Chapter 1: Wake Up

Drip
Drip
Drip
…
“Ughhhh…” Stars’ head was throbbing - it felt like someone had just smashed him on the ground. Putting a hand to his head, he sat up slowly, wincing as the light hit his eyes. He asked groggily, “Where am I?”
“You’re currently on planet Ursa 5.”
Stars nearly jumped out of his skin. He hadn’t expected another person to be watching him while he was unconscious… how embarrassing. “Who-” turning around, Stars came face-to-face with a girl. Who was green.
“Ah. Hello? Who-”
“You have already said the word ‘who’ twice now, but no matter. I am Green Pearl. I am here to help you get settled in.” As she said it, she gave him a look of distaste.
“Settled in?”
“Yes. Settled in. You will likely be staying here for a very long time. I have been given orders to tend to any and all of your needs as long as that does not involve you leaving the plant.”
Plant? What?
Now that Stars was no longer disoriented and could take in his surroundings and situation, he could properly gawk in confusion.
First of all, the forest surrounding him was various shades of blue and purple. The leaves were a light blue, the grass a darker shade of such. The trunks of the trees a lilac shade that complimented the rest of the forest.
Secondly - Green Pearl was oddly familiar. Stars couldn’t figure out why.
Third and foremost - Stars couldn’t remember a fucking thing about himself outside his name.
His stomach growled just then. When was the last time he’d eaten?
“Hey…” Stars warily faced Green Pearl once again. “Do you happen to have any food?”
Green (he was just going to call her Green) tilted her head in a questioning manner. “What do you mean by food?”
“Like apples or bread, meat maybe.” Stars willed himself not to drool at the mental image. “Something you consume to get energy and not… you know, die.” Stars got to his feet and dusted himself off.
Green was short, Stars noticed. Stars was about a foot taller than her. Now that Stars had a closer look at her, he realized - Green was green. Like, everything about her was green. Her skin was light green. Her eyes were a green that reminded him of mods. Her dark green hair was tied back in a braid that ended at her ankles. Holy shit her hair is long.
Her dark green dress (the color of which was forest-like to Stars) went down to her knees, a lime-colored belt wrapped around her waist. The sleeves of the dress were a a slightly lighter shade of green compared to the rest of the dress. She was barefoot, but Stars was pretty sure that if she had shoes they’d be green as well.
“I believe that I have something that could help. If you would follow me please.” They started walking west in silence.
“If you don’t mind me asking Green but how did I get here exactly?”
Not turning around Green answered, “White Pearl brought you here yesterday around 32:54. It is currently 5:26.”
Stars choked on air. He couldn’t have just heard that right. “What- what? What do you mean 32:54? There aren’t 33 hours in a day!”
“There are actually 36 hours in a day on this planet.” Green responded.
They kept moving for about 10 or so minutes until they came upon a huge castle-like structure. It was blindingly pink and red, with over a dozen windows.
The only entrance was a large door about 5 times the size of Stars. The only visible color that wasn’t pink or red was a large diamond-shaped insignia with the colors white, blue, yellow, and pink, all outlined with a black border.
“What is this place?” Stars asked, his voice tinted with wonder. This place felt familiar somehow… but it was off. Not quite right.
“This is the Magenta Palace. It is your home, Pink Diamond,” Green said, taking a bow.
Who the fuck is Pink Diamond?
“Uh…” Stars scratched the back of his neck, feeling uncertain. Would something happen to him if he said he wasn’t this Pink Diamond? “I’m not Pink Diamond. I’m Stars. I’m sorry, but you’ve got the wrong person.”
Green just chuckled and went to open the door. “You’re quite odd. You say you want to be called Stars? Alright, then. Well, Stars, I can assure you that whether you believe it or not, this is all yours. Now come with me and we can get you some… ‘food’,as you call it.”
Stars wanted to argue but didn’t really have the energy to do so.
He’d have to ask a LOT of questions later.
But first food.
Chapter 2: I don’t remember a lot but I’m pretty sure that bananas aren’t supposed to be pink

Right, Right, Left, 3d staircase on the left, Straight, Left, Right…
Star gave up sometime 10 minutes ago on trying to keep track of the path they took. Instead just trying to look around and keep up with green.
The floor of the castle was a deep purple the wall a light pink, the doors a dark pink. There was thin baby pink glass windows that tinted the world outside.
On some of the walls were murals. Some only a a foot or two long others going from floor to ceiling. Some of the smaller ones were of people that looked like green except there colors were all different. One blue, one yellow, one pink , and one white.
All were wielding spears, there hands were crossed over there body’s were there hands forming diamonds. The fingers of there right hands holding the spears at an angle. They faced forward their faces perfectly black.
Star paused at when he got to white for just a second. Something drawing him to it. But they weren’t quite sure what. They only got a second before Green was calling him to fallow.
Whites face was black like the others but something about it felt wrong. Oh so wrong.
Star kept walking forget about white after his stomach grumbled.
