Seungmin laughs.
"Oh, it's guaranteed," he answers, "but I actually think that they'll probably start trying soon - now that Jisung's settled into his practice, I think he's feeling a lot more stable and ready for that kind of responsibility."
Minho hums.
"Well, until then, they can babysit our children," she says, and Seungmin laughs, shifting so that he can hold her hand and tug her back into the house.
"Come on, noona," he says, "we've got plans."

It’s rare that they get time to themselves, to spend with each other, what with two children under the age of five and careers that keep them busy, so Minho thinks it’s nice to get dressed up, to see Seungmin style his hair up artfully over his forehead while clad in a crisp black shirt and grey pants, to be able to put on one of the silky, satin dresses she never gets to wear and put her hair up in a style that’s not the most practical when you’ve got a two-year-old with grabby hands.
Seungmin smiles, when he sees her step out of the bathroom, leaning in to kiss her cheek.
“You look beautiful, noona,” he tells her, and Minho rolls her eyes, even as his words delight her.
She’s forty-one, crow’s feet at the edges of her eyes and stretch marks over her skin, but Seungmin still looks at her like she hung the moon, as affectionate and smitten as always.
“You’re not bad yourself, Kim Seungmin,” she says, and he laughs.
They drive out to a nice restaurant, a little ways out of the city, one with a stunning view of the local lake, and enjoy a meal of traditional Korean fare, hearty and warming and flavourful.
They share some makgeolli, after the meal, and then they go for a walk along the lake, the moon half-full in the sky.
Minho takes the opportunity to slip her hand into Seungmin’s, and she smiles when he squeezes it, his grip firm and warm.
"Is it weird that I miss the babies?" he asks, as they stroll by the water, "I'm so tired and I'm always hoping for a moment of peace, but then when I actually get some time away I miss them so much."
Minho laughs lightly.
"It's not weird," she answers, "I miss them too."
"Still, it's nice that it's just us," Seungmin says, lifting Minho's hand so that he can press a kiss to it, "without little eyes and ears around."
Minho laughs.
Jimin is precious and precocious, excitable and incredibly curious, and Minseok, while quiet, is an observant child, and Minho is certain he understands more than he lets on.
"Why, do you want to do something that's not fit for little eyes and ears?" she asks.
It's a little bit like flirting, and Seungmin moves closer, stepping into her space, slipping his hand around her waist.
"Of course I do," he says, "I'd really like to make love to my wife without having to worry about how loud we're being, you know."
He nips at her neck, hands straying down past her waist, and Minho pulls away.
Seungmin gives her his best pout, and she laughs.
"Down, puppy," she murmurs, her voice heavy with intention, "let's go home first."

