    Hiccup didn't expect much from his life at 16, to be honest, he was born different than any other Viking. In addition to being smaller and thinner, his voice was not like that of the other Vikings, no matter how hard he tried, he never managed to learn to speak like the others. Whenever he tried, all that came out were roars and growls, he could understand the Vikings only he couldn't respond. While he could easily hear, understand and speak the language of dragons. And this ability completely transformed his life, after all all he did was ensure that the dragons escaped, take care of them and protect them. But Hiccup never got close enough to know which dragon his roar was from, all that changes when he finds Toothless, after all dragons find their life companions through their roar and Toothless heard Hiccup.
