Total Drama All-Stars: Reboot

Summary:

It's time for another Season of horrors for these old and new contestants. Chris has brought back Generations 1 and 4 to battle it out for a large cash prize that none of them could refuse. Or... at least some of them did. A lot, actually, but we've got some fan favourites this time. Who will crack under the pressure? All of them, probably. But it's all about who cracks last, and comes out on top as the ultimate All-Star!

Notes:

AHHH. I'm so nervous to post this. I have commitment issues so I don't know if I'll be able to finish this work at all, but I managed to write this chapter in like 2 weeks. I did have a lot of free time, to be fair, so I'm not sure about it.

I've never written such a big project, and I've never really posted much at all, actually. I do accept criticism, so if possible, please give it to me. I'm just a teenager who watches a silly cartoon and writes about it. If anyone is OOC, I apologize, I don't know entirely how to write some people, but I'll try my best. I also try and dish out screen time to everyone fairly.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

The scene opens with Chris standing in the middle of a field. He was holding a phone to his ear, quietly having a conversation before turning towards the camera and smirking like he always does.

There was nothing in the surrounding area apart from the grass that covered the floor and the clear blue sky that was directly behind Chris.

“Well, we’re back in Action, boys!” He announces enthusiastically while putting his phone in his pocket. “It’s time for an all-new season of Total Drama! And this one is both new and old, with a bunch of cool twists for you to enjoy!” Chris gestures up to the sky, adopting a devious grin instead of his current expression.

“As you all know, we’ve had several airings of this show. Some did well, like our original island season. And some... not so well . Like our All-Stars season.” Chris’ expression quickly turns sour, and he lets out a groan. “...which I thought would do well. But hopefully the second time’s the charm!”

He quickly becomes enthusiastic again, putting on his entertainer voice.

“Since we’ve had 1 whole new rebooted cast since our last season, it’s about time we had some of them battle to the death-” Chris is quickly cut off by who is a manager, whispering into his ear before Chris rolls his eyes. “Typical. Not to the death, but for a cash prize as usual. And to up the stakes, we’ve made it 5 mil this year.”

He pauses, looking off to the side of the camera. “It was also to convince them to come back, but it’s still a whole new season of fun!”

The camera zooms out, showing that the lovely scenery Chris had been standing in was simply a prop piece, that only fit the corner of the camera now. Beside the board is an even larger TV screen, turning on and showing the logos of 2 different seasons. The Original ‘Total Drama Island’ logo and the rebooted ‘Total Drama Island’ logo.

“We’ve analyzed what the audience want this time. This season is for you, for the perfect viewing experience!” The TV screen highlights the first logo, which is the original ‘Total Drama Island’ logo.

“We released a poll, asking you all who your favorite characters from our original cast and reboot season were! Most of which will be debuting on your screen. The others simply said no.”

The screen fades to black, before 9 silhouettes of people appear.

“From our Gen 1 cast, the most popular rated contestants were...”

Before Chris could announce the name, the penetrating sound of a car engine could be heard in the background. In the distance, a lavish black car drove into one of the parking lots. It stopped in the closest space, and an average-height woman exited the car.

She had her long, black hair down in a ponytail and had a distasteful frown on her face. The woman was wearing rainforest-green tights and sported a salmon crop-top with some pink heels to match them. She had a gap in her teeth, though it wasn’t noticeable unless she had her mouth open.

“Can’t believe I’m back for another season of this BS.”

“...Heather. Nice to have you back with us.” Chris said awkwardly yet had a knowing smirk.

“Spare the chit-chat Chris. Just because it’s been over a decade doesn’t mean I’ve started liking you. Now move.” Heather just walks past him, trailing a suitcase behind her and flipping her hair behind her back to prove that she doesn’t care.

Chris once again goes to announce the next contestant but is interrupted by a vehicle entering the parking lot. This time a bus.

“Perfect timing! Next on the popular contestants list is... Noah?” Chris looks back at the screen as it shows a photo of Noah, with a surprised expression.

When the man in question walked out of the bus, he also had a fresh look to him like Heather. He was 2 inches taller, for one, and instead of his typical outfit he was wearing blue jeans and a blue and white T-shirt.

He took in his surroundings, grumbling to himself.

“How original. This is just the set for Season 2.” Noah said, looking behind Chris, who quickly placed his hand over the man’s mouth to shut him up.

“Don’t ruin the surprise! I’ll talk about it once everyone gets here.” he exclaims, placing his hands on Noah’s shoulders and walking him over to where Heather was standing with her arms crossed.

“How are you one of the most popular contestants from our season? As much as I hate to admit it, I thought it would be Gwen or Leshawna or something.” she says with a curious tone, placing her hands on her hips and looking down at the shorter boy.

“Beats me. Not sure how you got so many fans with how you treat people.” he replies in a monotone voice. Heather would usually clap back, but she didn’t want to make an enemy in the first minute. Also, he wasn’t wrong.

Just as Noah finishes his sentence, the next 2 contestants walk out of the bus.

One of them had long, dyed-blonde hair with quite a lot of makeup on her face. She was wearing some red heart-shaped sunglasses on her head and had a small dog-sized purse around her shoulder. As for her outfit, it was entirely the same as when she originally competed, except for her new jewelry around her neck.

As for the other one, he had smooth brown hair that was styled like a short mullet and had a hairpin in his hair that was colored orange and red. He wore a tight red tracksuit from shoulder to ankle, though there were the occasional white strips that made him stand out. He was also carrying a large duffel back over his shoulder.

Both wore rings on their ring finger.

“Lindsay and Tyler! It’s been a while.” Chris says with disinterest.

“Oh, wow! Look Tyler, it’s Kyle!” The blonde says to the man in question, smiling brightly. As much as he loves her smile, he can’t help but find the lack of intelligence endearing.

“That’s right, Chr- Kyle!” He says with a determined expression, also wanting to not disappoint Lindsay. “We’re here to win this time!” He raises his fists into the air, making his duffel bag tip backwards and send him crashing to the ground.

Noah smirks from behind, whereas Lindsay pulls him up to his feet and examines his body for any bruises. When she finds none, she smiles again and takes ahold of his hand, walking over to the other 2 soon-to-be contestants.

“I swear I’ve been here before...” Lindsay mutters to herself, looking at the large fake buildings.

Confessional (Heather) : “Tyler? Ugh. I’d understand Lindsay, but how on earth are Noah and Tyler some of the most popular? Whatever. Elimination fodder is just what I needed anyway.”

“Our next Gen 1 contestants competing are...”

Out of the bus walks an averagely sized man, with quite some arm on him. At least compared to the last time people saw him. The man had a plain white t-shirt and a dark blue blazer on top. For his lower half he had professional trousers which seemed slightly baggy on the man. He had his short, ginger hair tied up into a man bun.

“...Harold!”

Right behind him is a large, flamboyant dark-skinned woman. She was wearing a luxurious, beige blouse, covering her entire torso, and stretching down to knee-level. It had a few sparkles covering the top, but it wasn’t very visible. Underneath she had a red crop-top that covered her chest and blue shorts.

“...Leshawna!”

And the final person exiting the bus looked... nothing different than before. Same white shirt. Same maple leaf. Same large man.

“...And Owen!”

The 3 contestants stood side-by-side while taking in their surroundings just like their fellow contestants. Harold and Owen looked ecstatic to be here, their minds only able to focus on the fact that they could win a giant prize by competing. Though Leshawna just looked skeptical.

“Why are we back here? I’m not doing all that movie shit again. No way.” She begins to get annoyed with the host before he shushes her and places a hand behind his back.

“Relax, sister. Keep the language to a minimum. We’re all adults here, but this is still a show for kids. I’ll explain the rules of this season once we have everyone here. Now stand with your seasonal companions.” Chris gestures over to the others, to which Leshawna, Harold and Owen all walk to them.

