Doorman’s First Words

Uzi Pov
The Doorman Household
It was a normal Afternoon in The Doorman household. Well sorta normal as Uzi was trying to get her Son to say his first word. It’s been a couple weeks since she and N have got him and she was getting a little bit inpatient about waiting for him to speak. She knows that Pill babies take a bit to fully develop their ability to speak so she understood that. But she wanted to know what he sounded like. So she has been spending the past week trying to get him to say something.
”Come on Bolt. Just one word for Mommy.” She says to him from his Crib.
Nothing. Not a peep. Just his purple Digital eyes blinking back at her. That’s what it’s been for the past week. No change in Anything except from her feeling a lack of Sleep from staying up past her recharge. So much so that Uzi decided that maybe it was best to just go to bed and try again tomorrow. She couldn’t work on an empty battery.
”Sigh. I guess I will try again tomorrow.” Uzi then says to herself.
So Uzi began to walk away from the crib and out to her and N’s Room Until She then heard a Small cutesy voice say..
“Uzi.”
This made Uzi confused. Who said that? She then looked around the room to wonder where that voice came from until the realization hit her. The only other drone in the room was Bolt. Did this mean that he..?
"Bolt? Did you say Mommy’s name?" Uzi then said in shock and awe at this discovery to Bolt while heading back to his crib.
"Uzi." Bolt then said again to her.
He did it. His first word was her name. All of her work paid off for this moment. The fact that Her son’s first word was her Name made her Core feel warm,And not the overheating kind. Just the genuine Warmth at this precious moment. The only thing that would make this better is if N was here for it. Then as soon as she said that N was walking into the Living Room.
“Hey Uzi. What’s going on here?” He said to her in a happy tone.
“N. It happened.” Uzi said to N in a soft voice.
“What Happened?” He asks her.
“Bolt. He said his First Word.” Uzi tells him in a happy manner.
“He did!?” N then said in shock.
”Yeah. It may have taken a week and a lack of charging but I did it. I made him say his first word.”
”I’m so proud of you Honey.” N says being proud of his wife. “Can I talk to him?”
”Sure thing N.”
So N went over to Bolt’s Crib and looked down at him while smiling at him.
“Hi There Little Biscuit. I heard from Mommy that you said your first word, didn't you?” N says to Bolt Happily.
“Biscuit.” Bolt then said in a cutesy voice to N.
“What? How did you get him to say Biscuit so easily when I tried to get him to say a word for a week?” Uzi then said in a jealous mood to him.
”Maybe I just got lucky.” He tells her honestly.
”Well. At least I get the honor of having the first Word.” Uzi responds back to Him.
2 years later
Uzi Pov
"Come on Latch. I know you can do it." Said Uzi to her daughter Latch.
It was the Evening and Uzi was trying to get her to say a word. She has been trying to have her Daughter Latch to say her first words. To think that's it's been almost two years since She had got her Son Bolt to say his First Words. And now she was doing it with her daughter. Time really does fly, doesn't it? N was still at work at this time and Bolt was at her Dad’s for the day. So she had time to try and maybe get Latch to say some words.
But then Uzi heard the Phone in the kitchen ring to her annoyance.
Speaking of Her Dad he was probably calling her now. He was probably calling about Either What Bolt would want for dinner or about her Wanting to work with him in doors. Her answer was still and will be no. She has a whole lab to herself with a business. Doesn’t he get it at this point? So Uzi put Latch in her crib and went to go answer the phone and prepare to deal with Her Dad by talking as soon as the phone was finished ringing.
”Hi Dad. No, I'm not working with you indoors. If there’s anything else you want to say?"
"Wow? Is this your new insult? Dad? I expect better from you." A feminine voice then said to her across the line.
“Oh. It’s you.” Uzi then said in a monotone voice.
So it wasn’t her dad like she expected, but rather the Second last Drone she wanted to hear from in the morning. Lizzy Sparker. What did she want from her? Did she finally realize that she and V have the hots for each other and she is calling to admit defeat for thinking she was joking about them dating? No. That would require them to actually realize that fact. So why was she calling her?
“Hi Lizzy. What brings you to my number today?”
“I just wanted to call and tell you that I heard that you lost a Screwdriver and I think I know where it is.” She begins to tell her.
What? She's calling her about her Missing screwdriver that she mentioned yesterday to her and V? When and how did she get that information?
”You know where it is? Ok Liz where it is?” Uzi said to her in a confused manner.
“I have it.”
"You took my screwdriver!? When did this happen?” She then told her through the phone.
“Maybe leaving your stuff out in the open is a bad idea for you.” Lizzy remarks to her. “Also I stole it when I came last week.”
”Ughh! Note to self put your tools back in your lab if you’re not using them.” Uzi then says to herself.
“Can I have My it back Liz?” Uzi then asks her.
"Sure. If you let me finally paint that Dusty lab of your's a decent Color." She tells her.
"Oh Hell No! I'm not having my place turn into a pink spade." Uzi then yells at her.
“Why not? It’s better than it being that crusty purple you’re obsessed with.” Lizzy comments to her.
“Purple is Cool! And it’s My Lab,I Can Color whatever the Hell I want it to be!“
“Well. I guess you’re down a screwdriver.” Lizzy then remarks to Uzi. “Maybe I can use it to help measure things.”
“That’s not how you use a Freaking Screwdriver! You use a ruler for that!”
“Screwdriver? Ruler? They are all Metal things that you work with.” Lizzy then says in a non caring fashion.
