Chapter 1: Sapphires and sorrows

Chapter Text

After a tiring day, Tine was going back to his dorm, which is half a kilometer away from his university. He was listening to his favorite scrubb song when he saw a few workers working on the road. The road was blocked because of the construction work, so he took another path to reach the dorm.

He was on his way to his dorm when he noticed a lovely ancient relic shop that reminded him of European architecture. 'Is this a new shop? I've never seen it before, but it appears to be extremely old. Maybe I was so ignorant that I never noticed such a lovely shop whenever I came along this road.'

He went inside the shop curiously. The shop was filled with all the ancient clocks, small statues, vases, antique mirrors, sound boxes, etc., and then there was a beautiful, dazzling sapphire ring, which was shining bright and was the most beautiful item in the shop. Tine was mesmerized by the beauty of the ring. He was looking at the ring closely with his glistening eyes. As he was about to touch the ring, the owner of the shop entered the shop from the back door. He saw Tine and said to him “Do you like this ring?”.

"Yeah, it's so beautiful," Tine said. I can't believe that such incredible things still exist."

"If you really like it, you can have it."

"I'm sorry, but this appears to be very expensive, and I don't have that much money."

"No problem, take it; I don't need this ring in my shop anymore."

"Why?" Tine inquired.

"Because I'm closing this shop in a few days and was planning to throw everything away."

"How come you're closing this shop?" It's a beautiful shop."

"No one likes shops like this any longer; no one comes here, and I'm not making any money from it, so it's better to close a place like this." You are welcome to take this ring."

"Are you sure I can take it?"

"I'm absolutely sure."

"Okay, if you say so."

Tine put the ring onto his finger.

"It fits you perfectly; it looks like this ring was made just for you," the shop owner added.

"I'm surprised at how well this ring fits me." Tine chuckled as he spoke.

He was closely looking at the ring and felt overwhelmed when his phone unexpectedly rang. It was Fong, his buddy.

"Hello, Tine, where are you? Can you come here to the football field right away? Sarawat has begun wrecking havoc here," Fong stated, his voice shaking and anxious.

Tine was not surprised to hear that Sarawat was wreaking havoc once again, but he became furious by his actions and dashed to his friends.

When he reached there, he saw Sarawat and his friends fighting with his friends. Tine became infuriated and ran at Sarawat, punching him square in the face.

"Oh, here you come, Tine; I was waiting for you," Sarawat exclaimed, his face flushed and agitated.

"Yeah, sarawat, I've been waiting for you to make a scene again so I could teach you how to behave."

"Oh, really, have you forgotten who's the boss here?" "Do I need to remind you?" Sarawat returned the punch to Tine as he said this.

They began fighting, inflicting severe injury on one other, venting their rage and renewing their rivalry.

It wasn't the first time they'd gotten into a heated fight; there had been several occasions when they'd lost their cool and took it out on each other.

After fighting for about half an hour, when they were both physically exhausted, they ended their fight.

"I hope you can be at my place to know how much I hate you," Tine shouted with anger, and they went from there.

He returned to his dorm, exhausted by everything that had occurred. Getting into a fight with Sarawat has always been an awful experience for him; it frustrates him and makes him loathe Sarawat more and more each day.

Tine’s head was cluttered with all the thoughts he was having. After diving into his hateful thoughts of Sarawat, he finally decided to go to sleep with all the bruises and injuries on his body.

It will take several days to heal. He applied medicine and bandages to them and finally slept.

It was a lovely and fresh morning, yet something was off. Tine felt strange; he noticed his room didn't look familiar. He muffled his eyes again, but it was still a different room.

He jumped out of bed, and everything was different. He gazed out the window; the neighborhood had changed. His head was flashing out, and he couldn't fathom what was going on with him.

He was rushing around the room, his head clenched. After sprinting across the room for a while, he came across the mirror on the table.

"What the fuck!"

Notes:

Hey! Everyone, how have you been? So I had this prompt for a long time, and I wanted to write it so bad, but due to my exams and studies, I was inhibiting myself, but I couldn't control myself anymore, so I wrote this very first chapter. I hope you all will like this segment and show your love for this chapter.❤️🫶

Suggestions are appreciated every time, and make sure to comment on your favorite part of the story and discuss your ideas with me.💯🌷

There is body swapping, so to avoid confusion, when I refer to Tine, you may imagine Tine, who is encaged in Sarawat's body.❤️

I love you all and hope to meet you in the next chapter (it's going to be an exciting one).🫣🥹
