Chapter 1: Game

Chapter Text

It started with one simple phrase.

"Wanna play a game while we wait?" The Engineer was smirking from his spot at his engine as he looked over the chain. Wind narrowed his eyes.

"What kind of game?" Wind asked, suspicious. Engie smiled and hopped across the little railing around the cart, reaching under the first row bench next to Wind. He pulled out a net that looked more for fish than bugs.

"Rabbit rescue!" Engie's grin turned wicked as several Chain members leapt forward, eager to try. It wasn't like they were going anywhere for a little while, after all.
