Work Text:
Shinichirou Kuramoto thought he had a very normal, very happy life. His kids were doing well in school, his wife made him a really cute bento today, and his boss was getting out of the hospital in an hour.
Hanagami-sensei is a good man, although he’s not a very socially aware man. He interrupts people when he’s excited (which is all the time), he gestures wildly when he’s talking (and accidentally hits people in the face), he has absolutely no awareness of personal space, and he’s loud.
All of these things melt away in the face of his sheer positivity and passion. When he’s not working on DL, he makes Niconico tutorials on composition and anatomy or does helper work on random projects.
Honestly, it’s no wonder he dived after Miyama. That’s just the kind of person he is. He doesn’t care if people hate him, as long as they don’t hurt anyone.
The noise of the door opening snapped Shinichirou out of his thoughts. Hanagami-sensei appeared thoroughly disinterested, looking off to one side.
Kinotani-san was with him, holding his discharge papers. She smiled as she talked, “No concussion, just some fatigue! We can still make the next deadline!”
“…I’m going to go home. I have something to do.” Hanagami-sensei was unusually quiet, his body language shifting to be more closed off.
He tuned out the conversation as Hanagami-sensei shuffled off, mumbling under his breath. Something was wrong , something that couldn’t be fully explained by a bad fall.
Miyama-san skipped into the room, a wide smile on his face. “My friends! Did he already leave? I need to get his address…”
Tanaka-san smacked the back of his head. “You already know where Hanagami-sensei lives. Or did you forget that along with your personality when you fell?”
“OW? I mean, yeah. I also don’t know where I live .” Miyama slumped from the impact of the hit, rubbing his head.
Everyone in the room shared a look. “Dude. Lead with that first.”
