Work Text:
After Yuuji died in the detention center, he and Sukuna had a binding vow that consisted of Sukuna bringing Yuuji back to life in exchange for having his own body outside of Yuuji’s own.
He’s kinda like a cursed corpse that looks like Yuuji with the slicked-back hairstyle and tattoos. Fortunately, he’s not hellbent on murder and violence. He’s just genuinely curious about the current century and how much has changed since the Heian period. Or so he says.
He still has a shitty personality though and thinks all modern humans are beneath him that he won’t allow anyone to address him as anything but “Your Majesty.”
An arrogant window who thought he had immunity because he worked closely with the higher ups made the mistake of mocking Sukuna for his demands. He thought Sukuna’s powers were limited to only being able to physically manifest because Yuuji had only ingested two fingers. Unfortunately for him, he paid for his insolence with both his hands slashed clean off his wrists. The window could only scream in terror.
“Silence your wretched cries, vermin. Even the brat did not wail so pitifully when his own hand was cut off. Yet,” Sukuna gave the terrified window a maniacal smile, “Should you wish to further offend my ears, I shall not hesitate to sever your head from your neck.”
The window was sure he was going to die then. Good thing Yuuji was able to stop Sukuna, something no one had seen coming.
Before disappearing, he made sure to emphasize that anyone who stepped out of line would suffer a worst fate.
Everyone was suddenly very polite whenever Sukuna manifested. The threat was clearly so effective that no one wanted to be near Yuuji. But someone still had to take Yuuji to his missions and the person unfortunate enough to be stuck with this job was Ijichi. (Ijichi would like to keep his sanity, thank you very much. Gojo, however, volunteered Ijichi for the job. Now his stress levels are higher than ever.)
When Yuuji had a solo mission and Ijichi waited for him outside the dorms to drive him to where it was, Yuuji politely greeted the older man. Ijichi greeted Yuuji back and made sure to greet Sukuna, who had physically manifested.
“Good morning, Itadori-san. Good morning, Ryoumen-san.”
Sukuna, who had been following behind Yuuji (he really couldn’t manifest himself away from Yuuji so he didn’t really have a choice but be where Yuuji was gonna be. While Yuuji would’ve been glad if Sukuna didn’t manifest at all, Sukuna was a jerk and manifested out of principle of annoying the brat), stopped in his tracks and gave Ijichi the most evil glare the bespectacled man had ever seen.
“You dare soil my esteemed name with that filthy mouth of yours, peasant? You stand before royalt—”
Ijichi would’ve had a heart attack right then and there had Yuuji not put a hand on Sukuna’s face and pushed him away while giving Ijichi an apologetic look, “Don’t mind him, Ijichi-san. He’s more hormonal than usual today.”
“Get your hands off me, brat!” Sukuna demanded while smacking Yuuji’s hand away.
“Hai, hai, your majesty,” Yuuji said, unimpressed as he wiggled the hand Sukuna swatted. He didn’t even give him a backward glance and just moved to open the car and got it. “Now get your royal pain in the ass in the car or we’ll leave you here.”
Sukuna grumbled about brats and peasants and royal etiquette and decorum and how doomed the current century was as he stomped to the other side of the car and slammed the door shut.
Ijichi was still too stunned to speak that Yuuji had to remind him they had to leave before the other man moved where he was frozen.
In hindsight, Ijichi should’ve noticed that if Sukuna wanted to kill him right then and there, he definitely could’ve. Not to mention, he could’ve killed Yuuji for what he did, too, but didn’t.
He had not believed it but there had been a lot of rumors going around that, since his physical manifestation, the only reason the King of Curses hadn’t gone on a rampage even when he had his own physical body was because of his fondness for his vessel.
The higher ups quickly squashed this idea and said that the reason Sukuna couldn’t go on a rampage was because his powers were contained within Yuuji and he didn’t have the power to do as he pleased. Sukuna was a king under a tight leash.
However, it was clear Sukuna had some power in his command after what happened with that arrogant window. Ijichi was not sure if the higher ups were naive or delusional.
One thing was for sure, the higher ups wanted to take advantage of the leashed King of Curses at their disposal. Despite Yuuji not having any official rank yet, the moment Sukuna had manifested, he had been assigned the complex and special grade missions.
Still, as Ijichi watched the interaction between Yuuji and the King of Curses on his rearview mirror as he drove, it does beg the question of why someone who thinks so highly of himself would spare the boy who’s keeping him caged and contained.
