"Mnnn…mm.." Yuzu wakes up from a pleasant, warm nap. It was rather dark outside anyway, but she's been rather tired recently.
Riiiiinnnggg.. Her phone's text tone sounds, causing the pinkette to slightly jolt. "..Hm..? Oh, it's just Yuya," she checks her phone, sighing slightly.
It was a nice night out, and that was something the pigtailed girl instantly noticed as she looked out her window. A lightbulb glows in her mind as she thinks of something, quickly texting Yuya.
Yuya arrives at her door soon after, with a pretty stuffed bag. Yuzu lets the tomato-haired boy in, stifling a laugh. "Geez, Yuya..just how much did you bring?!"
"It's not thaaat much, Yuzu! We're going out stargazing tonight, after all. I just brought what Google told me to!" Yuya laughs nervously. Yuzu giggles. "Okay. It's really nice out…wanna go now?" She asks, as Yuya instantly answers with a small nod.
As the two step outside, they instantly take in the beautiful scenery, the light of the moon creating a warm atmosphere. A soft breeze rushes over them, blowing back their hair. Yuya smiles - he has to admit, he was looking forward to being able to spend some time and relax with Yuzu, because it's not often they get to do so with all the dimension shenanigans happening lately. It's a surprisingly warm night, and this relaxes the goggle-clad one significantly. He lays out the blanket on the grass, grabbing Yuzu's hand quickly without a second thought as he leads her to lay down with him, saying 'come on!' without the need for words.
As they lay down, Yuya excitedly points out certain constellations that peak his interest, while Yuzu listens with a smile. She breathes in for a moment, closing her eyes. She loved listening to Yuya talk about..basically whatever, really. He'd add little hand movements at times and the way he worded everything so…brilliantly, kept Yuzu engrossed in whatever crossed the boy's mind. Though, it's to be expected, after all, Yuya is one hell of an Entertainment Duelist. She presses a soft kiss on Yuya's hand, smiling.
The cool, crisp air of the night, and the warm glow of the stars washing over them makes the bracelet-clad pinkette a little sleepy. She lays down a bit more, resting her head in Yuya's arms. Yuya blushes for a spilt second, but he doesn't mind. Yuzu looks so…content, simply so warm, and makes Yuya smile down softly at the girl. Yuya's scent was comforting, familiar for the girl, and it made her feel at peace.
After a good amount of time, she wakes up a little, not realizing she fell asleep. Yuya smiles down at her, laughing a little - his voice is mild and soft. "Hehe, you got sleepy fast," he pointed out warmly. "That's okay, though. To be honest, this is kinda making me a bit sleepy too." Yuya says, trailing off with a small giggle.
It's rather late, so the two decide to have a quick Duel to pass time. It's a draw, but they don't mind that neither of them won or lost. They simply enjoy each other's company, laying back down on the blanket before drifting off to a cozy, relaxing sleep.
Yuzu's hand is squeezed within Yuya's, both of their expressions content and relaxed.
The moments of peace between them are always things they won't forget. As long as they have each other, no matter what dimensional mishaps they get into next time, they'll be stronger than ever before.
