The Goth mom and her Beloved Kids

Uzi POV
The Doorman household
Uzi was at her computer after she had just finished one of the documents for what she needs for her workplace for the week. Normally she would be doing her work in her lab but decided that she wanted a change of location for today. While she was finishing up her work for the day Uzi then began to think about how her adult life has been nothing like how she expected and she was happy about it. She figured that she would be alone and just be living in her Dad’s house forever and just be seen as a freak by everyone. But she managed to find love with N and has a job where she is seen with actual respect by more than just her friends and husband.
Of course She couldn’t forget about her two Children that she and N made. There were her two goobers and she loved them both dearly even if Latch thinks that she loves Bolt more just because he came first. And then Speaking of Her kids One of them seemed to be back now from School as she heard the Front Door open up.
“Hi Mom.” A feminine voice said while walking into the house.
“Hey There Latch.” Uzi said while turning around in her chair.
Latch was always the one that had more of her personality within her data between her two kids. She always has a knack for causing trouble much to her joy and annoyance at the same time. On one hand seeing her chaotic nature reminds her of the past but on the other hand she sometimes goes a bit too far and that’s when she has to put her foot down in letting her go all the way with her fun.
“So? How was school?” She asks her.
“The usual. Boring as crap with lots of homework.” Latch tells her in her usual bored manner when talking about school.
“Yep. Been there and done that.” Uzi said to her while remembering back to those days.
“So Did anything else happen?"
"No. Nothing else happened." Latch tells her mom.
So Uzi then got up from her workplace and went over to where Latch was at the kitchen table sitting on one of the chairs. But Then She noticed that there was a Paper on the Table that had Latch’s writing on it that was out in the open.
“Crap! I forgot to put that in my room last night." Latch says to herself in her processor while having a nervous look on her visor.
And that’s when Uzi had a look on her face that Latch likes to call “Mom Mode.”
“Latch? What’s with the paper on the desk?” Uzi then asks Latch.
“Alright! It’s my written out plan on how to live outside of the bunker.” She immediately admits to her Mom.
“And why are you trying to live outside the bunker?” She then asks her.
“Because I just want to do something exciting for a change."
"And also so I can do something exciting that could possibly make Tyler Realize that I exist." Latch says to herself within her CPU.
Uzi has no idea where she got this from. She knows that it's dangerous to be outside of the bunker even without the threat of death being removed. She could freeze out there or something worse could happen to her. So there was only one thing she could do in a situation like this.
“Latch. You’re grounded.” She then tells her in the informed voice she uses when she has to be serious.
"Grounded!? Why?" Latch then says to her in a shocked manner.
“Because You should have not thought about Sneaking Out.” Uzi explains to her daughter.
”You know….This feels weird to be on the other side of this.” Uzi then thought to herself about all the times Khan has grounded her.
“But why are you going to ground me for something if I didn’t even do it yet?” Latch then says to her.
You know? Her daughter was right. If she didn't do it yet why ground her? And unlike "Him" she at least knows how to be a parent and listen to their kid. So Uzi then looked at her Daughter for a few seconds and then her visor turned into a more calm tone compared to what she had on before.
“I guess you are right. I’m Sorry Sweetie.” She says to Latch.
”But you’re still punished for thinking about sneaking out.” She then tells Latch.
“Really!?” She said to her mom in an annoyed and frustrated tone.
“Yes. Since I have been working all day and your father is on security no one has cleaned the lab today. So as your punishment for trying to sneak outside of the colony you're cleaning the lab for an hour.” Uzi then explains to Latch.
"But Mom?" Latch then complains a bit.
"It's either that or you can maybe admit that it was really you who blew up the school lab and not Bolt." She then tells Latch, reminding her of a previous incident that occurred in School a few months ago.
”Alright. I will clean up the lab.” She told her in an annoyed tone while getting up from the chair and heading to her Mom's lab.
”Thanks Sweetie.” Uzi says to her.
Uzi was used to Latch’s rebellious attitude lately since she felt so much like her when she was younger. But she has no idea where she got the idea of living outside of the bunker from. But while she was still thinking about it, The Front Door opened up again.
“Hi Mom.” Said a male Drone Voice entering the living room.
”Hey Bolt.” Uzi said to her son.
Bolt was always more of a mix of both of their Data. She has some of her rebel nature in him but that only happens every so often. And as for N’s Data he’s always willing to help her out with any project or Job that she or N need assistance with.
“Hey Sis.” He then says to Latch after noticing her walking by towards mom's workplace.
“Bite me!” She snaps at Bolt while heading into the lab.
Bolt then looked confused in his visor and wondered why his Sister was angrily going to the lab. She wasn’t going to try and bring a weapon to school again was she? He and mom know what happened the last time Latch tried that. So he decided to ask his mom.
“So? What's Latch up to?”
”She thought that she could live outside the bunker with a list. So she's cleaning up the lab as punishment for trying to sneak out.” Uzi explains to Him.
“So how was your day at school?” Uzi then asks Her Oldest Son.
“Nothing much. Just the usual.” Bolt told her.
"Are you planning anything rebellious?" She somewhat jokingly said to him.
"You know that comes on rare occasions Mom." Bolt then reminds her.
"I know."
"So should I help Latch with cleaning up the lab or not?" Bolt then asks His Mom.
"No. She will be fine. Latch knows where everything goes." Uzi explains to Him.
"Ughh! This is so boring." Latch then says out loud complaining about the work she is doing.
"OK. If she's going to be fine I'm going to do some homework in my room." Bolt then tells his mom.
"Sure thing Son."
So Bolt then went up to his Room to do his homework leaving Uzi there in the kitchen by herself. So despite Latch’s Recent Rebellion Against Some Things Uzi Still loves her Two Kids. They are one of the best things to have happened to Her and N and Showcase how good of a Parent she is considering how Khan was never there for her. She would be there for her kids no matter what. They were hers and she wouldn’t trade them for the world.
“Ahh. I love those Two Goobers.” Uzi then said to herself.