Sukuna has been complaining about something pertaining to Yuuji’s choice of clothes and Yuuji still had this unimpressed look on his face as he watched the scenery go by, already looking tired as Sukuna droned on. It was a hilarious scene if it were anyone else. Like an old married couple.
It was an odd thought but it made Ijichi silently chuckle. If that wasn’t fondness then Ijichi doesn’t know what is.
When he looked at the rearview mirror again, unamused red eyes were boring in on him.
It startled Ijichi that the car swerved halfway through the next lane, surprising Yuuji and the car behind them enough that they were honked at. Ijichi quickly turned the car back to the proper lane.
“What the fuck, peasant!”
“Are you okay, Ijichi-san?” Yuuji asked in concern, leaning into the center console to check on the older man.
“Yes, I’m alright. I’m sorry, Itadori-san, I got distracted,” Ijichi said, deliberately avoiding looking at the rearview mirror in case he sees red and gets another heart attack. His hands trembled where they’re gripping on the steering wheel and his foot had frozen on the pedal. At least now he could make sure he wouldn’t accidentally accelerate and cause an accident on the highway. “I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
Ijichi heard a smack and a loud, “The hell, brat!”
“You distracted Ijichi-san, didn’t you?!”
“Lies! That peasant is as incompetent as he looks!”
“Dammit, Sukuna! How many times do I have to tell you to stop intimidating people?!”
“Your accusations are preposterous!”
There were more smacks and more threats than Ijichi felt comfortable during the entire ride. But in the end, Itadori remained intact and alive.
Perhaps it was more than just fondness.
But whatever Ijichi thought, he was definitely keeping it to himself.
Megumi had just arrived back at the dorms way past midnight after finishing his mission. He hadn’t expected it to take this long but he’s just glad to be able to get back.
First order of business was a shower to get the gunk and grime from the curse he just killed off. Then, food. Thank god Yuuji texted him that he left some onigiri and karaage him to eat when he arrived.
He found out early on that anything Yuuji made was sure to taste good so he was looking forward to it, especially after not being able to eat anything since breakfast.
From outside, he saw the lights from the kitchen were still on so he thought that Yuuji might still be awake.
Good! He liked Yuuji’s company. They could catch up on some stuff, especially since they’ve been on more separate missions than together ever since a certain someone manifested. He’d even willingly accompany Nobara on a shopping spree if it meant the three of them could have the normalcy they’ve haven’t had since Sukuna. Not that he’d say that out loud.
“How dare you make me wait, brat?”
And Megumi stopped in his tracks, hand hovering over the kitchen's door handle.
Of course, the curse, literally and figuratively, was going to be there.
“This is not something that can be made instantly, Sukuna. Geez. Learn to wait.” Came Yuuji’s exasperated response.
“A king does not wait! Such insolence shall not be tolerated!”
“Hai, hai, your majesty. Now shut up or I won’t finish this.”
Megumi’s mood just soured even more. And because he was feeling generous and spread the bad mood, he latched his fingers on the door handle and slid the door open.
A pair of red eyes turned unamusedly at him, but a pair of honey-golden eyes visibly brightened upon seeing him.
“Fushiguro! You’re back!”
Yuuji was wearing a yellow apron adorned with puppies and kittens, holding a pair of chopsticks on one hand, and had the brightest smile that cleansed Megumi’s soul.
Megumi’s sour mood definitely abated at seeing that.
Yuuji didn’t seem to notice the change in his demeanor but it seems the King of Curses did, what with him narrowing his eyes at Megumi.
Well, two can play this game.
He invited himself inside the kitchen and moved to stand on the side of the table across where Yuuji stood. There was a wide array of dishes on the table that there was almost no space left.
Megumi was acutely aware that Sukuna, lounging languidly at the end of the table on an ornate armchair that clearly didn’t belong in the kitchen, had been watching him closely. Sukuna rested his chin on his fist, scrolling boredly through Yuuji’s phone, pretending as if he didn’t care. But Megumi was certain the curse had sensed his presence the moment he arrived.
Megumi was never one to back down against a curse.
“How was your mission?” Yuuji asked, completely oblivious to the silent battle the men with him were fighting.
Megumi shrugged. “Nothing I couldn’t handle.” Yeah, he was flexing, so what? “What are you making at this late hour?”
The brightness from Yuuji’s face dropped as he rolled his eyes. “His majesty here demanded Osechi Ryori.”