Confessional (Leshawna) : “I can curse on this show as much as I damned, please, McLean. What kind of kids enjoy watching us in these torture shows anyway?”

“Hey, Big O, how do you look so young?” Tyler asks from behind, taking in the appearance of the large man.

“Moisturizer. My manager says it makes me look better for the camera.” Owen, without a second thought, grabs ahold of Tyler’s hand and brings it up to his own skin. Tyler just looks surprised. It was smooth.

“You have a manager?” Heather asks, crossing her arms and not believing him at all.

“Don’t you watch TV? Me and Owen compete on reality shows all the time. We have a lot of workers.” Noah says, interrupting Heather much to her annoyance.

“Oh yeah! That’s how Noah met his Wife!” Owen begins speaking, before being interrupted by Noah snapping his fingers in his face.

“She isn’t important right now. Let’s focus on the prize, O.” He says sternly, and Owen just nods his head like an obedient puppy.

Confessional (Owen) : “Noah and Emma are going through a bit of a rough time. Nothing too serious! They’re still happy. But kids are pretty hard.”

Confessional (Leshawna) : “I hate being back here, but at least everyone is more mature. It’ll make competing a little more bearable.

Lindsay looks between everyone else, and notices that everyone looks different apart from Tyler and Owen. Though something major she notices is that one camper looks... vastly different.

“Harry. Did you style your hair differently?” she asks, placing a finger on her chin. The man in question turns towards her, raising an eyebrow. He had an entirely fresh look, with new muscles and a new outfit to show off, and she pointed out his hair? It’s the most minor change.

“Total Drama was just holding me back. I’ve done a lot better in life since then.” To this Leshawna turns to him, placing her hands on her hips sassily.

“Then why did you come back?”

“I wasn’t going to say no to 5 million dollars. I may have got bank, but I don’t own a bank.”

Confessional (Harold) : “I do also spend a lot of time on social media since it’s become more popular now. Gotta fit in with the kids, you know? It was also motivating to see a lot of people that wanted me to win Total Drama Action. No way I can lose!”

Chris smiles even more, just waiting for conflict to arise between the others. He then speaks up suddenly, making Harold flinch.

“Well! It’s time we met some of your other lovely competitors. You all remember your favorite crazy girl, right?” He says with a cheeky grin. He managed to elicit mostly groans from the people who were paying attention, though he did earn an excited gasp from Owen and an eyeroll from Leshawna.

Everyone was staring at the bus, expecting her to emerge from inside, though nobody came outside. Owen, feeling disappointed, approached the bus and peeked his head inside.

“Izzy?” He called out, not seeing the curled orange hair he used to love. Instead, someone else was there. A tall, very memorable Spanish man. Owen swooned a little, though he quickly snapped out of it. “You- you’re not Izzy.”

“I can see that.” The man responded, stepping out of the bus with style. He had a red jumper over his torso, with a buttoned-up tee underneath that was of an identical color. He also sported black leather trousers and brown boots that made him appear more stereotypical. He also wore a man-bun, much like Harold's. Despite this, he still has his long, lusciously thick brown hair and half-beard.

People were annoyed that Izzy could come back, but there were even louder groans at the sight of Alejandro. Heather attempted to act indifferent, but it’s not like she could avoid the man forever.

Owen stepped out of the way to let the taller man pass, and he politely walked over to the other contestants he used to fight against.

“Hola, Amigos.” He spoke in a soft tone, trying to win over the other people, hoping they’d forget about what he was really like in his season.

“Don’t try and get all buddy-buddy with us. I haven’t forgotten about World Tour.” Leshawna says with a voice laced with venom.

“That was years ago, Senorita. And it was for the game, it wasn’t personal.” He replies with the same tone, though calmer than Leshawna spoke.

Confessional (Heather) : “Yeah, for a million dollars. I’d be bitter. I mean- I am bitter about All-Stars. But I’m still famous, that got me some money.”

Confessional (Alejandro) : “You may not believe me, but I’m a changed man! I’ve still got a thousand tricks up my sleeve, but I’m not bloodthirsty.”

Just as everyone was getting settled again, another familiar voice appeared from around the corner.

“Hey! Guys! Over here!” Called a high-pitched, enthusiastic voice.

Everyone’s heads turned towards a statue shaped like Chris. There was a groan, followed by the same voice.

“Up.” They all tilted their heads upwards, seeing a girl standing on the very top of the statue. She had attire that screamed ‘Camp Counselor,’ though it didn’t differ from what people remember her wearing. Her usually long, ginger hair was now replaced with the same color, yet now was styled in a high bun, which surprisingly suited her.

She somersaulted forwards, landing directly on her feet and struck a pose as if she was a superhero. She brushed the invisible dust from her semi-skirt, standing up straight and looking around at the scenery. This managed to gain surprised expressions from the other contestants, but especially from the host.

“H-How did you even...” Chris paused, just shaking his head, and looking back at the camera, putting on a smile again. He seemed giddy to get started, but still had a lot more to get through.

“No matter! That’s not even half of the contestants for this season. It’s going to be back to basics, 22 campers!” He gestures up for the hundredth time, walking back over to where the bus is and closing the door. He was masking a grin, making sure nobody saw it as he was turned away.

Many seemed excited. The majority did not.

“Are you bringing back those other people? I’m not dealing with another season of Jo.” Heather piped up, crossing her arms, and giving Chris a harsh glare. The host seemed unphased, getting used to getting glares from contestants after 9 seasons.

“Chillax, Heather.” She rolls her eyes at his comment. “We’ve got a whole new set of cast members for you to have fun with! Owen may know ‘em, but the rest of you, you better hope you’ve watched our latest seasons!”

“Oh! Oh! Is Julia gonna be here? She makes the best cakes in the world!” He begins silently dreaming of having the opportunity to try a Chris cake again, though his thoughts are quickly interrupted by his buddy.

“Julia? I don’t remember seeing a ‘Julia’ on Pahkitew island.” Noah exclaimed, crossing his arms and, again, being interrupted by the loud sound of horns behind him. He turns towards the sound, seeing a second bus approaching the parking lot. It did a terrible job, having parked in 3 spaces.

“Pahkitew was season 6. This is Season 9.” Chris glares again, as if he was offended that some people weren’t watching the new season, he worked incredibly hard to make it.

“We’ve got 12 contestants here from our reboot season. So, if the 4 people who aren’t here were some of your favorites, well, sucks to be you.” He just laughs to himself, quickly knocking on the bus door, to which it opens and reveals the first contestant exiting the vehicle.

“Our most popular reboot contestant...” His voice trails off. “... for some reason, is Damien!”

To this, the boy in question exits the bus with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. He was excited to be participating in this new season. He hadn’t the faintest idea of what this season was going to be like or bring to the table, but he knew that there was a much larger cash prize in store for him.

“Ayo! I’m back for another season, baby!” He announces, earning some interesting looks from the other cast members.

Confessional (Leshawna): “That is a child. A CHILD!? Chris is some kind of messed up for constantly bringing kids onto this show. But who do I care? Kid seems chill.”

Confessional (Damien) : “After my humiliating loss in both seasons, I really needed to step up my game. So, I’ve watched every other season of Total Drama. Twice. I’m ready this year, baby!”

Damien closed his eyes, then began to strut confidently and stand over nearby the other contestants but was suddenly stopped by a hand in front of where he was walking. He opened his eyes, looking up to see Chris giving him a glare.

“Nuh-uh. Original members on one side, reboot on the other.” Damien just rolled his eyes, going to stand where Chris directed him to go instead.

Confessional (Harold) : “He seems a bit too confident for someone who voted himself off. I watched their seasons, so I know who to avoid and who to make friends with.

After Damien stood in his placement, he turned around and noticed that this place looked surprisingly familiar. He raised an eyebrow, seeing fake buildings everywhere and a tall hill in the distance.

