Chapter Text
Vulkan opened his eyes, intense pain coursing through him.
“Are you okay?”
A World Eater asked, staring down at him.
Where am I?
He sat up blinking, finding himself surrounded by several World Eater corpses.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt your brothers.”
He reached out, placing a hand on the World Eater's shoulder. The World Eater stared at him frozen.
“Who are you and what did you do to our Primarch?”

Lion woke up with a pounding headache, the last thing he remembered was a bright flash of light, and now he was lying on the floor.
What happened?
He stood up, staring down at his hands seeing them red? Why were his hands red?
Magnus, I swear if you fracked with me.
“My lord?”
He turned to see Ahriman standing there, staring at him.
Why is he calling me my lord?
He glanced down at his armor, just now registering that his armor wasn’t the usual one he wore, but was Magnus’s.
Right, I’m going to kill him.

“Switch us back.”
Roboute entered the room to the sound of Magnus shouting, his eyes immediately found Magnus, finding him standing there, one arm wrapped around Lion's throat.
Ah, they must have switched.
“Lion I can’t switch us back while you're choking me.”
Magnus wheezed, clawing at his arm. Finally, Lion let him go. Roboute sighed stepping forward.
“And perhaps we should wait until the others get here, so we can all do it all at once.”
Lion sighed, sitting down as far away from Magnus as possible.
“Wow Roboute you look good in my body, maybe I should put my hair up more often.”
Roboute sighed, turning to face Fulgrim.
“I would strongly advise you didn’t, the Emperor's children had some interesting reactions when I did that.”
Fulgrim grinned at him.
“I’m sure they did, I’m having some interesting reactions seeing you like this.”
Roboute blushed as Fulgrim stuck his tongue out at him.
“I’m not going to sleep with my own body Fulgrim.”
Fulgrim raised an eyebrow.
“Don’t tell me you haven’t ever thought about it, and we’re in separate bodies.”
“No Fulgrim I haven’t.”
***
Magnus sighed.
“For the last time Lion-.”
“Magnus, what did you do?”
He looked up as Dorn entered, holding a mug and glowering at him.
Ah, that must be Leman.
He raised his hands.
“I swear I had nothing to do with this.”
“Really? Because you're the only ones who seem to mess around with these kind of things.”
Magnus sighed.
“Why would I even want to do this?”
Leman looked put off.
“I don’t know, I never know what you people do.”
Magnus was about to open his mouth when Perturabo entered, followed behind by a teary-eyed Forrix.
Is he Vulkan maybe?
“My lord, I’m so glad I found you.”
Azkaellon said, bursting in through another door followed by a very unhappy-looking Perturabo.
“What have you done to my legionnaire?”
Perturabo demanded, glaring at who Magnus now realized was Sanguinius, Sanguinius raised his hands.
“Nothing, I just paid him a compliment and he started acting like this.”

Perturabo stared at him, a shocked look on his face.
“You did what?”
Sanguinius shrugged.
“I was just being kind to him, I don’t know why he reacted like this.”
He saw Forrix hurriedly wiping tears from his eyes. Perturabo crossed his arms.
“You saw how I treated them, you should have treated them the same.”
Sanguinius also crossed his arms, feeling defensive.
“Well, maybe you should give him more emotional support. this wouldn’t happen!”
***
Horus winced as he saw Perturabo and Sanguinius arguing.
“What happened?”
Roboute looked up at him.
“Perturabo got angry at Sanguinius because apparently he was kind to his Astartes and he thought that made them weak. Then Sanguinius said he should give them emotional support and that caused more fights.”
Horus grimaced.
“Yeah, I can see why that would cause problems.”
Roboute looked at him curiously.
“Who are you? You're in the body of Corvus but.”
“Horus, I’m Horus. Who are you in Fulgrim's body?”
Roboute placed a hand on his chest.
“Roboute.”
Horus sighed as Azkaellon and Sang's other guards stepped in between them.
“Now, I’d best try and stop this.”
He said, walking towards them.
***
“No, you will not get drunk in my body.”
Came Dorn's indignant voice.
“Well first of all at the moment it’s my body and se-.”
Leman swayed, and for a moment Horus thought he was going to collapse, only for him to straighten, and take another swig.
“See it’s fine! I’ll admit your body is a little bit of a lightweight but still.”
Horus sighed, standing up.
I’d best deal with this too.
As he got up the door opened again, and his own body entered. Corvus sounded a lot louder in his body than he usually did.
He must be still adjusting to it.
Pushing past that he stepped between Dorn and Leman.
“Leman this isn’t your body, you should treat it with more care.”
“But-.”
Horus shook his head.
“No buts how would you feel if say Magnus got switched with you and started fucking it up?”
Leman stared at him for a long before groaning and stalking to the couch.
“Fine.”

The woman in the white shirt didn’t turn around, as they entered the bridge.
“Angron you’ve received messages from your brothers requesting a meeting.”
Vulkan unwrapped his arm from around Kharn stepping up.
“I have a feeling I know what they want to talk about, send a message back to let them know we’ll be on our way.”
The woman turned around and frowned.
“Who are you and what have you done with Angron?”
Kharn stepped forward.
“Lotara, what we understand, is Angron and Vulkan swapped bodies, we don’t know how, the others might have answers.”
Lotara stared at them for a few moments before turning back.
“We’ll set course for the meeting place then.”
***
“Ferrus.”
Roboute watched as Fulgrim threw his arms around Mortarion, smiling.
Oh boy, I really don’t think Mortarion's going to like this.
And he was right, he watched as Mortarion stormed in, turning purple at the sight of Fulgrim's arms wrapped around Ferrus.