It reminds Seungmin of the early days of their relationship, when they stumble into the house haphazardly, wandering hands and heated kisses, shoes and clothes getting discarded in a tangled mess on the floor as they make their way towards the bedroom.
They’ve come far, from their friends-with-benefits situation, from when attraction and sex was all they had holding them together, and it fuels the heat in his belly, as he kisses Minho deeply, sliding the straps of her dress down over her shoulders.
He bangs his knee into the staircase railing, while Minho is trying to get his belt undone, and they both nearly fall onto the stairs.
He’s sure he can hear Soonie yowl in annoyance, the cat probably running off to hide under the kitchen table until they’ve gotten out of the way.
Minho laughs, light and musical.
“The house is a lot bigger now, isn’t it?” she teases, and Seungmin noses at her neck, laughing with her.
"Lucky us."
They make their way to the bedroom, without any further incident, and Seungmin stares unabashed as Minho slips off her dress, watching as she undoes her bra and steps out of her underwear, fully aware of how he's hard in his slacks.
She sits on their bed, bare, and she leans back to look at him.
"You're overdressed," she murmurs, and Seungmin nearly falls over himself in his haste to get naked, because -
They're married now, they have a life together, but he still can't believe she gave him the time of day all those years ago, and she's just as beautiful as she was back then.
She's not as untouchable as she was, back then, and he joins her on the bed. She climbs into his lap, kissing him deeply even as her hands wander, and he returns the favour, skimming over the lines of her body and the curves of her, over the silvery stretch marks on her belly and the uneven tan lines on her back from their last vacation.
"What do you want, Seungmin?" she asks, when they part, combing her fingers through his hair, and he kisses her throat, scraping his teeth over skin.
"I wanna fuck you, noona," he says, "can I?"
Minho leans in, and she kisses him again, slow and warm and heated.
"Of course," she murmurs, and Seungmin lays her back against their pillows.
It's heady, after that, as he opens her up with his fingers, her moans of pleasure ringing in his ears as she twists her fingers in the sheets.
She drags him up to kiss him again, and it takes all his willpower not to come when she rolls a condom over his cock, when she climbs on top of him and sinks down on him.
Her pussy is tight and wet, and he mouths at her jaw, kissing down her neck until he finds her collarbone, sucking a bruise into her skin.
Minho kisses his cheek, digging her nails into his shoulders as she rolls her hips.
"You feel so good in me, puppy," she tells him, riding him slow and deep, and he kisses her messily.
“You feel so good around me, noona,” he murmurs in return, and she grinds down on him, her mouth on his skin hot and hungry.
There’s no room for words after that, the two of them chasing pleasure, moaning into each other’s mouths, leaving bruises on skin, uninhibited and raw.
“Fuck, I’m gonna come,” he manages, against her throat, and Minho hums.
“Come for me then, Seungmin,” she murmurs, sultry and low, and he tumbles over the edge.
He takes a moment to get his bearings, and then he flips them over, removing the filled condom and tying it off, setting it aside before he settles between Minho’s thighs and buries his face in her pussy.
“Seungmin!”
Minho’s hands find his hair, her fingers pulling hard, and Seungmin leans into it, leans into the taste of her, eating her out hot and hungry until she comes against his mouth.
She collapses back against the pillows, and Seungmin rests his head on her thigh, staring up at her with a love and adoration that’s reflected in her eyes.
He turns his head, kissing the soft skin of her inner thigh.
“Round two in a bit?” he asks, and she laughs, a little breathless.
“Sure,” she says, indulgent and fond, “why not.”

It’s Sunday night, and the children are back home after their weekend with Auntie Hyunjin and Uncle Jisung, one that had apparently involved a visit to the park, McDonald's, and a trip to the museum. Seungmin’s off giving Minseok a bath, because two-year-olds and spaghetti sauce are a terrible combination, and the TV is on, playing some Australian children’s cartoon that Chan recommended.
Jimin clambers up onto the sofa, abandoning her train set in favour of tucking herself up against Minho’s side, and Minho lifts her arm so that Jimin can snuggle closer.
“Eomma?”
“Yes, Jiminnie?”
Jimin blinks at her with wide eyes.
“What happened to your neck?”
Minho swears, in her head, because she’d forgotten about the bruises Seungmin had left on her, hadn’t realised that her shirt collar had slipped enough to expose the love bite under her collarbone, and now she’s got a four-year-old asking inconvenient questions.
“Mummy had a little accident last night, baby,” she says, “don’t worry about it.”
Jimin puffs up her cheeks.
“I’m not a baby, eomma, Seokkie’s the baby.”
Minho laughs softly, leaning down to press her face into Jimin’s hair.
“Whatever you say, aegi-yah.”
She looks up, and Seungmin’s standing in the doorway, Minseok cradled in his arms.
“You and Seok-ah will always be eomma and appa’s babies,” Minho adds, tickling Jimin, and Jimin shrieks, her laughter loud and bright.
“Eomma!”
Seungmin watches them, his smile genuine and warm as he holds their son close, and Minho’s heart is full in a way she never thought she would ever have.