“Hey, isn’t this the set for-”

Shut up !” Chris called out, just getting irritated with everybody already. It had barely been ten minutes, and he was getting fed up with the contestants. “Whatever. Next are two of our beloved reboot finalists, Priya, and Caleb!” At this announcement, the couple walk together out of the bus and smile at each other. Almost immediately after, they look up at Chris and give him an indifferent glare.

Alejandro raised an eyebrow, looking Caleb up and down, irritation covering his expression.

“How has that child got more muscle than me? I’ve been working out since I was 12!” He mutters this to himself, though unluckily for him, the boy standing next to him just smirks.

“Jealous?” Tyler says with a grin.

“You aren’t? Oh yeah, because you ‘like girls,’ of course.” Alejandro claps back, looming over Tyler with a glare. The shorter brunette just rolls his eyes, blushing softly but getting immediately distracted by the face of his wife.

Confessional (Priya) : “I’m not gonna lie, I’m coming into this season a little nervous. Everyone hated me after Season 2 because I got far in both seasons. I don’t want to be a people pleaser, but can you blame me for being good at the game?”

Confessional (Lindsay) : “I never really liked that girl. She was really mean to her boyfriend, and I would never do that to Tyler.”

Caleb sent a wave to Damien, trying to be friendly. He never made any huge connections in the game apart from Priya, despite making it to the finale. Damien didn’t really expect the gesture, but he instead waved back awkwardly and kept to himself.

Before Priya stood next to Damien, she glanced at the other cast members, growing immediately excited. These people were practically her entire childhood, and she couldn’t help but begin smiling at the sight of them.

“Caleb, look! It’s Heather. And Alejandro! A-And Leshawna! And-” She was quickly cut off by a hand on her shoulder.

“I know, I know. You’re excited. Let’s wait until later for greetings, mkay?” She nodded, still not taking her eyes off the other contestants.

Heather shuddered at the unnecessary enthusiasm. She knew she was great, and expected to have some fans, but the last time she knew a Total Drama superfan, it didn’t go down so well. She sent a slight glare over to Priya, really praying she wasn’t on that girls' team.

It didn’t take long for the next two contestants to walk off the bus. Chris turned around to announce them, though he didn’t look happy to see them at all. The shorter one looks the same as her previous seasons, but the taller one had an entirely new hairstyle. She had her hair in a low bun and was also equipped with a headband to keep her hair stable.

“Julia and MK. Welcome back, girls. You ready for another season of fun?” He said, sarcastically using enthusiasm to try and get them excited. The blonde just rolled her eyes, whereas the shorter girl placed her hands on her hips and gave Chris an annoyed stare.

“Yeah, I’m totally excited to have paint balloons thrown at me and be crushed by rocks.” She says with an eyeroll. Noah just snorted at the comment, and Izzy couldn’t help but begin laughing loudly.

Everyone turned their heads towards her, to which she quickly cleared her throat and calmed down.

“Hah, so- sorry.” she says, still giggling.

“I did... not miss any of you.” he says subtly, squinting and groaning.

“You think we missed you ? Get real.” Julia just shoves past Chris, with MK following behind her and up to the other reboot contestants. Both the girls still had a bitter taste left in their mouths after both seasons, so they stayed ever-so-slightly apart when they approached.

Caleb glared at Julia, and she returned the favor, though she had a smirk on her face.

“Nice wig.” Damien sniggers, eyeing her hairdo.

“It’s not a wig. You’re balding at eighteen, I wouldn’t be making comments.” Julia grinned mischievously, and MK looked up at Julia proudly. Damien became wide-eyed, looking to the top of his head nervously, and taking off his cap to see if he was balding. He was not but was now irritated he believed the evil blonde girl so easily.

Heather stared from afar, a curious look on her face.

Confessional (Heather) : “I like those girls. We'll get along well, especially since blondie almost went bald. I don’t care if she’s a psychopath, no girl deserves that punishment.”

Confessional (MK) : “Julia’s going to kill me when she sees this, but that actually is a wig. She wasn’t happy when her hair stylist told her she needed to shave it, or it would become thin. But she is rocking the bun.”

“Well, after that lovely family reunion, it’s time to welcome our favorite reboot trio!” Out of the bus walks a blonde, dark-skinned man with a fist on his hip. He had his typical heart-shaped sunglasses resting on his forehead, and instead of his usual purple crop-top, he was wearing a longer green-blue one.

“Raj, Bowie and Wayne!”

Behind the flamboyant teen was a shorter, brunette one. He had a big smile on his face as he jumped onto the back of the taller boy in front of him.

“Raj, get off! You aren’t light!” He complained teasingly, to which the boy hopped off his back and stood next to him.

“Fine. I’ll carry you instead.” he smirked, picking the blonde up and carrying him over his shoulder. Bowie just groaned, letting his boyfriend have his fun.

Another blonde walked out of the bus behind them, two duffel bags over his shoulder as he stepped.

“Come on, Rajie. He can walk himself.” Wayne said with a smirk to match Raj’s. Raj just rolled his eyes, reluctantly placing his boyfriend back on the floor, and they all just laughed to themselves.

Most of the others watched awkwardly, not knowing how to react to such a public display of affection. Julia faked a gag, making MK chuckle to herself.

Owen, however, was smiling in awe at them.

Confessional (Owen) : “I remember when I and Izzy were like that. Except I wouldn’t carry her because she’d bite me. O-Or when she somehow carried me, she threw me into the water. So... I guess we weren’t like that at all.”

While the trio walked past Chris to stand behind him with the other people, Bowie and Leshawna made eye contact briefly. Leshawna gave him a subtle wave, that Tyler noticed, and Bowie returned the gesture with a wink. The brunette looked between the two, raising an eyebrow. He didn’t really know what the silent conversation meant, but he didn’t question it too hard.

Bowie was also pleasantly surprised with the reactions of the other people. Instead of everyone glaring at him, they were all shooting their dirty looks towards Julia instead. He just smiled, feeling a lot of weight release from his shoulders.

While the hockey bros were conversating with each other, just goofing off as usual and having fun, Priya turned towards them and tapped the blonde on the shoulder.

“So... Wayne. What did you ever do with all that money?” she asked, attempting to make conversation. Like Caleb, she never really made connections with anybody outside of him and Millie, and arguably Damien, and making friends with another Winner wouldn’t exactly hurt her chances at making it far again.

“Oh, well we got that bus like we said we would!” he said enthusiastically, turning towards Priya with a burst of energy. Raj immediately walked forward as well, wanting to enter his input like his counterpart.

“Yeah! Everyone’s been loving it. And we’ve also just been helping everyone in our family out with all their stuff.” he exclaims, smiling.

“Like with your dad and his walking stick!”

Confessional (Priya) : “Okay, I’ve always liked these guys, but how are they so... hyper? I can’t keep up with their conversation.”

Confessional (Raj) : “Wayner’s always loved helping people. He still has a bunch of his money left over, cause we never really know what to do with it, and Bowie said to save up.” He pauses, looking around the room. “Hey, isn’t this the confessional from-” Before he can finish his sentence, Chris bursts into the room and squeezes his lips shut.

“Shut it!” He shouts.

Wayne immediately became distracted from his rambling, looking over at Damien to go and have a light-hearted conversation with him too. Raj just looked over at him, giving him a smile from behind.

From a distance, Noah just had a confused look plastered on his face.

Confessional (Noah) : “How on earth do they get along so well? At least they only seem to be sticking to their own little ‘friendship groups.’”

“Next up, Emma!” Chris announced, making some heads turn towards the bus. Others turned away in awkwardness. She looked the same as her previous seasons, much like the rest of her castmates. Though this time she had a frown on her face, looking away from everybody else awkwardly.

“Hey, everyone.” she says with an awkward wave. She noticed her ex-friend seemed a little uncomfortable at her entrance, though everyone else just nodded. They didn’t dislike Emma, so some of the people there smiled at them. Wayne smiled, waving back at her friendlily and with enthusiasm. That was her queue, and she walked over next to Wayne.

