Lin made her way to their bedroom after getting home from a long shift. She rolled her neck to loose the stiffness that came from being bent over paperwork all day. It had been an early morning with a call out about the Terra Triads, and then she was stuck doing paperwork all day long while Mako handled the interviews.
“Linny, is that you?” A voice rang out from the attached bathroom as she made her way into the bedroom.
“Who else would it be?” Lin quipped with an amused roll of her eyes. She quickly bent her uniform off and hung it in the extra dresser they had in the room just for her work gear.
The door to the bathroom opened up and Lin turned to see Kya lean against the doorway. “Long day?”
“Hmm.” Lin hummed in agreement as she bent her metal boots off, sighing in relief. “Paperwork is not my idea of fun.”
“I’m going to get into the shower. Want to help me out?” Kya said, her azure eyes drifting down Lin’s body, unbeknownst to the earthbender.
Lin quirked an eyebrow at her partner over her shoulder. “You are a waterbender, how can I help you?”
“Maybe I want help washing my back.” Kya added with a wink.
“Is it the pipes? I can check-”
“Lin shut up and get your cute butt in the shower with me.” Kya said, interrupting her lover. ‘And she called herself a detective?’ Kya snickered in her head. When she saw that Lin was about to speak again, she decided to make it more obvious what she wanted. She dropped the towel that had been wrapped snugly against her.
Lin fell into a stunned silence as she watched Kya drop the towel she hadn’t even noticed that she was wearing. She swallowed at the beautiful sight before her.
Kya smirked. “Now that I have your attention, you have 30 seconds to join me in the shower.” She said, before turning to head into the bathroom again.
It took a moment for Lin’s brain to catch up with what Kya said, having been distracted by her lover's assets. She quickly dashed into the bathroom, fumbling with her clothes as she went. In her rush, she ended up tripping on her pants and with her arms caught with her tank top, she couldn’t stop her fall.
Kya turned at the sound of Lin smacking her head off the counter. “Oh dear.” She drew some water from the tap and quickly made it to Lin’s side. “Are you okay?”
Lin hissed as her freed hand touched her forehead. “Other than my pride, you mean?” She pulled it back and noticed it was red. “I may need you to patch that up.”
“You know, you didn’t need to hurt yourself to get my attention.” Kya teased as she directed the water to Lin’s forehead. “What happened to my normally composed Linny?”
“It’s not my fault that you are so distracting. You were just standing there naked in front of me. It’s all your fault.” Lin huffed, her face flushed pink with embarrassment.
Kya sent the pink tinged water to the sink drain, and raised an eyebrow as she stared down at her green-eyed beauty. “So you don’t want to join me in the shower?”
Lin’s face went from pink to red, as she opened her mouth. No sound escaped though as she tried to find words.
Kya took her silence as her answer though. “That’s what I thought. Now shall we have that shower?” She held her hand out to help Lin up.
Lin accepted the hand and stood. She then finally shed her clothes before pulling Kya close. She then lifted Kya, bridal style, ignoring the small, startled squeal she got from the older waterbending beauty. Lin flicked her hand towards the knob of the tap to turn the metal handle. Water instantly flowed from the showerhead, as she carried her love with steady steps.
Kya, after wrapping her arms around Lin’s shoulder and neck, bent the water to the perfect temperature.
Lin set Kya gently into the shower, before stepping in behind her. Her hands quickly found their way to the silver-haired beauty’s hips.
Kya turned them so that Lin’s back was against the tiled wall. “Thank you for joining me.” She then placed a steamy kiss on her lips, that echoed the steam curling around their bodies.
Lin used Kya’s distraction to switch their positions, taking control of the situation. She broke their kiss, to start trailing kisses across the sharp jaw towards Kya’s ear. “Let me show you my appreciation for healing me.”
Kya’s breath shuddered from her lips as she gasped when Lin sucked on her skin just above her clavicle. “O-okay.” She responded breathily.
Lin knelt down, placing a kiss to her navel, before leaning back and giving her a dangerous grin. “Trust me?”
Despite Lin’s grin, Kya knew her answer. “Always.”
