When it's cold, being curled up in a blanket and lying down on your own bed lazily is the best way to spend the night. It has been raining the whole day non stop, and its getting colder as the night comes. Luckily, the rain has stopped.
Mizuki didn't like the cold, it always makes their nose runny. They didn't know how long they have been lying there for, but they're really comfortable.
Even in that comfy state, Mizuki still feels that something was missing. Some warmth was missing, someone's warmth. They processed their brain for a bit, and immediately thought of Ena. They needed Ena's warmth. They wanted to cuddle with her.
Without wasting any time, they reached out for their phone and opened Nightcord. When Mizuki opened the app, they saw everyone was offline, considering they didn't have a meeting tonight. Luckily, Ena was online. Mizuki opened their dm with Ena, and started typing.

That was easier than expected, Mizuki thought. Cuddling with her girlfriend is one of the many things Mizuki loves.
Now they just have to wait for Ena to come over.

i'll be there in fifteen minutes
While waiting for Ena to arrive, Mizuki scrolled through some videos while being wrapped in a blanket like a burrito. Their eyes felt heavy and almost fell asleep, but was awaken by the sound of the door knocking.
Mizuki hurried downstairs to open the door. It could only be one person who could possibly knock on the door at this hour. When the door was opened, there stood Ena in a black hoodie and was shivering from the cold.
"Ena! Took you long enough. I almost fell asleep waiting" Mizuki greeted her. They were really, really happy to see their girlfriend again even though they just went on a date 2 days ago. Still, they were really glad to see her.
"Hey, Mizuki. Can I come in now? It's really cold out here" both Ena's hands were inside the pocket of her hoodie.
"Oh, yeah! Come in" Mizuki opened the door wider to let her in. Once she entered, Mizuki immediately led Ena to their room. No one was at home except for them, so they can enjoy the time alone, and by that means cuddling.
Mizuki's room was dark. The only source of light was the night lamp beside the bed. Mizuki then slid under the bed's blanket and patting the space beside them invitng Ena in. Ena sighed, and slid under the blanket as well. Turning off the night lamp in process.
Without any time wasted, Mizuki slipped their arms on Ena's waist and snuggled up to her chest. "Geez, you're such a baby sometimes" Ena said as she hugs Mizuki's body, resting her head on top of Mizuki's head.
"Yeah, but Im your baby aren't I?" They snuggled closer to Ena's chest. Both of their legs were tangled with each other.
"That's so cheesy" Ena's nose were on Mizuki's hair. Their hair smelled like strawberry.
"Mhm..."
It was too comfortable. Cuddling Mizuki was comfortable. It makes Ena easier to fall asleep without any worries. She wished she could do thsi everyday with them. Ena's eyes were sleepy.
"Hey, Ena?" The sudden voice woke her up.
"Yeah?"
"Is it okay if I do something to you right now?" Mizuki tilted her head up to face Ena properly. They were looking at Ena with those shiny eyes as if begging for something.
"Sure? As long as it's nothing weird. Why ask?" Ena was puzzled. It's rare for Mizuki to ask for something.
"Just making sure you're okay with it"
"Yeah, but-"
Ena's words were cut when she felt a pair of arms slipped under her hoodie, the hands were on here back and soft lips were pressed on her neck. She was too overwhelmed by the effection.
"Why..." Ena muttered into Mizuki's hair
"Huh?" Mizuki didn't quite catch what she said. "Was that not okay? Did I stepped too far?" Mizuki was almost in a panick mode.
"No, no Im okay with it" Ena attempted to comfort them back by hugging them tighter, "I said, why not on the lips?" She was glad that Mizuki couldn't see her face, she red as a tomato.
"Oh- um, I just felt like kissing your neck?" Mizuki wasn't even sure why they do that either.
Before they could say anything, they felt Ena shifting to face them. Her hands were on their cheeks. Soft lips met theirs. The kiss was long, but in a passionate way. When they parted, Ena smiled softly at them.
"Better" Ena whispered softly
Ena then continued cuddling them, her face on Mizuki's hair. Pulling them closer, and tangling their legs together. Both of their hearts were beating fast. Mizuki ignored the beating of their heart and snuggled closely to Ena.
"Goodnight, Enanan"
"Goodnight, Amia"
Ena kissed Mizuki's crown before drifting off to sleep. Both of them wouldn't mind waking up late tomorrow as long as their in each other's arms. Well, Mizuki had a school to attend, but of course they'll skip it if it means getting to spend more time cuddling their girlfriend.
The night was comforting for both of them.