“That’s not how it works. Do you have anything else to say or did you just call to gloat?” Uzi then asks her.
”Well, I was going to ask if you could make a hair dryer like those Humans have for my Hair?” She responds back to Uzi.
”Yeah No. If you don't get my Screwdriver back you don’t get an invention.” She then tells Lizzy.
“But…”
“Goodbye for now Liz.”
And So Uzi hung up the phone and put it down on her Desk and Slightly groaned to herself. Then she headed Back To Where Latch was still in her crib and sighs to herself.
“Freaking Lizzy and her tricks. I should have expected that at this point." Uzi said to herself.
“Mommy.” A cutesy voice then speaks out from the crib.
This made Uzi Perk up and turn over to the Crib. That was definitely from Latch,so she looked down into the crib and then saw her Loving Daughter staring back at her with her Yellow eyes.
"I know that you had in you sweetie. Just like your brother, your First word is about me." Uzi says to Latch.
”Bite Me.” Latch then says out loud.
Wait a minute, bite me? That was something she didn't expect from her for at least 15 years. And When did Say Bite Me to Lizzy? She didn’t? So when did Latch learn to say that? But then it hit her. She said Bite Me to Sam and Thad the other day when they screwed up her latest project with that stupid football of theirs and she was yelling at them. She must’ve left the door to the lab open and Latch was there in the crib in the living room. Also she was very mad at them for ruining weeks of work by that dumb ball so did she…
”Uh Sweetie? You didn’t hear Mommy say some curse words a few days ago did you?” Uzi then asks Latch from her crib.
"Crap." Latch then said to Uzi.
Well, that was the confrontation that she needed. She majorly screwed up and she has no one to blame but herself. But maybe there’s still a way to fix Latch’s bad vocab before N finds out and is...
"Uzi. I'm back early today.." A voice then said from the front hallway.
Well So much for having time to fix this. N was now back early from work. Guess she has to admit to him that she screwed up to him and that she is going to hopefully fix this.
”Hey N. I have good news and bad news for you today." Uzi said to him in a happy and slightly nervous manner. "So The good news is that Latch said her first words.”
“Really!? I missed our daughter saying her first words? What were they?” N says in an excited voice.
“Well,that's the bad news, actually Honey.” She tells him honestly.
"Bite me.” Latch then says out loud.
Then N had a stern look on his face after Latch said that while looking at Uzi.
"Uzi? I thought we agreed on no swear words for her?” N then asks her.
"I know. It’s My Fault N. I will take care of this problem since it’s my mistake.” Uzi tells N while Picking up Latch from her Crib.
“Really? Ok Uzi. That’s very responsible of you.” N then said in a more modest manner.
“Thanks N.” She says back to Him.
“Oh And another thing. If you go over to V and Lizzy’s Place sometime soon and see a screwdriver. Please steal it.” Uzi then tells N.
Then N looked at Uzi With a ? On his screen in confusion at what she was talking about.
15 years later
Latch POV
"And that is how I said my first words." A 16 year old Latch then said finishing her story to someone.
”I know,It's a lot to take in But I assure you that was the beginning of how I became the agent of Chaos I am today. If you want I could tell you another story about my many adventures of being like my Mom? My favorite has to be the one where…”
"Latch? Why are you talking to Tim?"
That voice. It was coming from her older brother Bolt who was coming into the living room with a bottle of Oil for The baby while looking at Her with a slight hint of curiosity.
"Hey Older brother. I'm just telling one of your frequent customers about my first words." She says proudly while folding her arms at him.
"You mean the day Mom and Aunt Lizzy fought over a screwdriver? Is that something to be proud of?" He asks her in an uncertain way.
"It's one of my early memories. Of course I should be fond of it." She tells him.
“Sure. But at least Mom has hopefully learned her lesson about swearing around kids after your little incident.” Bolt then says to himself.
But As soon as it was brought up Uzi was angrily coming into the Living room swearing on the phone at the School about how they were blaming her for the fire that occurred in the lab Last week.
“Oh! So it’s my fault that the fire happened because it was my invention? Listen here you dumbasses, Maybe if you actually read through the instruction’s I gave you then this wouldn’t have happened! I have evidence that it was used incorrectly,My husband is in security so I have this whole bunker’s footage. So unless you have actual proof that you followed it exactly, take it to Me or My Husband! Until then don't Call me Back!”
Then Uzi hung up the phone and then put it on the table nearby and then groaned in utter anger and rage.
“Ugh! Even when I’m not attending School it still finds a way to Bite Me In the Ass!"
Then she stormed off to her lab to vent her frustration into an invention like she usually does. Then Bolt turned his Head back to Tim waiting for him to say something only for nothing to happen.
”Phew. That was close.” Bolt then says to himself while picking up Tim. “You’re not going to say a bad word on my watch right Tim?”
”Bite Me.” Tim then said in a cutesy manner to Bolt’s Shock and slight horror and Latch’s Joy.
”Ahhh! Tim you can’t say that! That’s a bad word for you.” Bolt then yells out in fear and panic.
”And thus the legacy continues.” Latch then declares to herself with a smile.
”You didn’t do anything? Mom did it!” Bolt then shouted back to her in a hint of anger.
”Well as they say. Like Mother Like Daughter.” Latch tells him.
”I’m going to make a mental note to start babysitting at the parent’s houses for my babysitting jobs for now on to prevent these issues.” Bolt then says to Himself.
