This is the story of how I got an amazing boyfriend, and one who's a piece of shit.
Hey, Varian isn't a piece of shit.
Was talking about you, Hugo.
Wha- I'm amazing!
Uhuh, sure... anyways. This is that story, and it starts, at a wedding. Hugo and Varian's to be exact.
'"Oh fuck," He said silently right as the couple kissed. This was bad. He had fallen for both of his friends and he was too late to do anything about it.'
Yea, that's where we left off, but let's finish that story, shall we?
Sam went back to his room after the wedding and sat with his back to the door, face in his knees. How could this happen? Why did he need to realize it on their wedding day? Should he tell them? No, that would be a terrible idea. He couldn't risk fucking up his friendship with both of them, especially Varian. He had been there for him through thick and thin.
He stayed there for a while, just thinking of what to do. It would kill him to keep this inside, but he didn't see another choice. He got up and changed out of the suit before leaving the castle to go to the Snuggly Duckling.
Needless to say that after a few drinks, Sam was drunk. He ranted a bit to the thugs before passing out while drinking another mug. He woke up in a bed and groaned lightly.
He got up, a bit dizzy with a headache and left the pub. He traveled back to the castle, which took longer than it should've, but he was hung over, what'd ya expect?
Sam went in and was greeted by the guards, he went up to his room and flopped on his bed. He was going to go back to sleep until a knock was on his door.
"Come in," He groaned. Varian came into the room.
"Hey Sam, I tried to come by last night but you weren't here and.. are you okay?"
"Yea, just went to the Snuggly Duckling for a few drinks and accidently got drunk," Sam lied, he meant to get drunk.
"Oh, you just left so soon after the wedding and I wanted to make sure you were doing okay."
"Oh, yea, I'm okay.." Sam wanted to tell him the truth. "Actually, I have a question." Varian stayed silent, letting him continue. "Say you found something out that could ruin your friendship with someone, would you tell them still?"
"Uh..." He thought for a moment. "Yea, I probably would, depending on how important it is."
"Okay.. thanks."
"What is it? Maybe I could help you tell the person."
"I'll tell you when I'm ready," Sam forced a smile.
"Okay, I'm here for you, so is Hugo, and Rapunzel," Varian gave him a quick hug, he returned it before ruffling his hair.
"I know. Go, spend time with your new husband," Sam grinned when the younger tried to slap his hand away. Varian smiled and left the room.

It took Sam days to finally confront Varian and Hugo about his feelings. He knocked on their door and went in when he got an answer.
"Hey guys.."
"Hey Sam," Varian looked at him, so did Hugo.
"Sup Spots."
"So.. Varian, you remember our conversation a few days ago?"
"Yea.. do you wanna talk in private about it?"
"No, I need to talk to both of you about this," Sam sat on a chair and took a breath. "So... oh fuck, why is this so difficult?" he mumbled.
"What's up?" Varian elbowed Hugo's side when he asked it, trying to make the other more comfortable to say what he had to say.
"So.. I think I might have... feelings for both of you?" Sam brought his knees up to his chest. "I felt like I needed to tell you guys, I understand if you don't want to be friends anymore or if..." He took a breath.
"Oh.." Was all Varian said. Hugo didn't say anything and Sam was too scared to look up to see their faces. "This won't ruin our friendship, but Hugo and I will need to talk."
Sam got up. "I understand. Well, I'll maybe see you guys later," he left the room quickly, really hoping they wouldn't see him differently.
It took a few hours for Sam to hear a knock at his door, he answered it and found the other two standing there.
"Oh, hey guys," Sam avoided looking them in the eyes. "I'm sorry about earlier and-"
"We're willing to try," Varian looked at him.
"W-what? Try what?"
"Having you in our relationship," He smiled.
"Wait, really?"
"No, we're messing with you," Hugo deadpanned.
"Wow, I mean.. I wasn't expecting this," Sam chuckled, still shocked at the news. Varian held a hand out to him and the other to Hugo. The oldest took his hand, so did the blond. Hugo took Sam's other hand. The brown haired smiled.

It took a couple weeks for them all to share their first kiss. When they did though, it made Sam realize it was worth telling them. He was happy with his boyfriends. Coming out was hard, but their friends were supportive.