“Heya, Ems.” he said timidly, giving her a soft look. He did feel bad for her. After re-watching both seasons and seeing her treatment from Chase, Bowie, and her team, he didn’t think she deserved to go through that again.

“Ems? Well... yeah, hey.” She gave another awkward response, not having heard the nickname before.

Raj notices her confusion, tapping her on the shoulder.

“Wayner gives everybody a nickname. Just makes it easier to remember.”

“Oh, right. Okay.”

Emma gave another glance at Bowie, hoping he would at least look at her this time. He did, though she couldn’t decipher what he was thinking. His look was pitiful, yet it looked a little bit... empty.

Chris just raised an eyebrow.

“You all did not need to make it that awkward.” he says in a monotone voice, squinting and turning his mouth into a line. Shortly after he immediately sounds enthusiastic again. “Anyway! Onto our next contestants! We have our other favorite crazy, Scary Girl!” Once he finishes his sentence, comically, lightning flashes on the screen as Lauren is shown hopping off the bus. She giggles to herself, not bothering with greetings and just walking to where the other contestants stood.

Confessional (Lauren) : “I haven’t exactly had the best reputation on this game, even when trying to not get voted out. So, I have a... new strategy this time around. But it’s a secret~ ” she says in a sing-song voice.

Everyone shudders, already planning on what their first vote is going to be.

Confessional (Alejandro) : “So in the new cast they have twins, twinks, ‘quirky awkward girls,’ and a human doll? This game is as good as mine.”

Lauren walks over to the very center of the crowd of reboot contestants, as if she was trying to make them nervous on purpose. She glances around at all her fellow competitors, glaring, and thinking intently.

Chris looks over at all the contestants, noting that they were only missing two more of them. He looked over at the bus, not seeing either of them exiting, and just scoffed.

“What is taking so long? We only have 20 minutes for an episode, and we are not spending half of it on introducing everybody again. Just get out here.” Chris storms into the bus, the sound echoing out of the vehicle as he searches for the final participants. When he exits, he has two people by the collars of their shirts.

“This isn’t necessary, Chris. Get o- woah!" The girl begins, before being pushed to the floor by the host. She groans before Priya helps her off the ground.

“Millie! Are you okay?” the girl asks, concerned. Millie just nods, giving Chris a harsh glare. The other contestant that was pushed off the bus picks himself up off the floor by himself, scratching the back of his neck and obtaining a neutral expression.

“Chris, man. Not cool.” he says quietly, taking a sip from a can of soda before walking over to everybody else. This was everybody. The entire cast for the second season of Total Drama All-Stars. It wasn’t the ideal scenario; it only had 2 casts. But these were the only people who would agree to come back who were selected.

He takes a deep breath, walking back over to the place he stood when the camera turned on, and immediately adopted his entertainer voice to add a dramatic effect to the moment.

“Now that everybody’s here, I think it’s time to start!” he smirks, placing his hands behind his back.

“Season one of All Stars was based off our original Island season. So, we decided that Season two of All Stars would be based off our original Action season. Surprise! Nobody saw that coming!” He glared at everyone, a silent mention to not say a single word about it.

“You’re probably wondering what your teams are. Who are your enemies? Who are your allies? Well, you’ll find out... eventually! Your first challenge is another callback to Action. You gotta find your trailers. Good luck, people. Just watch out for any... obstacles.” He chuckles to himself, walking over to a small forklift and driving it away to the middle of nowhere.

Immediately, everyone turns into huddles with their respective group. Priya pulls Damien, Caleb, and Millie off to the side, keeping her voice low.

“I’ve got the directions memorized. Action was always my favorite season, so I know exactly where the cabins are. Follow me!” she exclaims, looking confident in her ability and running off to the North. They all nodded, following just behind her. Nearby, the two devious reboot schemers were in their own small huddle.

“So just follow Chris? Easy.” Julia says in a whisper to MK, quickly running in the direction that Chris drove away in. A completely different direction than the previous group had just walked in.

Owen and Noah gave each other a friendly smile, silently agreeing that they would stick together while they traversed the paths. Before they could walk away, a laid-back voice appeared next to them.

“Hey, guys. Mind if I tag along? I’ll pass a soda.” The boy spoke up, stretching out his pocket to reveal that it was filled to the very brim with cans of orange soda.

“No thanks. I don’t like orange, anyway-” Noah began before his larger-than-life friend ran forward, taking a can from the boy and smiling like a child on Christmas day.

“We’ll take it! Let’s go, soda man!"

Everyone else also split up into their respective groups, mostly just sticking to the people they are the closest to.

The group that was going the fastest was the group of four that left immediately. Priya was in the front, with Caleb trailing directly behind her and Millie and Damien also running along beside them.

Priya was quietly mumbling to herself all the necessary directions to take to find the campgrounds they had been staying in. She knew this place like the back of her hand, and she had never even visited this place before.

“We’re... going a little fast, don’t you think?” Millie exclaims, attempting to have everybody slow down for a moment to catch her breath. “I need the run, but wow .”

Priya stops, looking back at her friend in concern and softening her expression.

“I know, Millie. But if we get there first, we’ll probably be on the same team! And we could get first pick of the cabins.” She puts on a smile to try and encourage her friend to stay positive.

Millie just groans, before Caleb steps forward and picks Millie up with little to no effort. He swung the girl over his shoulder, so that her head was looking behind him.

“I got you, girl. Don’t break a sweat.” She just mutters a quiet ‘thank you,’ though was a little embarrassed she had to be carried. She had had enough of the comments online after getting far in Season 1, she was not about to get any more.

When they all (aside from Millie) had begun to run again, the girl in question could hear her friend muttering again.

“Right... left... left...”

Millie raised an eyebrow, before turning back towards her other friend and gesturing her hand towards him to grab his attention.

“How does she know where to go? Not complaining, we could win. But still...” She asks with a confused yet concerned frown.

“She knows everything Total Drama. But I suppose this is a little weird. Think her parents, did it?” Damien replied, looking up at Millie but still trying to look down so he doesn’t run directly into Caleb's back.

“I mean... her parents are questionable. But I doubt it.”

As soon as the girl finishes her sentence, she is interrupted unintentionally when Caleb begins to speak to his girlfriend again.

“Hey, babe, how do you know this place so well?” He smiles down at her.

“My parents made sure I knew every nook and cranny of every season, just in case we had 6 extra seasons.” She replied with a tired smile, as if that was a normal everyday thing.

“Oh... right.” Caleb looked concerned but didn't raise any questions. Millie’s frown just deepened, and she and Damien shared a knowing look.

Bowie and the hockey bros were trailing alongside each other, walking at a steady pace, and not bothering to try and be quick. The shorter boys were full of energy and wanted to have a little jog, but the tall blonde boy suggested they take it slow.

“Please, Bowie? You’re athletic too! I know you can run.” Raj whines, clinging to his boyfriend’s arm. Bowie just chuckles, patting him on the head subtly.

“I know, but the first episode realistically won’t have a double elimination. No need to rush.” He brushes them off, though it does not seem to ease either of their reactions.

Wayne looks ahead of him, trying to put his brain to use. He does not see a sign that says, “Cabin This Way,” so he does not really have a reference to go off, though he does see a small path off to the side. He enthusiastically pats both of his friends’ shoulders, pointing at it.

“Look! The cabins are connected to a path, eh? Cause it’s pretty important.” He says proudly, looking pleased with himself.

“Yeah! Good thinkin’ Wayner!” His friend exclaims, looking to where he pointed. Before any of the boys could run in that direction, they were suddenly stopped by voices calling out from behind them.

“Yo! Davie! Wait up!” Bowie turned around, recognizing the name being called being directed at him, and just smirked when he saw two people running. Leshawna was there, running towards the trio with Harold trailing behind her. She did not know why the boy had followed her, but at least it was a future ally.

