   Ahaha, oh my goodness, I love this fic! What an inspired choice! I can't wait to listen to it. (Probably tomorrow.) Will be back with feedback then, but for now: THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :D

   Hi! I'm back! And oh my goodness, this was a delight! I listened to it in the bath yesterday, and had so much fun. it really was a perfect choice of fic! ♥ ♥ ♥

   Things I particularly enjoyed about your reading:
   - your lush melodrama and breathlessness (as appropriate) when reading the quotes -- hilarious and fitting! (I liked how you introduced them, too, and of course, your use of the show's soundtrack to heighten them. ♥)
   - your performance of Shen Wei's POV, with all its bafflement, protectiveness, restrained outrage, and love was just wonderful.
   - I also especially adored how you rendered Zhao Yunlan's hilarity in the office scene -- spot on, and so delightful! (I love him so much! :D)
   - I feel like the Regent must have been a little bit of a challenge, but you captured his two-faced oily self-interest brilliantly.

   Overall, it was such a wonderful pleasure to listen to. Thank you again, so much!! ♥

      Aw, I'm glad you were able to enjoy it. It's not my usual fare, and the structure was challenging. The soundtrack definitely helped set the mood (while parodying the mood at the same time). Thank goodness for music.

      I'm so pleased that Shen Wei felt right--sigh--and that Zhao Yunlan's humor came through. Thanks for telling me!

      It was kind of you to nominate a friend for a podfic. I hope she isn't appalled!

   I've been meaning to read this story for a long time, thanks for enabling me to finally experience it 🙏

   The music you set the romance novel excerpts to made me crack up, what fantastic choices 😂 and the confrontation with the Regent was appropriately dramatic! It was easy to follow along thanks to your breaks and descriptions of chapter breaks and quotes, too 💖
