(It was a normal day for Danny. No ghosts have attacked, his grades were...meh?, he was actually able to get 7 minutes of sleep. Everything was going great. But alas, that couldn’t last forever. Why? It’s MONDAY and NOTHING good comes from that horrid day. And just to fit Danny’s luck)
“Class, sit down. ” Lancer said tiredly. He began discussing a book and realized...no one gave a fuck. “Since you all would rather not listen to lecture.” Lander said, “You will all be writing a 10 sentence research essay” The class groaned in annoyance.
“Greaatttt” Danny groaned out
“Come on Mr. Lancer!” Kwan yelled, slamming his head onto the table
“Ew, that would ruin my nails!” Star and Paulina whined while doing their nails.
“I have football after this! I don’t have time to do this stupid essay” Dash grumbled, banging the table
“Great Gatsby! Let me finish.” Lancer yelled, as tired as fuck. “You need to write an essay about Ghosts.”
(The minute that word was said, the class was much more willing to do it.)
“And! those reports will be given to me and those reports will decide where you will sit in the bus during the fieldtrip” Lancer stated.
“Um, Mr Lancer? Where will we be going? you never told us” Mikey asked nervously.
“Yes, umm we will be going to the ghost zone. Courtesy of Maddie and Jack Fenton.” Lancer answered.
“Won’t that be hazardous and dangerous?” questioned Wes, who was unsure of the safety and practicality of this “field trip”
“Don’t worry, Wes. Our mayor, Vladimir Masters, has agreed and stated that this will be a perfect and educational way to learn about the monsters that haunt our beloved town.”
(Cheers erupted from Wes, Mikey, Dash, Star, Kwan, Valerie and of course Paulina. The main reason for their cheers is getting to see Danny Phantom and since it’s approved by the
mayor, it was safe!)
‘I get to see Danny Phantom!! Maybe if I seduce him, I can be his girlfriend! Then I’ll be the most popular girl in all of Amity Park!’ Paulina thought.
‘If I help Paulina become Danny Phantom’s girlfriend, then I’ll forever be her bestie and she’ll never replace me!’ Star thought.
‘Sweet! I’ll get to meet Phantom! He’s my hero! Maybe he and I could be friends! And we could play football together!’ Dash thought.
‘Wow! The ghost zone! I bet this will be fun!’ Kwan thought.
‘Yes, now I can finally end Danny Phantom. I can finally get my revenge on him for what he did. I’ll just need to sneak my weapons into the vehicle’ Valerie thought.
‘This is the perfect opportunity to prove my theories! Danny is Danny Phantom and I can finally prove it using this trip’ Wes thought.
“Yay! I can fill my notebook with more ghost theories! I wonder what ectoplasm is made of? How do ghosts make things? Are their ghost shops? Ghost food? Oh this is the best” Mikey thought.
(Meanwhile in the suffering corner)
“Great. This is just what I needed today.” Danny groaned.
“At least we can check on the ghost zone?” Tucker inquired.
“Yeah, I guess” Danny reluctantly agreed
“I’m not surprised that Vlad agreed to this” Sam said
“Yeah, he’ll do anything to win over Danny’s mom” Tucker added
“Yeah but now it’s not just my mom” Danny groaned.
“WHAT?!” Sam and Tucker yelled.
(Everyone stared at them.)
“Care to share with the class? Mister Fenton, Mister Foley and Miss Manson?
“Ummm” The three of them looked at each other and shook their heads.
“Sorry Mr. Lancer” The three said
“I should give you detention but thank the Chronicles of Narnia that I don’t have time today. I’m letting you off the hook this time. Just, for the love of Moby Dick, don’t do it again.” Lancer
said and went back to his lecture, causing everyone to ignore the trio.
“Let’s talk at recess?” Sam asked
“Yeah/Sure” Tucker and Danny agreed.
"By the way, if the parents so wish, they can come" Lancer said and then all of hell broke loose.
“WHAT?!” The entire class screamed.
“Why would you allow that?!”
“Oh come on!”
“That just sucks the life outta this trip”
“At least we’re safe?”
“Shut up Mikey”
“Oh hell no”
“We are screwed”
“That’s it! if there is a god, Please have him take me!”
“SILENCE!” Lancer shouted. He couldn’t deal with this at this hour
(Everyone shut their mouths)
“This is purely up to the parent. This is also for safety measures in case the parents want to make sure you’re extra safe” Lancer clarified
“I thought the Mayor approved it?” Mikey asked, fixing his glasses
“He did. This is just a counter measure” Lancer clarified
(Everyone breathed a sigh of relief...except a certain trio who looked like they were white as snow and chalk)
“Now please turn your pages to page-” Lancer was interrupted by the sound of the bell. Which meant literally everyone bolted out of the class and went to recess.
“Oh Pride and Prejudice!” Lancer exclaimed
(At recess, everyone was humming and drumming about the upcoming field trip...except for a certain trio)
“So our pain just got increased, Yayyy” Danny sassed, while poking at his food
“So what’s the plan?” Sam inquired, , after drinking a glass of water.
“There’s three ideas.” Tucker answered, while stuffing his face with food.
“Which is?” Danny and Sam said.
“1. we either tell-” Tucker was cut off by the duo who immediately screamed
“NO!”
(The entire cafeteria looked at them as if they’ve grown 4 heads)
“Sorry.” Both apologized and sat down.
“What’s option 2?” Danny asked, while eating his burger
“We don’t use them at all” Tucker answered.
“Well that option can’t be used because that is going to get really hard really quick” Sam added.
“What’s option 3?” Danny asked again, hoping for it to be a good option
“Sam does magic?” Tucker replied, although his tone was questioning and unsure
“Sam?” Danny asked and looked at her, silently pleading she has a spell for this.
“Well...” Sam trailed on, putting her burger down
“Well?” Danny and Tucker asked, with their eyes filled with hope that she’s got something
“There is one spell. It’s called Karma’s spell. It can give someone or some people good luck or what they want for a specific period of time” Sam stated.
(Danny and Tucker cheered loudly, causing everyone to look at them.)
“Sorry,” They both apologized
“But there’s a catch” Sam added
“Oh come on!” Danny groaned
“It can’t be that bad?” Tucker inquired
“The catch is that you get bad luck with a doubled time. Like if you asked for perfect hair for a week, you’ll have bad hair for two weeks. The spell also keeps the caster alive until after the spell is done. So example if you have a good hair week and then get shot, the spell keeps you alive until your two week bad hair day is done. And you can’t get healed or anything when Karma’s spell is in use.” Sam stated, causing Tucker and Danny to groan
“So if we put them through heaven for the field trip, they’ll go through hell times two after?” Tucker asked, which Sam answered yes.
“This is just great, downright amazing!” Danny sassed. “So our only option is to somehow keep the class and secret safe.” Danny inquired
“Yep.” Sam confirmed while popping the p.
“Let’s just hope all of hell doesn’t break” Tucker stated, completely jinxing this whole thing.