“Could not even wait 10 minutes. You just had to speak to me.” Bowie remarked, sassily placing a hand on his hip, and taking a few steps towards the shorter Woman. She just scoffed, looking up at him and raising an eyebrow.

“Listen, Stringbean. I haven’t spoken to you or your mom in forever. Speaking of which, how’s she doin’?” She retorts back, albeit playful.

“Doing all right. She’s still looking for a new job, but other than that, she’s fine.”

Confessional (Bowie) : “Yeah, Leshawna’s my mom’s cousin. What? Surprised? My family has a surprisingly long history of competing in Total Drama.”

They continued their normal stroll, though the boys standing behind the family reunion were staying awkwardly silent. They didn’t really know what was happening, so they kept to themselves. But Wayne still wanted to make friends with everyone, so he turned to Harold and smiled.

“Hey, Harry. You don’t mind if I call you Harry, eh? Anyway, what’s up? Why’d you come back to Total Drama?” Wayne says with elevated levels of enthusiasm, catching the boy he was speaking to off guard. Harold looks over at him, not expecting the burst of energy, and just tilts his head.

“I just wanted to see all these people again. Some of them... haven’t changed. At all. But it’s nice that there’s a group of us together after so long. Oh, and the money. It’s always the money.” He responds confidently, pointing a finger to the sky occasionally.

Confessional (Harold) : “This show really made a man out of me. I wouldn’t be so good with the ladies if I didn’t come to this show. And my music career’s done well. I know it doesn’t look like I need the money, but I could use 5 million.”

“How about you? Didn’t you already win a Season?” The boy asks.

“Well, yeah. But now it’s Rajie’s turn! Me and his boyfriend reached the finale, so we’re rootin’ for him!” Wayne nudged Raj, ruffling his hair playfully while speaking.

Confessional (Wayne) : “Raj was a little bummed that he didn’t win Season 2 and I did. But he always says he’s happy for me, and besides, he got some o’ the cash too!”

Confessional (Raj) : “I appreciate Wayne hyping me up. But... a lot of pressure, eh? Haha...”

Meanwhile, two infamous villains were trailing behind one another, both trying to get the upper hand of each other. Heather and Alejandro. They had started out by simply walking, before it turned into an irritating jog, then eventually ended up with them bolting to get ahead.

“Why are you trying to match me? We’re going the same way!” Heather shouts, her voice weaker from her being out of breath. She looks over at her ‘companion,’ not in the mood to talk.

“I’m not the only one trying to win. Just slow down!” Alejandro shouts back, giving the girl a glare. She simply scoffs, completely ignoring his comment.

As they continue their competitive run, they’re about to turn a corner, and both nearly barge into each other. Almost immediately, they exclaim annoyed remarks at one another, still just wanting to prove they were better. But when they look back at the road ahead of them, they see an unnerving smile dead ahead.

“Hello.” she says quietly, making them scream and stop in their tracks.

They glanced at each other, before looking back at the girl standing eerily still in front of them. She was smiling, though she didn’t look like she was happy.

“Excuse me? Who invited the creepified Barbie doll back?” Heather says, irritated, and honestly a little bit freaked out. The other man standing nearby had a similar reaction, as he was trying to make sense of what just happened. His immediate thought was to try and distract her.

“Ignore her. She just doesn’t... understand you. But I do.” He leans forward, getting in her face and trying to tempt her with a flirtatious smile.

“Alejandro, stop hitting on children.” Heather places her hands on her hips, and just rolls his eyes.

Confessional (Alejandro) : “For the record, I do not like kids. They’re all eighteen, and I’m just using my looks to win the game.”

He leans forward further, taking ahold of her hand, before she glares into his eyes menacingly and not blinking once.

“Stop touching me.” She says in a horrifyingly quiet whisper, making the man shudder and take a few steps back. Heather watches in shock, not having seen much scared Alejandro before.

Confessional (Heather) : “Ugh, I’ve had enough of Izzy a century ago, and now we’ve got a demon following us around. What a way to start the season. If she’s on my team, she’s the first to go.”

As if she had been waiting in the shadows, Izzy hopped off one of the fake buildings beside them and landed right next to Lauren. She laughed, looking at the two villains and staring at them with morbid curiosity.

“Hey guys! You like my new friend? She loves scary movies just like me!”  she exclaims, wrapping her arms around Lauren and hugging her as if they had been best friends for life. Alejandro swore he managed to catch a glimpse of the girl’s eye twitching at the hug, but she stayed still otherwise.

“When did you have time to catch up? Ugh... never mind. I do not have time for this. We need to find the cabins.” Heather complains, turning around and walking away from the girls.

Confessional (Heather): “Fuck my life.”

Owen, Zee, and Noah were the next people who left the group. They were walking alone with each other, not really muttering a word as both Owen and Zee were just joyfully sipping away at their drinks. Owen had already finished his, so he crushed the can and threw it off to the side where the bin was. It didn’t land inside, but someone would grab it eventually.

Noah wasn’t exactly enjoying his time here. Every time he competed on this show, he was the first contestant voted off his team. He never liked this show anyway, but it still put him off that he might not be on a team with his only ally. Having another kid next to them wasn’t ideal for him either, but he’d put up with it for their sake.

“So, what's your favorite? I would have more flavors, but my sponsor got cancelled.” Zee asks in a laid-back tone, not really caring that he lost his sponsor. Though he did feel like he lost after having no more free soda.

“Oh! I’d have to go with the cola one. It’s a classic, you know? But I really like every flavor.” He chuckles, taking another can of Orange Soda off Zee and chugging it. Zee looks up at Owen respectfully, impressed with the fact that he can chug a soda so quickly. Or, at least quicker than he can do it, and he’s had plenty of practice.

“How’d you get so good at that, man? It’s like you’ve been doing it your whole life, huh?” He questions.

“Nope! Just really like this soda. I can burp the ABCs too! Wanna see?” Before he’s even able to elaborate, Noah quickly turns around and points an angry finger at his friend.

No . Not again.” He quickly speaks, though his expression falters when he sees the disappointment etched in Owen’s face. He just sighs, turning back around and gesturing for them to follow him again.

“Listen, you can do it later. But we’re in the middle of a challenge, and my back can’t hold for long. Now get moving.” Owen just nods his head, continuing to walk.

They don’t walk for extraordinarily long before the casual conversation picks up again.

“Didn’t you win this challenge before? You could show us the way, Brah.” the chill guy says, looking up at Owen expectantly.

Noah, overhearing this, has a eureka moment. He turns back around to the boys for the second time, grinning.”

“That’s a great idea! Lead the way, Owen.” He points at him as if ordering a puppy to fetch, and Owen quickly agrees to the idea.

“Okay! It’s this way! Follow me!” He points in one direction, to which the others follow him, though the man suddenly stops in his tracks. “Or was it that way? Or...”

Noah just facepalms. Zee takes a sip of his soda.

Meanwhile, two people were staring at this interaction from behind a building. They were peeking out from the cardboard, staring at the trio of boys, and looking in disbelief. The taller blonde just scoffed, groaning in annoyance, and standing up straight to look at the girl next to her.

“You think they are good allies? They probably don’t even know what day it is.” Julia exclaims in a whisper, moving her arms to the side to emphasize her point.

“So what? They’re all gullible, and Noah’s desperate, right? Owen spilled the beans about his family life.” the shorter girl, MK, also puts her arm to the side, silently saying ‘I don’t know,’ though she did seem slightly confident.

“I don’t care. I’m not allying with idiots.” The blonde crosses her arms, beginning to walk away and completely disregard MK’s plan, though the shorter girl suddenly became determined.

“I’m not getting my ass kicked off early because you’re stubborn. They may be stupid, but that means they’ll trust us easily. Besides, you have no allies at all besides me. Or do you want to be the first voted off our team?” Julia turns to MK, surprised at her little outburst, though she just smiles in respect. She does groan, though, knowing that the other girl is right and that she does need the help quite a lot.

