“Mommy?”
“Yeah, bud?”
“Look what I find.” They said, holding up a small crab plushie for him to see.
Tommy smiled down at them, chest tightening at how proud of themselves they looked. He crouched down and patted the crab on its head.
“You got a name for it yet?” He asked, and Shroud’s eyes widened slightly as they shook their head, looking down at the crab.
“I name it Rock.” They said, looking back up at the older with a grin.
The teen had to hold back a laugh at that, standing up as he turned back to the shelves with a smile.
“That’s a great name, Shroud.”

The title says it all, basically an apocalypse au but hey Shroud’s here!
I might write some sort of backstory to this but knowing me I probably won’t.
Edit: school is kicking my ass rn but i swear chapter 2 will come out eventually 💀
Edit 2: its been a bit, putting this on hiatus so I can finish school but also so I can figure out what to do with the plot bc I don't feel comfortable putting wilbur soot in the fic anymore. If anyone wants to write some one-shots or something inspired by this go ahead just like comment on this and lmk cause that'd be super cool <3Series
