Lloyd tried his best as he attacked Cinder, but he was too powerful. The others were covering for Zane and Wyldfyre, who were both injured. Zane had sparks coming from him, and Wyldfyre clutched her leg in pain.
Lloyd groaned in pain as he got up from getting knocked back towards the others, and glanced back at the others.
“The most logical solution would be to retreat.” Zane managed to say while glitching.
“B-but Ninjas don’t-“
Lloyd was cut off by Nya. “Lloyd! We have to go! We can’t defeat them like this! We have to get to the Bounty!”
Lloyd reluctantly nodded, Kai put Wyldfyre’s arm over his shoulder as Nya helped Zane up. Lloyd looked at the wolf warriors in slight fear, however, he knew that the others wouldn’t make it in time.
“Fine, I’ll hold them off. Get there as fast as you can.”
“Lloyd no!” Nya screamed, but Lloyd had already run towards the wolf warriors.
“Destroy him!” Ras roared.
“I’d like to see you try.” Lloyd hissed through clenched teeth. Lloyd glowed with purple powers as he felt himself grow in height, his horns popped out from his skull as he felt his canines grow sharper, he felt his extra pair of arms pop out as well. He could also feel his thin, black tail whip around behind him as he roared, challenging the wolf warriors.
Ras stared at Lloyd with a slightly shocked look, before he returned to being stoic and emotionless.
Cinder stared at Lloyd feeling slightly nervous as he began to try and attack Lloyd, using his shatterspin. The dark blood red color showed all around Cinder as Lloyd nearly took a step back in fear, but transferred his emotions into a deeper part of himself.
Lloyd used his violet purple power to blast away wolf warriors who tried to slip past him, trying to get to the others. He growled as he saw Cinder lunge at him. He grabbed his discarded sword and swung it at Cinder, who narrowly avoided Lloyd’s attack with a nervous scowl.

The others finally made it to the Bounty when they looked towards the Cloud Kingdom, where Lloyd still had her to return from.
“What is he?” Sora asked, a shocked expression on her face.
Arin turned to his friend, a shocked look on his face as well. “An oni. I’ve seen them before, when they attacked Ninjago. But I thought that the oni had black skin? Why is Lloyd’s gold?” Arin asked, turning to the other ninjas, however, they looked just as surprised as Arin and Sora.
Kai stepped forward, closer to the railing where his sister, Nya, stood, anxiously awaiting the arrival of their brother. “I don’t know. Lloyd never told us that he could use his oni form, we only knew that he was part oni and could maybe use the oni form, and that he could use the power of the oni.” Kai responded, when he heard a roar in the distance.
“GO!”
The sound was distorted but it still sounded like Lloyd. Nya ran over to the control module and powered up the Bounty as Kai grabbed the steering wheel and together they got the ship higher up in the air, and farther away from the Cloud Kingdom.
“Wait! What about Lloyd!” Arin yelled.
“He’ll make it!” Kai yelled as they spotted Lloyd sprinting towards them, still in his oni form.
“We’re too far from him!” Sora screamed, pulling at her hair.
Then, Lloyd dived off of the edge.
Everyone screamed out in a panic.
“Lloyd you crazy idiot!” Nya screamed, pounding her fist against the railing of the Bounty.
Sora and Arin felt like the others weren’t appearing to be feeling any sort of pain and grief that was striking through the two.
They then all heard a thump coming out from behind them and they all turned around and spotted Lloyd, who now looked the same as ever, but this time, he had emerald green wings that stretched out from behind them, that suddenly folded into the back of his torn gi, and disappeared.
“Lloyd!” Arin yelled, and he and Sora ran and hugged Lloyd close to them.
Lloyd let out a tired sigh as he wrapped his arms around the two. Nya and Kai walked up and smacked him on the head.
“Ow! What was that for?!” Lloyd shouted, letting go of the two laughing teenagers in order to hold his head.
“You scared these two half to death! Maybe don’t jump off a cliff without giving a warning that you can fly.” Kai scolded his little brother as Lloyd scowled, but Lloyd couldn’t bring himself to argue with Kai.
As long as they were safe and together, Lloyd would forever put his life on the line in order to protect them.