The pare came upon a large dark pink double doors the griming being a deep forest green. The handles were ornate with four diamonds engraved into the gold.
Opening the doors revealed an open room probably 40 feet tall and twice as long. Large stained glass window lined the back wall. Yellows, blues, pinks, and whites scattered across.
A table in the center of the room with four chairs. A vanity in one corner the mirror a large diamond. (Star couldn’t help but wonder why the mirror wasn’t broken.) a shelf with little trinkets scattered everywhere in another corner.
Everything but the windows and door frame were some shade of pink.
“This is your room Star. If you need anything just ask me. I am at your service while you’re here. But I’ll let you get settled in for know.”
Green went to turn away but Start still had more questions for her. “Wait.”
Green turned to face him again. “I’m hungry. Is there any food a could have please?”
Green tilted her head to one side seeming to ponder the question. “I’m not sure what you mean by foo.”
Like the thing you put in your mouth chew up and swallow. You know that stuff.”
“Ah.” Green knotted in understanding. “I think I know what you’re referring to. One moment while I retrieve your food.”
Star decided to site at the table while he waited. “I have brought you the food you have requested.”
Green said opening the door and proudly carrying a tray of something. Star couldn’t tell what with the lid covering it. Setting it down with a theatrical bow she proudly lifted the lid with enough zealous to kill an elephant.
Only to reveal…
“Why are the bananas pink?”
And they were. On the tray were 3 pink bananas, a cut of dark pink berries (they look like miss colored blue berries), pink strawberries (in and of itself that wouldn’t be a problem it was the fact that they were NEON pink leaves and all), and last but certainly not least was the babe pink mango in the very center of the display.
Green looked surprised by the question. “What do you mean. There supposed to be pink? Why would you like something else?”
Star was blanking on a response. He was positive that the things in front of him were not supposed to be the colors they were. But he didn’t really remember much of anything past a few hours ago so… he could always be wrong.
Star shook his head slowly. “No this is fine. I was just surprised.” He took one of the bananas hesitantly pealing it (the edible part was the same babe pink at the mango) star took a breath, hoped that he wasn’t about to eat poison and bit down.
Sweet. It was soooo dame sweet. Star loved it. He finished all three of the bananas in the blink of an eye. He hadn’t even realized how good they were till they were gone. He was a little disappointed but didn’t linger on the
feeling as he reached for the berries.
He was stoped by Green grabbing his wrist. He looked up at her confused. “What are you doing exactly Star?” Green ask looking a little disturb.
“I’m eating that’s why I asked for the food. Why did you think I ask for it?” Green opened her mouth to say something but seamed to think better of it before smiling heartily and letting go of Star.
“I don’t know though you might just be curious about the items.”
Star shrugged and went back to eating. The berries were sour but still delicious. The strawberries were bitter and his least favorite. And the mango was spicy and Star began to ask for water.
He regretted that just slightly when all it did was make the spice get stronger. But he needed a drink anyway so not a waste.
Star turned back to Green how looked like she just looked behind the couch and didn’t like what she’d found. “So I have some questions for you Green.”
“Yes. Well if you don’t mind I would like to answer them in the morning when I have hopefully gotten that image of what just did out of my head if you don’t mind.”
Greens eyes widened as soon at the words left her mouth. Slapping a hand over her mouth she feel to her knees her forehead to the floor and her hands out in front of her making the same diamond shape with her hands as the look a likes of her hand in the murals except he hand were above her head.
She was quivering spouting apologies a million miles a minute. “I’m sorry Star. I’ll answer any and all questions you have for me. All you have to do is ask. I’m so sorry for my impertinence.”
“Wow wow wow. Stop! What are you doing? Hey stop look at me I’m not going to hurt you. Green.”
Green stopped as quickly as she had begun lifting her head just enough to look at Star but made no move to get up.
“What- why are you apologizing. All you’d done was ask a question?”
“But I’m not supposed to ask questions I’m supposed to listen to my master at all times.”
“Green I’m not your master. You shouldn’t even have one in the first place. Come on get up know Green. Please.”
Green took a steady breath before getting to her feet. She stayed quite looking at Star so the confusion but also hope. “Your not punishing me?” And didn’t that question make Star want to kill someone. Who the fuck had hurt this girl?
“No I'm not going to hurt you Green. And hey if you want to go to bed and do the questions later then that’s perfectly fine.”
Green still look a little shell shocked but didn’t argue. Just going to grab the tray and lid from the table. Star didn’t stop her. He didn’t think she would handle it very well. She turned away from Star and before she had left he called out to her.
“Good night Green.” She just nodded and left.
Star was left know just sitting alone at the table pondering the day’s events. He climbed up onto the table (it was like 15 feet long) laying down on it. He shifted around trying to get comfortable finally laying on his side facing the windows.
He let out a sigh knowing he had a lot to do tomorrow. Figure out what was up with Green. Get answers about this planet. Find out more about how he got there. Extra, extra. He counted the stars in the sky he got to 259 before drifting off for the night.
