Summary
The life of a hunter is difficult, yet fulfilling. Kurai prides himself on being the Sapphire Star of the Research Commission's Fifth Fleet. As a capable, veteran hunter, he works hard to ensure the safety of the Research Commission's activity in the New World. Even though the mystery of the Elder Crossing had been solved, there was always more to learn about the fearsome monsters that stalked the New World, and one never knew when another world-ending Elder Dragon threat would pop up. But when a seemingly mundane hunt goes terribly wrong, he finds himself in a strange new world, inhabited not by monsters, but by Pokémon. As he learns more about the world he's found himself stuck in, monsters from his own world begin appearing. In a time where people and Pokémon don't always get along, can he and the prodigious young Savior of Hisui figure out the cause behind the influx of otherworldly monsters? Will he ever return home? And what's with the strange virus affecting both monsters and Pokémon alike?