“It’s not even New Year’s.”
“Exactly! Thank you so much, Fushiguro!” Yuuji exclaimed in validation.
“Less talk, more work, brat!” Sukuna interrupted. “You shall not delay my meal any longer than it already has been!”
Yuuji, with his chopsticks-clad hand on his hip and his free hand pointed at Sukuna, turned Sukuna, “No. You’re going to wait until it’s done. In the first place, you should be thankful I’m even doing this for you.”
Completely ignoring what Yuuji said, Sukuna held Yuuji’s phone up to him to show him a video of three souffle pancakes being stacked and glazed with sweet syrup. “I order you to do his next, servant.”
Yuuji groaned. “You know, why don’t you try helping instead of ordering me around? I will never let you borrow my phone anymore.” Then he went back to finishing the dishes in front of him. “Geez! You don’t even know how to say please or thank you! All you do is order and complain! You should starve until I’m done, you tyrant!”
Had it been anyone else, they’d be dead. Hell, a quick death is already merciful in Sukuna's book. But instead of retaliating like everyone expects him to, Sukuna simply returned to scrolling through videos on Yuuji’s phone, the sound of sizzling coming from the speaker.
Only Yuuji would get away with something like this.
Yuuji seemed to remember something and looked up at Megumi with a smile. “Ah, Fushiguro, your onigiri and karaage are in the fridge. You can reheat it in the microwave so it’s hot.”
Megumi returned Yuuji’s smile with a small one of his own, “Thanks.” He went to get his food from the fridge, feeling his stomach rumbling from hunger.
He didn’t know that a lopsided smirk had graced Sukuna’s lips as soon as Megumi turned his back on them.
The only sound in the room came from the videos Sukuna was watching as Yuuji continued what he was doing and Megumi stared at the empty fridge.
“You said it was here, Itadori?”
Yuuji turned to Megumi and nodded. “Yeah, it should be.”
Megumi closed the fridge with an impassive look that screamed, ‘It’s not.’
Yuuji quickly whipped his head to the unassumingly bored looking King of Curses at the end of the table. “Sukuna!”
“Oh? Is it done already?” he feigned.
Yuuji, now with both hands on his hips, stomped to where Sukuna was. “Did you eat the food I left for Fushiguro?”
Sukuna shrugged in nonchalance. “If you had not delayed my meal, I would not have resorted to eating peasant leftovers.” And grinned in the most unapologetic way.
“Those were not yours!”
“You should have placed a name on it then.”
Yuuji grit his teeth in irritation. “You know what, fine!”
Yuuji stomped towards the counter to get an empty plate and proceeded to fill it to the brim with the dishes he had finished making and gave it to Megumi.
“Oi!” Sukuna exclaimed, legs pushing the armchair back as he stood. “Those are mine!”
“No, it’s not! I made it so I’m giving it to whoever I want! If you weren’t such a jerk and ate Fushiguro’s food, this wouldn’t happen!”
Sukuna raised two fingers and the plate on Fushiguro’s hands cleanly split into four, all the food on the plate dropping to the floor. “It’s mine and I do whatever I want with it!”
“You…asshole! That’s it! I won’t cook for you anymore!”
“You don’t mean that!”
“You wanna bet?!”
Turns out the threat of Yuuji no longer cooking for Sukuna was a great threat because Yuuji was able to give another plate of food to Megumi. He had to eat his food in his room though, to avoid another catastrophe c/o a livid King of Curses and after a threat of, “Your days are numbered, Fushiguro Megumi, and the end shall come by my hand.”
Still, Megumi made sure to leave with a smirk on his face.
In the next couple of days, if Yuuji left any kind of food for Megumi with his name on it, it would magically disappear and be replaced with instant food. And if Sukuna asked (demanded) Yuuji to make food for him, he made sure there wouldn’t be any shadow user to disrupt them and finished everything down to the last bite.
Yuuji was still none the wiser so he pursed his lips in bemusement as he watched Sukuna finish the last drop of hotpot in the otherwise huge bowl they were sharing. He had originally wanted it to share with the others when they arrived, but apparently, the whole bowl was just enough for Sukuna.
“Wow, you must really be hungry to finish all that,” Yuuji commented. “You don’t even need food to survive so I don’t understand where this appetite’s coming from. Do curses get parasites in their system?”
Sukuna dropped the spoon he was using none too gently in offense. “Be grateful I even deigned to finish your peasant food, brat. That is one of the highest honors a king such as myself can bestow a lowly mortal like you.”
