Work Text:

Stiles worked his way through all the evidence he and Peter had gathered. Diligently adding post-it notes and strings to tell the story in the easiest manner, trying to base his conclusions on facts not hypotheticals.

This pack of wolves that has wandered into Beacon Hills is trouble and he knows it, he needs to prove it to Scott. Prove they can’t just “talk” and send them on their way. They have killed before and they are going to do it again, be it in Beacon Hills or somewhere else.

They have the opportunity to stop more bloodshed and he needs Scott to understand that. His “We Don’t Kill” Shtick is giving their pack a bad name as the baddies just wander off and keep doing what they are doing.

Peter slips up beside him, holding a cup of steaming tea in front of his face. “Sweetheart. You need a break”

The time of their meeting with Scott comes and goes. Stiles begins to pace checking his phone, texting Scott and getting no reply.

Peters pulls out his phone and growls as he reads an incoming message. He walks over grabs a red marker and another post it note, slamming it over the face of the other packs Alpha Brian.

Oregon Fire, 6 adults, 5 children under 6 -blunt force trauma.

Stiles stares open mouthed at the information. “Are you sure Peter?”

Peter's eyes flash as he rolls his head cracking his neck, it's obvious it's taking everything in him to control his wolf. “My contact would not lie about this Stiles. This pack must be stopped”

Stiles grabs his jacket and his new bat, covered in runs and wrapped in wolfsbane. He turns with a grin at Peter. “Looks like it's just you and me Zombie wolf.”

Scotts heading up the front steps as they step out the door.

Scott starts talking as soon as he sees Stiles. “Hey Stiles sorry I’m late, I went and talked to Brian, that's the Alpha. Man he was so cool, he's got an amazing motorbike and they are just cruising down to Mexico from Canada. They just stopped here for a week, but are thinking of staying”

Stiles just stares at him. “What?”

“Ya man they are a really cool bunch, he offered to let me try his bike. He’s got this really pretty girl named Amanda in his pack, she gave me her number.” Scotts got that lost in puppy look on his face.

Stiles tilts his head and Peter snorts.

“Scott, “I couldn’t care less about you, and your opinion. This pack have left behind a string of crimes, theft, assault, rape and fucking murder Scott” He pushes past the Alpha, Peter following behind with a smirk.

“What? Stiles. Don’t be stupid, they are cool.” Scott reaches out to grab Stiles, who ducks and twists away from his reach.

“Peter and I will deal with this, like we always do. Just go home Scott.” He tosses his bat into the back of the jeep and pulls himself into the driver's seat, Peter sliding in on the other side.

Pulling away Scott stands in the yard staring at them, mouth slightly open, like he wants to say something but can’t find his words.

The steering wheel creaks as Stiles clenches his fists. Taking a few slow calming breaths.

Peter waits a moment then speaks quietly “So what's the plan?”

“We deal with this fucking pack, get you a spark and let Scott know the Hale Pack is pack and he can just go back to playing games and fucking girls. ” Stiles' voice is strained as he battles his emotions.

"I think it's time for a change."

The wolf can smell the anger and sadness coming from him.

“As you wish Sweetheart.”
