“Rhodey’s coming over.”
Stephen looks up from his book. “Does he know about the baby?” It’s only been a week since he told Tony, but Rhodes is his best friend.
Tony shakes his head. “I wouldn’t have told someone without talking to you.” He sounds defensive. Apparently, they aren’t quite on the same page.
Stephen takes Tony’s hands in his. “This isn’t a secret. You can tell anyone you want.”
Tony hesitates. “The press are going to be awful. You might want to–”
“I want you.” Stephen says firmly.
Tony’s smile when Stephen chooses him gets more glorious every time.