Yuuji rolled his eyes. “Hai, hai, whatever you say, your majesty”
Yuuji decided he’d make a bigger hotpot next time to share with the others, giddy at the prospect of eating with the rest of them. If Sukuna liked it, surely the others would, too.
Sukuna decided, nope, not while he was around.
(Everyone else had decided it was better to steer clear of the King of Curses’ possessiveness of Yuuji’s cooking and probably wiser for the entire population to steer clear of the King of Curse’s possessiveness of Yuuji himself.)
Mahito was told the King of Curses had unwillingly become docile after he was trapped inside his vessel and with no control of his own powers. He was told that Ryoumen Sukuna was so enraged by his vessel, he would willingly rip him to shreds had he had access to his powers. He was told it would be easy to get Sukuna to their side, just bribe him with the glory of what he could get if he was free of his vessel. All Mahito had to do was knock Itadori Yuuji out and Sukuna would have full control of the sorcerer’s body.
To make it more exciting, Mahito had Junpei befriend Yuuji then kill the boy in front of the sorcerer. He also planned to kill that bespectacled blond man just to hit the home run.
Mahito could already feel it. He was almost there. Sure, Itadori Yuuji packed a fight when he saw what Junpei turned into after Mahito used idle transfiguration on him. It even made Mahito run for it when he found out Yuuji could strike directly at his soul.
But as soon as he had trapped the blond sorcerer inside his domain, he was sure of his win. He would kill off the blond man, show his dead and mangled body to Yuuji, or maybe even turn him into his own doll and have him fight the student sorcerer. That should be enough to break his soul. And when he does, when he is broken enough that he’s unable to fight, Sukuna could take control of his body.
And the second golden age of sorcery would be upon them!
Oh, yes, Mahito could already feel his victory!
Only.
He didn’t expect the Itadori kid to break into his domain from the outside.
What shocked him most was when he was immediately transported to Sukuna’s innate domain, the King of Curses looking down on him from above his throne of skulls, holding an unconscious Itadori Yuuji on his lap.
This may not be the real King of Curses but it may as well be, for the man before him was the embodiment of Ryoumen Sukuna’s soul, cradling the embodiment of Itadori Yuuji’s wounded soul.
It was as if Sukuna’s soul was… protecting the boy’s.
But… why?
“You dare try to touch mine and this brat’s soul, scum? I alone shall own this purity and my soul alone shall be what is permitted to touch this immaculacy.” He raised two fingers. “Bu o wakimaero, shiremonoga.” And flicked.
Nanami’s eyes widened as the domain that he was sure was going to be his grave suddenly collapsed on itself.
“Nanamin!”
Nanami turned to see Yuuji on his knees after falling inside the domain, bleeding profusely on the ground but desperately trying to get up to help him.
The student had been worse for wear when Nanami arrived to help, knew he was running on adrenaline alone. But he still stood and fought despite the amount of blood he lost, the bones that broke, and the continued damage he took.
Nanami ran to Yuuji. He needed to protect him from this dangerous enemy. Even if the domain suddenly collapsed, Mahito could still have enough power to kill them.
As soon as he got to Yuuji, he heard a splash and a loud, gurgling sound. He looked up to see the special grade curse’s trembling body, numerous slits decorating it and blood spewing from each one. The gurgling sound came from the deep gash from each side of the neck as if the curse was choking on his own blood.
He could only see half of the curse’s body, the other half was covered by a man in a white kimono and blue and white patterned obi. By the way his back looked, Nanami deduced this as someone who looked like Yuuji. But the way he posed himself was someone completely different.
He had been told that the King of Curses had sometimes manifested when he wanted, but he had never done so whenever Yuuji was with Nanami.
Until now, that is.
He wasn’t even doing anything, simply stood there with his arms crossed. But the continued barrage of slits and cuts on the enemy didn’t end until he was left a filleted mess and dissipated into nothing.
The King of Curses was just about to face him when he felt Yuuji pass out in his arms and he knew he had to prioritize the heavily wounded student.
“Take him to that lady doctor, peasant.” was all Nanami heard and when he looked up, the physical manifestation of the King of Curses was no longer there.
Yaga, Gojo, and the rest of the teachers and sorcerers present during the Goodwill event were summoned to a meeting with the higher ups after the near-catastrophe that almost ended in all of their students massacred.