“Fine. But I’m doing the talking.” She pushes MK to the side, grabbing ahold of her shoulder and dragging her along with her. The shorter girl lets out a quiet yelp, though silences herself when she notices all the boys have now turned towards them.

“Hey, boys! I noticed that y’all are struggling a little bit, hmm?” Julia smirks devilishly when she steps towards them, though she does try to seem approachable. Owen, recognizing her, immediately steps forward and gasps excitedly.

“Noah, this is the one that makes the amazing cupcakes!” He points in her face, making her flinch backwards and chuckle awkwardly. Noah rolls his eyes, not caring. Julia had to hold back a yell at the fact that Owen only remembers her for her cupcakes, and not that she made the final four twice, though she was proud her baking was that good.

“Sure, whatever. Anyway, we were thinking about making a little alliance. You know? We could be the final 5 this season!” She places a fake smile on her face, though she was confident in her ability to easily fool at least two of them. The third wasn’t very convinced.

“We don’t even have teams yet. We could all be on different ones. How do you protect us in that case?” He crosses his arms, looking at her skeptically. Though MK quickly pipes up in defense of the blonde.

“Because we know how to play this game. Just trust us, we can help you easily.” She smirks.

“Or we could have some different people. You know, replace you with some better alliance members.” She replicates the smirk of the girl standing next to her, and they make eye contact, knowing exactly what the other is thinking. Noah’s expression falters at their statement. He doesn’t trust them at all, but he knows they aren’t exactly wrong. He needs allies.

He turns around, noticing that Zee looks indifferent, and he puts a thumbs up. Owen seems a little nervous to be working alongside Julia, but he hasn’t said anything against it.

Confessional (Owen) : “Julia is good at this game, but she’s also a little bit mean. She used an advantage against her own ally, so I don’t know.”

“Fine. But any funny business and you’re getting kicked off immediately. Got it?” Noah glares, which just makes the girls satisfied.

“Pleasure doing business.” The blonde says.

Confessional (Julia) : “Oldest trick in the book. Once we have a majority, we’ll just kick those idiots off.”

They all begin to travel together, before a familiar voice comes up from an announcer coming off a large pole.

“Hey, campers! Might want to pick up the pace, four people have already made it to the trailers!” It was Chris. Julia just gasped, staring up at it in confusion.

How did they do that so quickly?”

By the trailers, Priya was celebrating her early success, and that it was good enough that even Chris was impressed with her. The other three behind her looked proud of themselves, but the fact that Priya was physically jumping for joy just made her stand out more to the others.

Caleb looked up at the trailers, smiling at how much... nicer they looked than the original season. There were two trailers in front of him, both looking completely refurbished and cleaned, with windows inside showing that even the beds looked comfier. Beside these trailers, was a much larger caravan, that looked as if it could hold the entire cast and the hosts at the same time.

“I’m assuming that’s the first-place prize?” Damien says with a smirk, already making evening plans.

“Well, yes. But it’s not entirely the case for today. Damien and Millie stand on the first mat. Caleb in the second and Priya in the third. All of them go wide-eyed, gasping and staring at each other sadly.

“So, I don’t have any of you?” Priya says, disappointed. Though she’s quickly comforted by Millie’s hand on her shoulder.

“We’ll be fine Priya. Me and Damien have each other, and Caleb can handle himself. Besides, you’ve made the final 4 twice. You’ll be fine!” Priya looks over at Caleb who gives her a reassuring nod, and they all step onto their respective mats.

Confessional (Priya) : “I guess there’s three teams this time. Last time that happened one of the teams kept losing miserably. I just hope that it isn’t my team this season.”

In the nearby distance, Lindsay and Tyler were just strolling alongside each other, the blonde clinging onto her Husband’s arm. She smiled and could not take her eyes off him. He noticed, looking down at her and just rolling his eyes.

“I don’t look that good. We need to focus on winning, yeah?” He says to be convincing, but she doesn’t budge.

“Well, can’t we just make out for a little? We might be on different teams again.” Lindsay pleads, and he scoffs at her attempts, immediately giving into them. He leans down to give her a kiss, and she does the same, but before they can do so they are interrupted by the loud sound of footsteps behind them.

“Wait up!” She calls, coming to a halt when she arrives at the lovebirds, they quickly separate and look at the girl awkwardly.

“Emily?” Lindsay calls out, placing a finger on her chin. Tyler scoffs in amusement, and ‘Emily’ looks up at them, panting.

“Can I stick with you all? I-it’s just that... I’ve had nobody to hang around with. I’m not close with a lot of people on this show. Not anymore, at least.” She looks down sadly, only making the interaction even more awkward for the other two. Lindsay just looks off to the side, whistling to fill the silence, and Tyler breaks it first.

“Well... sure. Not like you were interrupting us or anything.” He shoots her a silent glare, which she doesn’t notice, and just smiles about the fact they agreed to let her stick with them. She was about to start speaking to them when she quickly noticed some people in the distance.

“Wait. Are those the trailers?” She calls out, noticing a Priya-Shaped figure in the distance. Lindsay and Tyler turned towards them, and the girl just nodded her head.

“Yeah. I remember my way around from last season. Which is weird because I’m not good with memory. Right, Tyson?” She looks at him.

“Tyler. And... yeah. What she said.”

Emma just gives them a dazed look before grabbing them with their hands and dragging them towards the trailers.

“Then let’s get a move on! We can’t dawdle, we need this challenge over.” She says, storming towards the trailers. Though before they can arrive, Emma steps on a button. She looks down at it curiously, lifting her foot before being fired directly into the air, higher than the buildings. They are sent far forward, landing right in front of Chris.

He just holds in his laughter, looking down at the teenagers with a smirk.

“How graceful. How come that’s the only trap that’s been set off? I laid so many more!” He groans, now feeling annoyed and not bothering to lift them up.

“Emma, you’re on Damien’s team. You two, you’re on Caleb’s team. He turns towards them, seeing Lindsay and Tyler, and sighs.

Confessional (Caleb) : He just facepalms

“You can’t avoid me forever, you know.” Alejandro states blandly, looking at Heather from behind and having a neutral expression on his face. His voice was slightly pleading, but he tried to mask it with a monotone voice.

Heather scoffs.

“I don’t have time to deal with you right now. We have a bunch of crazies stalking us.” She angrily gestures over to the two ‘crazies’ who are walking behind them and smiling. Izzy just looked happy to be there, meanwhile Lauren was staring into the distance, thinking about... something. Nobody could ever read her.

Alejandro looks back at them, noticing Lauren was just staring at them with a blank expression, and he shudders.

“But this might be our only chance to talk. You ghosted me, Heather.” The irritation in his tone was more noticeable than before, and Heather sighed. She turns towards him, stopping in her tracks and looking up at him with a soft expression.

“So what? It’s not like we meant anything. We were kids who were desperate for money. That’s it. Just drop it, Alejandro.” She groans, turning back around and continuing to walk as the leader. He looked a little hurt by her words, but sighed and accepted them for what they were. While Heather’s back was turned, Alejandro flinched at a sudden tap on his shoulder.

“You didn’t deserve that.” Lauren said eerily, peeking over his shoulder. The man gave her a confused look, squinting and raising his eyebrows.

“...Right. It doesn’t matter. She’s over me now.” He looks away from the girl, and back at Heather who appeared grumpy.

“Well, I can help you get revenge . Just ally with me ! She smirks, though everything else about her seemed stiff. It was unsettling to say the least.

“I don’t need revenge. But I’ll take the alliance. I guess.” he rolls his eyes, walking away from her.

Confessional (Alejandro) : “Why is she allying with me? Does she know who I am? I’ll take the easy vote, though.”

Confessional (Lauren) : She giggles. “What an idiot.”

