Background info
Thurd is the adopted daughter of Frigga and Odin and the adopted sister of Thor and Loki. She is third in line for the throne of Asgard after Loki. She is originally from Vanaheim; Frigga found her when she was a small child in an orphanage when she visited the realm.

Thurd’s P.O.V
I hate this. I was running down the hallway away from the throne room where mother, father, Thor, and Loki were. They don’t understand me; by they, I mean my mum and Father, except Thor and Loki. I ran into my room, got a bag from under my bed, and packed some clothes and mortal money. I also wrote my family a note telling them I was leaving. I walked out of my room to hear footsteps coming to the right, where the throne room was. I ran down the opposite way to the castle's entrance to the rainbow bridge.
When I reached the end of the bridge, I turned around and looked at my older brother, Thor. He had Winter, my pet tiger, all strapped up with her saddle and reins. He probably found the note I left on my bed.
“Why are you leaving Thurd?” he asked, looking pained.
“Because I don’t want to love those people,” I said, looking at him but not in his eyes. I couldn’t bear to see the pain in his eyes.
“But I do; everyone does. You're just afraid of someone getting too close,” said Thor.
“I know it’s just that I want to do this,” I said.
“Without you weapons and Winter sis.” He said with a chuckle. I glared at him. I raised my hand, and my whip and sword flew into my hand. The whip's handle was silver but covered in Asgardian symbols. The end of the whip was white leather, and the sword was silver, but the handle had a light blue fabric wrapped around it. The blade had carvings on both sides in Asgardian; one side was her name, and the other side said, “Find beauty in the smallest of things.” He handed me winter’s reins.
“Just remember you are always welcome back to Asgard,” Thor said.
“I know. Tell Mum, Dad, and Loki that I love them, and I will return when I’m ready,” I said to him and hugged him tightly. I walked to the exit. Heimdallr put his sword in the keyhole. The doors opened. I looked back, and Thor was still there. I waved back at him. He waved back at me. He turned around and flew off into the sky. I turned around and walked through with Winter by my side.
I stayed in my crouch position till my vision came still. I looked up and saw that we were in a forest, I think. I haven’t been outside Asgard because my parents never allowed me. I was pulled out of my inner monologue when winter came and stood before me. A group of people were running to where we were. Some, I tell, were running too fast for a moral to run, and I would know from what Thor said. My light blue cape flew in the air, and my brown hair with white and light blue strikes was flying. They were coming up fast; wait, why am I running away? I am the goddess of air.
“Winter, stop!” I commanded. She halted fast, and I flew out of the saddle, into a tree, and fell to the ground. I felt something heavy land on me. I opened my eyes a little and saw winter on top of me. I couldn’t breathe, and black spots formed in my eyes. The last thing I noticed was a group of people towering over us, and everything went black.
They looked up over the forest branches, and twigs were rustling quicker than before above their heads. The skies were a bit darker, and a deeper shade of blue was visible due to the gray clouds surrounding the clearing edge line. Some of them studied closer, noticing that the clouds were moving in a circular fashion. Now, the clouds were changing. Leaves, twigs, and branches swilled our heads. The funnel shot into the sky, disappearing from the air altogether, and the clouds cleared. The wind died down, and the leaves and flowers fell slowly to the ground.
Mystic Falls
“Elena, where are you going?” Yelled Damon as Stefan ran to where that weird light show happened, with Alaric trailing behind them.
“Elena, Damon, get back here now!” Yelled Stefan as he ran to catch up to them. Alaric ran behind me, flanked by Caroline, Bonnie, and Jermey. They saw a big scorch mark on the forest floor when we caught up.
“Whoa…Look at that big scorch mark,” said Elena. On the forest floor was a giant circular scorch mark with what looked like ancient markings.
Damon and Stefan had a concerned look in their eyes, moving closer to stand near Elena.
