As the teacher was talking about something about color theory, Toey was thinking about how he and Q had been dating for a week and still hadn’t gone on a date yet.
“Toey are you paying attention” Matt asked.
“Is it weird that me and Q haven’t gone on a date yet?” Toey says with a frown.
“Well, have you asked him?” Matt states.
“Hmm no but he hasn’t either” Toey replies
“Remember y'all are dating now you don’t need to be scared of him” Matt says
“Your right I am going to ask him out bye see you later” Toey says as he gathers his stuff to go to Q's classroom. (Class is finished he didn’t just walk out)
As Toey walks to the room he tells himself Just ask him if he wants to get lunch and watch the sunset, you got this. When he enters the room, he notices that Q is the only one in there and just sitting on the stool in front of his painting.
“Hi P’Q” Toey says with a smile as he approaches Q
“Hey Toey what are you doing here” Q replied with the smile that is only reserved for his special someone
“I…I waswonderingifwithyouwantedtogoonadate” Toey said quickly and looking at the ground
“Hunn one more time” Q says confused by Toey actions
“I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date” Toey said with all the courage he had
“Sure, what did you have in mind” Q says like it was the most obvious answer
“Do you want to get lunch and watch the sunset in the park” Toey says using his puppy dog eye knowing that he couldn’t resist them
Q just nodded and got up from the stool and gave Toey a sniff kiss, one on the top of his head and one on his cheek and he interlocked their hands as walked out the door and headed to the canteen.
“What do you want for lunch I will get for you, and you can get our drinks and us a table” Q asked
“Humm, I want Kai palo” Toey says and Q just nodded
While Q goes to get food, Toey stops by the drink stand to get two bottles of water, then looks to find an empty table. As Toey is patiently waiting for Q to get back. Toey hears someone call his name which brings him back to reality.
“Toey what are you doing here?” Chain asked. Like on cue Q comes back carrying their lunch
“Me and Q are having lunch then we are going to watch the sunset” Toey says
“Ok well have fun but not too much fun” Chain says with a winked and walked away. If Q noticed Toey's ears getting red, he didn’t say anything and started eating his chicken and rice.
When they finished eating, they got up and threw their trash away and headed to the parking lot where Q's moped (electric bike scooter thing). When they got there, Toey started getting nervous; he has never been on one before. Q noticed that he was getting a little antsy and told him “Don’t be scared I got you” hoping to calm his nerves. Q put the helmet on Toey and made sure it fit right. When they actually hopped on the bike Q grabbed Toey arms and put them around and said, “Make sure you hold on tight” and Toey just nodded in understanding and put head on Q's shoulder
When they got to the park, Q turned the bike off and they both hopped off and put the helmets around the mirrors. As they made their way to find the perfect spot by the pond so they could watch the ducks. Q Suddenly grabbed Toey's hand to interlock their fingers then gave a quick smile then proceeded like nothing happened. When they finally found a spot, they liked “I didn’t even think about bringing a blanket or something to sit on” Toey whined “it's fine you can sit on my jacket, and I'll sit on the grass” Q stated. Q took off his jacket and laid it on the grass then patted the top to get Toey to sit down. When Toey sat down beside Q, he placed his pinky on top of Q hand and waited until Q got the hint and interlocked his pinky with his (They are holding pinkies). It was crazy how they could talk about everything and nothing and can have an amazing time just in each other's presence.
“Hey Toey I have to tell you something” Q said a little nervous
“What is it” Toey says
“I love you” Q says feeling his heart pounding in his chest
“I love you too” Toey says with a smile
As they just stare at each other they aren’t sure who leaned in first, but they shared a small and sweet kiss. When they pull away, they just look at each other like nothing else matters in the world. “Since it is starting to get dark, do you want to stay and watch the stars before I drop you off?” Q asked. “Sure, but can we lay down my butt is starting to hurt,” Toey replied. Q laid down first with his left arm straight so Toey could lay his head on his arm. Toey thought to himself This was perfect I can’t wait many more dates with the love of my life.