Outside of the confessional, Lauren was still giggling to herself, while Izzy just gave her a confused look. Heather, beginning to get irritated, turns towards the scary girl and waves a finger in her face.

“Can you shut up? I’m trying to win a challenge here, and-” She takes a step forward, suddenly pausing in her words when she hears the faint sound of a ‘click.’ All four of them looked down, seeing she had stepped on a trapdoor. Heather froze in place, not daring to move her foot even an inch.

“Was nice knowing you Heather!” Izzy called out, beginning to walk away. Lauren immediately stopped her, placing a hand on her shoulder.

“We need her.” She whispers, and the crazy girl just turns back around and runs towards Heather.

“Well, you’re gonna need to get off it anyway. How about now?” Izzy grabs onto Heather’s leg, lifting the trapdoor and activating it. Heather and Alejandro immediately scream, looking at Izzy like she’s a psychopath (she probably is), and brace themselves for the worst. They wait for the worst to happen, but then silence draws out.

They swore they could hear crickets, as they looked around them and noticed that the trapdoor had done absolutely nothing. Lauren just sulked, as the girl had been hoping for some sort of violence to occur. Meanwhile Heather looked a lot more relieved, now that she could live another day.

“Guess it was a faulty one?” Alejandro guesses, scratching the back of his neck. Before anyone can even respond to his theory, the ground begins to rumble. Right next to where they were standing, a giant hole opened in the ground, making the quadrant back away in confusion.

From the floor emerged a platform, that carried a giant, green, monstrous beast. They all immediately recognized it, though only two of them seemed excited. Izzy just smirked, remembering the times she had with this beast.

An announcer's voice suddenly came through a speaker attached to a building, and a sadistic laugh came through.

“Heather activated the old monster movie robot, everyone! Sucks to be her!” The man laughs again, and the announcer goes silent as it is stepped on by said robot. The girl in question stomps her foot angrily, pointing into the sky.

“For fucks sake, McLean!” Alejandro walks over to grab her by the wrist and move her out of the way of the monster, but all of them are suddenly picked up by the monster. Heather squirms, meanwhile, Izzy looks up at the monster with interest.

“Hey, baby. Long time no see, hmm?” She waves her fingers suggestively, and the camera pans to chef who was controlling the monster again. Chris stood next to him, looking concerned.

“What is she talking about? Whatever. Just take them to the bouncy castle.” He brushes Chef off, walking back to where the other competitors were standing.

“While that whole fiasco is going on, let’s check in on our other comp- wait, there’s people coming in the distance!” Chris points at the direction he was referring to, making everyone’s head turn.

They could see five outlines, all running together and making sure they arrived there was fast as they could. There were two outlines that were significantly farther ahead than everyone else.

“Go, Snow Owls!” The brunette shouted, meanwhile the blonde running next to him attempted to make an owl sound. There was another blonde running just behind them, smiling.

His smile quickly turns into a smirk as he picks up his pace, running ahead of the hockey bros and making them gasp. They knew Bowie was athletic, but they weren’t expecting him to overtake them.

“You’re skaters, not runners. Keep up, boys.” The taller blonde said, getting ahead of them. Raj swooned slightly, admiring his boyfriend and how athletic he was. But Wayne was not going to take any of that, and the trash talk just fueled his fire. He sprinted faster, getting side-by-side with Bowie and running ahead a little bit.

They both eventually crossed the ‘finish line,’ to which they seemed to tie. Both were disappointed, but Chris walked over to them to ruin their days even more. Raj walked just up behind them, being the third of their group to arrive. He placed both his hands on Wayne’s and Bowie’s shoulders.

“Alright boys. Wayne and Bowie, you’re with Priya. Raj, you’re with Damien.” All their faces fell. Raj looked between his companions sadly, immediately being crushed by the news.

Wayne, however, didn’t look as phased as the others. He’d managed to get over this fear during Season 2, so he immediately attempted to comfort his friend.

“It’s all right, Rajie. Can’t wait to see you on the rink, huh? We’re gonna crush you.” Wayne smirked, looking at Raj directly in the eyes. Bowie raised his eyebrows, not finding the words very comforting at all, though he was surprised to see the determination sprout in Raj.

“No, you ain’t! My team’s gonna destroy yours. You have no chance.” Raj and Wayne’s foreheads collided, making them stare directly at each other. Chris looked even more disappointed than the boys before, not seeing any sort of dispute between them.

“You’re on different teams. Go to your mats. Now.” He pushed them apart, forcefully, and Wayne poked his tongue out at Raj. Bowie gave a little wave to Raj, to which Raj reciprocated.

“

Confessional (Raj) : “Never been on my own before. I’ve had to stand in for Wayne when he’s injured during our hockey practice, but this is way different. At least I have Damien, eh?”

Right behind them, Leshawna and Harold were exhausted. One more than the other, though they both seemed like they wanted to lie down and rest for the rest of the day. Leshawna stepped forward, pointing a finger at Bowie.

“You need to stop doing that. You’re too fast for this girl.” She stood up straight, stretching and noticing Chris was looking at her. Harold also looked up, though he seemed dazed.

“You two, go to Damien’s team.” They both nodded, walking over to where the other groups were standing. Harold walked over and stood next to Raj, who was looking a little timid by himself. Leshawna walked directly over to Millie, giving her a friendly smile.

“Yo, wassup girl?” she said welcomingly. Millie looked over at Leshawna, reciprocating the smile.

“Hi. I’m Millie.” she said awkwardly. She didn’t know how to properly make friends all that much.

“Leshawna. You think this is your season?” Leshawna places a hand on her waist, trying to assess what Millie acted like.

“Maybe. I don’t know many of the people from your seasons. You seem nice, though.” Millie looked Leshawna up and down, already enjoying her energy and friendly attitude.

“Well, it ain’t your season. That money is mine.” Leshawna said with a smirk. Millie just laughed. “I’m only playing. Good luck, girl.”

On the other side of the mats, Wayne looked over to Priya with a smile of his own.

“Hey, Priya! You ready?” He added a lot of enthusiasm to his voice, always having such bubbly energy. It was almost contagious, as Priya began to feel excited too.

“Hell yes, I’m ready. I just haven’t been on a team without any of my friends before.” She looked nervously at her old allies, seeing all of them on different teams.

“I’m your friend, though, right? Besides, we’ll be fine. We’ve all made the finale before, right? We got this!” Wayne nudged Priya on the shoulder, wrapping his arm around her back comfortingly and attempting to boost her mood. And it worked, as Priya was now laughing quietly.

Confessional (Priya) : “I barely ever spoke to Wayne, and he considers me a friend? Guess I don’t have much to worry about. Working with Bowie will be hard, though. I’m still not over the notebook.”

Julia looked fed up. She had been walking with these buffoons for over an hour, and they still had not arrived at the trailers. They were especially annoyed because Owen had told them he knew the way to the campground, and she had naively trusted his word. It was Owen for crying aloud.

For around 10 minutes, she had decided it was better for her to take the lead instead, and was walking ahead of everyone else, with MK trailing closely next to her. Julia really wasn’t in the mood to talk, and the silence surrounding them was awkward.

Owen and Zee were still drinking soda. Noah was looking between them in shock, still trying to figure out both how they managed to drink so much and where the drinks were even coming from. He had his arms crossed and leaned closer to Owen in a whisper.

“I don’t trust them at all. You need to keep an eye on them.” He mutters quietly, glancing over at Julia to make sure she couldn’t and didn’t hear them.

“Yeah, but she’s really good at this game. I don’t know, buddy.” Owen looked down at Noah, whispering back to him at the same volume. He also looked over at Julia noticing her sour mood and frowning.

“She’s just a snake. She wouldn’t hesitate to betray us; we need to do it first.” The shorter boy said in a stern voice, making Owen realize that. Owen didn’t exactly agree with the idea of betrayal, but Noah was more strategic at this game than him. Though he does wonder how he always made it farther than him in this game.