The higher ups, who were conveniently hidden behind individual shoji doors that surrounded the principals and teachers, were quick to blame them for their incompetence in allowing the death paintings and the rest of Sukuna’s fingers in their possession to be taken by their enemy. Nevermind that the teachers were busy protecting the students, the higher ups insisted that if the students were going to be successful sorcerers, they would have to be able to fight those curses on their own. How hard could it be when there was only one special grade present while the other two were small fries? There were ten sorcerer students, a handful of them were grade 1 or semi-grade 1, and one who had the power of the King of Curses! They should’ve left the special grade to be handled by the vessel alone!
Yaga and Gakuganji retained a carefully neutral expression, Mei Mei’s business smile was still plastered on her face, Shoko was expressionless, while Utahime looked ready to berate someone but was holding her tongue. She really couldn’t do anything against the higher ups.
Only Gojo, who had the capacity to overpower each higher up present, could openly disrespect them. Clapping his hand twice and saying, “Now, now, let’s not blame the kids. They did their best! If someone hears you say that, they’d be pissed you know!”
“Gojo Satoru! As the self-proclaimed strongest, you should have guarded the school and all the items that had been taken! Now they are going to lure Ryoumen Sukuna and that rotten vessel with the fingers they took!”
“Ara, ara, you shouldn’t look down on Yuuji-kun! He’s a lot more dependable than he looks!”
“I have heard that the physical manifestation of Ryoumen Sukuna had been showing himself more and more,” another higher up said. “That is concrete proof that the wretched vessel meant to contain him is not dependable at all!”
“I move to have his execution hastened!” Another higher up called. “We must get rid of this pest before he fails to control it!”
“I would agree!” came another higher up.
“Eh, but we’ve talked about this already, haven’t we?” Gojo said, feigning nonchalance. Deep inside, he is already enraged, six eyes wide open against the blindfold and already calculating all the cursed energy being emitted by each higher up and how much it would take to shut them up.
“Enough of your nonsense, Gojo Satoru!” the first higher up who spoke said. “This is a matter of great catastrophe. We must avoid the abomination, Ryoumen Sukuna, from—”
“Who do you think you are, peasant, to utter my exalted name with disrespect?”
Every higher up in the room froze.
Sukuna approached with the arrogance of a king and made his way to the center, just a few steps away from where the teachers were.
Yaga, Gakuganji, and Utahime tensed to fight. Shoko remained impassive, Mei Mei, despite the smile on her face, found her fingers twitching for her missing weapon. Gojo grinned.
“Gojo Satoru,” one of the higher ups said in a trembling voice, “you have to protect us from this abomination.”
“Abomination?” Sukuna asked with a raised brow. “You peasants should be on your knees and bowing towards your king.”
“Gojo Satoru! Kill him!”
“Fools.” Sukuna raised a hand and flicked his fingers and all shoji doors were slashed, revealing each and every frightened higher up for all to see. Sukuna made sure to look at each one of them, smiling. “Be grateful that your king devoted the time to commit your wretched visages to memory. Should any of you dare to conspire on the untimely death of my vessel, know this: you shall beg for death, and I shall take great pleasure in denying it. The brat is mine to kill, and mine alone. Do I make myself clear?
Silence.
“I said,” Sukuna opened the palm of his raised hand, before curling it into a fist as he jerked it down. The effect was instantaneous, as each higher up was forcibly made to bow, their foreheads slamming on the ground against their will. “Do I make myself clear?”
Terrified choruses of yeses and confirmation echoed from each higher up as Sukuna’s smile widened.
“Good.”
And just like that, Sukuna’s physical manifestation disappeared as the heavy force forcing the higher ups on the ground vanished. All of them called for Gojo Satoru to kill the boy, all of them spewed their own threats at the humiliation they suffered.
In response, Gojo let out a loud laugh, something that shocked Gakuganji and Utahime, made Mei mei smile a knowing smile, made Yaga retain his neutral expression, made Shoko shake her head, and silenced all the pitiful higher ups.
Gojo had heard rumors of Sukuna’s fondness of his vessel, heard his students’ complaints of his possessiveness over Yuuji, heard from Nanami how Sukuna protected Yuuji when he was already unable to fight that special grade, and saw Sukuna mentor Yuuji on his fight with the tree-like special grade. Not only that but Gojo felt Sukuna’s own cursed technique increase.
