I'm (unwillingly) Still Standing

Summary:

Was Noah upset when he got eliminated after calling Alejandro out? No, He knew it was coming, He knew he didn't have a chance in winning.

That was at least until Noah got his second chance, Not in the game, of course, Chris wanted him as his assistant again.

the original writer of this fic is NoahCue on tumblr and ao3 who you should definitely go support given that they wrote the first 2 chapters of this fic

Notes:

originally I was planning on rewriting the chapters but then i realized that i had to treat my carpal tunnel due to me not properly taking care of my wrist from drawing and on top of that my wrist has been hurting like a bitch

But the original creator is NoahCue on ao3 and tumbler

my thought process for continuing this fic was *completely* self indulgent and i loved this idea and the characters personalities but very quickly learned that this fic was discontinued so my very tired brain thought "hey I'm literate for my age ;wait wdym i actually have to learn how to properly do this first, fuck that" and so this fic was continued

another reason i decided to take on this challenge is because i have been itching to make a comic, but then i realized i needed an actual story before i even hesitated to make a piece of media that involved drawing And storytelling

please excuse my rambling this habit unfortunately follows me to my writing as well

Chapter Text

Noah wasn't mad when he got eliminated, sure, he was a little upset at the fact his own team didn't believe him when he called Alejandro out, He knew since the beginning he didn't have a chance, He just didn't show it.

Noah knew he wasn't exactly a 'Fan favorite",

he knew the game was rigged ever since Duncan re-joined, Duncan was a fan favorite after all. And it would be 'good for ratings', of course.

that's all that bastard McLean ever cared about, the ratings.

So, why was Noah currently pissed off?

Blaineley, for some reason, insisted that Noah came with her.

...

Not to long after, he figured out that it wasn't Blaineley who wanted him back on the show, because, why would she?

it was none other than Chris McLean,

Noah was given an opportunity.

No, not to have a chance in the game again,

to be Chris's assistant again.

...

The pros just happend to outweigh the cons.

1. Noah would be able to see his buddy Owen again.

2. He could watch the remaining contests drop like dead flies out of the competition.

3. Chris said that Noah might even be able to do a little bit of rigging of his own.

How could Noah resist that amazing once in a lifetime offer?

Of course, that meant dealing with Chris AND Chef, They were like a bundle deal after all.

an overly obnoxious bundle, but still a deal none of the less.

Their faces.

That was the best part.

After Blaineley finished her song, Noah 'Just happend' to be pushing the slot machine with Chef, Noah had to unfortunately wear a matching dress but that didn't matter.

Their faced were priceless to see,

Owens excitement,

Alejandros fear,

Duncan's surprise,

Well, everyone's surprise,

And..Heathers smugness.?? No, happiness?? Noah couldn't pinpoint if Heather had malicious intent or not, you could never tell with that snake, just like how you could never tell with that eel.

'Heather and Alejandro are really made for eachother, aren't they?' Noah thought as he pushed the slot machine alongside Chef,

Noah was in a dark blue dress, No sleeves, high collar, the skirt of the dress went all the way to his ankles, white gloves, a probably fake diamond necklace, and clip on earrings.

Finally when the slot machine was pushed far enough on stage, Chef and him stopped pushing.

Chef went backstage was Chris motioned for Noah to stand near him.

Once again,

Their faces were priceless.
