Chapter 1: Pansa and Pattranite

Chapter Text

“MILK!!”

It’s early in the morning yet there’s definitely no ‘good’ in her morning as Milk starts her day with the yell of the spoiled 18 year old blonde brat that should be matured enough to do her own thing before going to school.

“Can you please hurry up? I’ll be late for my class!” the same girl who in her casual uniform looking at Milk who just coming down the stairs.

What’s more funny in Milk’s mind is that they don’t even go to class together as she rides her own motorbike to school while the other girl was driven to school by her driver.

“Here you go Ms. Love” said Milk as she gives Love’s things and opens the car door for her.

“Can you address me properly, Milk?” the brat — in Milk’s mind — said

“I’m sorry, Princess Love” satisfied with Milk’s answer, Love smugly smiled — knowing she wins, and finally went inside the car.

That annoying smile.

As Milk closes the door, a middle aged man in his suit, Mr. Som — Love’s personal driver, approached her, “Ms. Milk, why don’t you join us today?”

“It’s okay Mr. Som, I’ll take my motorbike today. Take care on your way to school.” Milk said as she bowed on the man and proceeding to the garage where she parked her bike.

Milk Pansa, currently in her supposedly peaceful college days, not until her father delivered a news few nights before.

“Milk, by next week you’ll be living with Mr. Pattranite’s daughter. Please prepare your things.”

Milk, still in trance and trying to process what her Father said, asks “Why next week? What about school?”

“Don’t worry you and Ms. Pattranite attends on the same school” her Father replies.

‘Oh, that’s why you eagerly suggested that school’ she can only sigh in defeat as she knows there’s no way she can argue with her Father when it comes to this topic.

Pansa’s bloodline have been serving the Pattranites for generations up until the previous generations where the Fort Pattranite - Love’s great grandfather offered my great grandfather, Gin Pansa - as his business partner. And now, as a gratitude, one in every generation will be serving the Pattranite and now’s was my turn.

“Okay Father.”

Looking back, Milk knew she doesn’t have a choice - like it was her fate to meet one of the Pattranites but what she always wonder why does have to be Love Pattranite, a person with a personality that is very different with her name. She doesn’t know if she did something bad in her past lives to be suffering a life with a spoiled brat.

Milk parked her motorbike and saw a familiar car approaching the entrance gate of their school, knowing that the Princess arrived, she continued walking to her class. Remembering what Love said to her when she entered their household. Rule 1, and the only rule: No talking to me at school.

Hmp, like I want to.

“It’s very early in the morning, what’s with your mood? Was it about you precious princess?” a tall brunette girl, Namtan, a friend from high school and the only person who knows Milk’s situation, approached her as she enter the class.

“Please, no mentioning of anything related to that girl” she pleaded whinch made Namtan laugh to her seat. “Okay, okay”

———
The day passed quickly but not quickly enough as she saw Love in the cafeteria during lunch. Milk, being in the Film department and Love in the Business Administration department, their building is a bit further away from each other, so she’s wondering why does she have to see her in school. But knowing she doesn’t have a choice, Milk just sigh in defeat and proceed in getting a meal.

She’s alone now since Namtan needed to go somewhere. While looking for an empty seat, Milk felt a gaze on her but when she looked around no one’s looking. Maybe it was just my imagination.

Her not so peaceful lunch was interrupted when the unexpected person, Love, approached her table. What happened to rule 1?

“Looks like you’re still lonely even during lunch.”

Looking up to her, Milk rebuts, “What do you need?” then clarifies, “I thought we’re not talking to school.”

“Accompany me after class, I need to buy something to the mall.” Love said to the taller girl. Without missing a beat, she continued, “Don’t worry about your bike, just park it in the school’s basement parking under my name and they’ll let you.”

And for the nth time, Milk just sighed in defeat and answered, “Okay”

“Then, I’ll see you later.” Love smiled as she went out the cafeteria. Again, with that smile.

This will be a long day.