He heard from that rack-obsessed sorcerer that they had to retreat earlier than expected because they failed to get everything they needed. At the same time, Gojo was sure the students were recuperating in the infirmary, yet Sukuna was able to manifest himself here. Usually, he was only able to manifest within a 10-meter radius where Yuuji was, but they were definitely farther and deeper away from where the students were. He would’ve felt Yuuji’s cursed energy if he were here no matter how faint, but he hadn’t even noticed Sukuna until a few seconds before he manifested.
Gojo could only conclude that either Sukuna had always been able to do this and was hiding his real capacity or he had also gotten his hands on the fingers the school kept. Gojo was sure it was both.
This was a great development.
He didn’t even need to pull the strings using his name anymore. Sukuna would protect Yuuji on his own. Sukuna had developed a fondness for Yuuji, which had turned into possessiveness and protectiveness. How it had developed into this, he didn’t know. And there was still the threat of Sukuna himself hurting Yuuji. But the probability of the higher ups hurting Yuuji was higher than the probability of Sukuna hurting Yuuji.
Sukuna was a complex character. He was sure there was something in Yuuji that made him special to Sukuna, a connection maybe? But how? That was the big question. And right now, only Sukuna knew.
“Gojo Satoru!” one of the higher ups shouted. “I order you to execute Itadori Yuuji!”
Goji grinned towards the higher up, said, “Well, good luck with that!”, put his hands in his pockets and whistled off tune as he left.
Ah, this was a great development indeed.
A few days later, as Gojo was coming back from a mission, a call of “Sensei!” caught Gojo’s attention and turned his head to find Yuuji waving animatedly at him.
Sukuna was standing not far from where Yuuji was, arms crossed and a desire to kill evident in those crimson eyes.
Ah, so this was what Megumi felt when he complained about Sukuna being a possessive prick. Should he tease him? That’d be fun.
He saw the scorch marks on the ground and the dirt on Yuuji’s clothes, indicating that he had been training with Sukuna.
Hmm, maybe he’ll tease the curse at another time. He tends to be harder on Yuuji whenever he’s jealous. Not that Yuuji couldn’t take it but Yuuji deserves the slack too.
So Gojo waved back at Yuuji and blew him an obnoxious kiss.
“Eh?” was Yuuji’s cute reaction just as the metaphorical steam came out of Sukuna’s nose.
Gojo grinned as he continued on his merry way. If looks could kill! Ha!
“Get back to your training, brat!” Sukuna shouted. “This is why you are so weak! You are easily distracted! You should be thankful a king like me has even given you the time of day! I shall no longer tolerate any insolence and disrespect from you!”
Yuuji heaved a sigh as he faced Sukuna again, “Hai, hai, don’t get your panties in a twist.”
“I do not have my panties in a twist!”
Yuuji paused and looked at Sukuna in surprise, “I didn’t even know you wore them, Sukuna.”
A pause before Sukuna deadpanned, “I shall skin you alive!”
Yuuji laughed, the holding-his-stomach-and-throwing-his-head-back kind of laugh.
“Relax, Sukuna, I was joking, I was joking! Geez! If you forgive me, I’ll make you the meanest gyudon you ever tasted!”
Sukuna paused again, actually considering Yuuji’s offer (because no one, not even the King of Curses, could deny the greatness of Yuuji’s cooking). “I shall not share.”
Yuuji rolled his eyes. “Fine, fine, you gluttonous prick.”
Crimson eyes narrowed. “What did you call me?”
And, in the fakest French accent Yuuji could muster, answered, “I said, ‘ I shall prepare ze finest gyudon your refined tastes shall ever experience, Your Majesty!’ ”
Sukuna only gave him a deadpan look. “Get back to your stance before I cut your tongue out of your mouth for disgracing the French.”
Yuuji looked at Sukuna surprised. “You know about the Fre— oh, I just remembered! There’s this place selling crepes nearby! D’you wanna go this weekend, Sukuna?”
Sukuna regarded Yuuji. “And is this crepe you speak of worth my royal palate?”
“Duh! I won’t be recommending it if it’s not good.”
“Fine. But the owner of that establishment shall suffer my wrath if it does not satisfy my standards.”
Yuuji gave him two-finger guns and winked. “You should be prepared to be blown away!”
Sukuna almost said that he’d rather Yuuji make the crepe on his own but stopped himself and instead said, “You should prepare yourself to be blown away by me if you do not go back to your training!”
Yuuji laughed. “Hai, hai, Your Majesty.”