Though Julia wasn’t listening in, MK was. She didn’t appreciate them trying to break the alliance into two before it had even properly formed, and she immediately turned towards Julia.

“Noah’s trying to convince those other boys to vote you off, by the way.” MK said slowly, trying to gauge Julia’s reaction. Julia silently gasped, her face turning into a scowl as she peeks over her shoulder. She watches as Noah continues to whisper to Owen, as if she wasn’t standing right there.

“We’ll have him gone by next week.” She mutters quietly, making sure only the girl standing beside her could hear the threatening statement. MK smirked, placing a hand on her hip, and letting out a hum in agreement. Julia paused for a moment, before turning around and attempting to manipulate the three of them again.

“Hey, boys. I just wanted to say that-” The ground rumbled. MK and Zee fell over, though the others remained standing. All of them looked around, trying to determine where the sound came from, and it didn’t take long to figure out. Just behind one of the fake buildings was a large animatronic, staring down at them.

They all froze in fear, not knowing what to do. Zee took a sip of his soda, breaking the silence and making the other four just stare at him, confused. Before they could react, they were all also swiped up by the monster. MK grunted, feeling herself tightly pressed against Zee and Noah in one hand, while Owen and Julia were tightly packed in the other.

Owen smirked, just giggling to himself.

“This didn’t work out well for you last time, big guy. You can’t lift me.” Owen says smugly as the robot lifts him. Julia just shoots him a glare, whereas Noah rolls his eyes. Then they all began to scream as they were carried away into the distance.

Chris taps his foot impatiently, staring at his watch as he waits for the other campers to arrive. They were still waiting for nine more of them, and he wasn’t going to stand there all day while they were all lost in there.

Everyone else had just resorted to doing their own thing instead. Damien, Millie, and Raj were all playing cards, while the rest of their team members watched them. Leshawna didn’t know where they’d found cards to play with, but she didn’t really care, since it wasn’t like a deck of cards ruins her strategy.

The second team wasn’t really doing much either. Lindsay and Tyler were chatting away on the floor, while Caleb sat beside them awkwardly. He didn’t know either of them or he wasn’t particularly happy about maybe having to sit through an entire season of them just flirting with each other.

Priya looked nervous. The only people she’d really like to have on her team that still hadn’t arrived were Owen and Zee. Everyone else was either evil or crazy, and she was guaranteed to have at least two of them on her team. Bowie also looked on edge, though Wayne seemed happy to be waiting. He’d gotten used to it.

Confessional (Bowie) : “I don’t know what I should hope for. The fact that Scary Girl could be on my team, or that Julia could be on my team. Probably Scary Girl.”

While this was happening, the five newly-formed-alliance members were still in captivity by the giant monster. They stayed silent while being taken away before Chris spotted them from a distance. He picked up his megaphone, pointing it towards them and shouting as loud as he could.

“Hey, slowpokes! What’s taking so long?” He screams angrily, making the contestants around him flinch.

Noah looks at him with a raised eyebrow.

“Can he not see the giant lizard preventing us from moving?” he says in a monotone voice, to which MK snorts in amusement. Chris walks towards Chef, who was still holding the contestants captive, and tapped him on the shoulder.

“Bring them over here. We don’t have all day. And- where did you put those other four you found?” the host crossed his arms, giving his co-host a glare as he began to control the monster and bring the contestants back over to the trailers. Chef pointed to one of the cameras, where they were held in an identical bouncy castle to the first Action season.

Heather and Alejandro were on one side of it, while the other girls took up most of the giant toy. They were playing pat-a-cake and laughing to themselves. Heather looked exhausted from them, as if she’d rather spent the day hanging around Chris. Chris snapped his fingers, signaling for the co-host to go and collect them too.

The scene starts with all nine of the contestants that didn’t make it to the mats themselves all being dropped on the floor in front of Chris. He had his arms placed behind his back, looking at all of them disappointedly.

“Tsk, tsk. Some of TDI’s best players, and Noah, and you were the only ones captured.” Noah scoffed at the host’s statement, not amused. They all managed to get up off the floor, looking over at all the different teams. She didn’t want any of them.

“Well, I’ll just give you these random teams. Noah, you’re with Damien. Julia’s group, you’re with Caleb. Everyone else, stand with Priya.” They all walked to their respective teams, and most of them seemed okay with their decisions.

Noah looked over at Julia’s smirk, seeing her stare at Owen and Zee.”

Confessional (Noah) : “There’s no way that was random. Everyone else in the alliance on the same team except me? I just hope Owen doesn’t trust that blonde.”

Confessional (Julia) : “My team could be better. A lot better. But I’ve got my alliance, and we can just send those other three packing. I’ll need to deal with Noah some other way, though.”

Confessional (Alejandro) : “I’m not disappointed at all. We have five people on our team who reached the top two, and those crazy girls are surprisingly sturdy. We’re not losing a single challenge.”

Chris clears his throat to grab everyone’s attention and makes his voice louder.

“Alrighty then! This first episode was almost a complete waste! Only a few of you got hurt, and somehow none of you activated the traps I set. You guys make for horrible TV.” Chris glares at them, and nobody seems to care.

“Despite this, we’re all here. And this Season has a special theme, much like our first three seasons. Total Drama Action had movies, so why don’t we do a different ‘tech’nique. This season is all about social media!” He announces enthusiastically. Chef runs next to Chris with a TV screen on wheels, panting.

Millie looks over at Chris, frowning.

“You have got to be kidding me.” Heather mutters under her breath.

“Chris has never sounded older.” MK smirks, though she seems to cringe at the thought of doing an entire season based upon the internet. Everyone else seems to have similar reactions.

“That’s right! It’s the only reason we’re allowing phones this season, because they may be important for a few challenges in the future.” he laughs sadistically, already anticipating what’s to come for the contestants.

“And you’ve obviously noticed we have three teams this season. It was a popular theme in World Tour, so we brought it back. Damien, for coming in first, you’ve won the luxury stay for your team. Damien, along with the rest of his teammates, cheer for success. He points them to the lavish trailer behind him, and they all walk towards it.

“It’s fitted with feathered bedding, a fridge that is refilled daily by our Master Chef, and there’s plenty of room for you to enjoy your stay. Not just that but hidden inside this trailer is an immunity idol! It’ll be hard to find because of how big the trailer is, but it’ll be found eventually.” Damien gasps, looking excited.

Confessional (Damien) : “YES! I have a second shot with that stupid statue. After Julia stole it and got me eliminated, I think I deserve to have another chance. She’s going down !”

“The other teams, just go and pick a smaller trailer. It’ll just about fit all of you, and there’s probably enough beds.” Chris laughs.

“Probably?” Harold asks.

“Sure. Just get to bed, and you’ll start your first elimination challenge tomorrow.” The host shoos them away, wanting to end the episode in peace.

There were annoyed mutters between the campers, though they all walked to their respective trailers with their teams.

“And that’s a wrap, boys and girls! Tomorrow’s going to be filled with much more to come! There will be even more drama than you’ve seen, and we’ll have the old collide with the new. Will it go well? Probably not at all. But you’re going to have to find out next time, on Total. Drama. All-Stars!”

Confessional (Leshawna) : “Yeah. This place still sucks.”

Notes:

Teams:

Damien, Millie, Emma, Raj, Leshawna, Harold, Noah

Caleb, Lindsay, Tyler Julia, MK, Owen, Zee,

Priya, Wayne, Bowie, Izzy, Lauren, Alejandro, Heather

They will have names, but those aren't decided yet. Probably next chapter. I mostly spun a wheel to decide these teams, then had them arrive in order of 1st member there, then the next two members there, then the next four members there. The only swap I did when spinning the wheel was Raj and Alejandro, because I wasn't gonna have Bowie, Wayne and Raj on the same team again.

Hope you enjoyed.
