The alleys echoed with the shrill cry of a nearby monster, sending a shiver down their spines.
Walking side by side, Kim Namwoon clung to Akutagawa as if his very life depended on it. Though, it became normal for the two to be together. Namwoon wouldn't let Akutagawa go alone, just so Namwoon can be there to protect Akutagawa at all times.
Akutagawa's eyes darted around, searching for any other lurking creatures, paying no mind to the notifications popping up on the screen or the coins being donated.

A generous donation of 200 coins accompanied the cheers, bringing a confident smirk to Kim Namwoon's lips. He was no stranger to these donations, regularly gifted by Akutagawa's loyal sponsor. And so, fueled by gratitude and determination, he resolved to protect Akutagawa with all his might.
Because, let's face it, Akutagawa-nim was simply the best.
Kim Namwoon would never admit it to anyone else, but deep down, he truly admired the other. It wasn't just because Akutagawa had once saved him from a dire situation, though that was certainly part of it.
No, there was something more to it. Akutagawa, despite his seemingly delicate and skinny frame, possessed a strength that surpassed all expectations. With a multitude of attributes and a powerful constellation, he was a force to be reckoned with.
Perhaps, just perhaps, fate had smiled upon them, bringing them together in this damned world, even if it is destroyed now because of the apocalypse or whatever. And Kim Namwoon couldn't help but feel that it was a stroke of incredible luck.
He wasn't about to let any ill fortune prevent him from seeing every inch of Akutagawa.
