Satoru sighs as he finishes off the second-grade curse. This is getting ridiculous, the higher-ups sure love messing with his life. Honestly, the mission was too easy for someone like him. But then again, it’s a good thing it’s easy, it means he can get home and meet his children early.
It’s been a few days since Yuji has stayed with them. Satoru can say that Yuji adjusted quickly. Not only that, but within the span of those few days, Megumi already warmed up to Yuji. Honestly Satoru can’t blame him, Yuji is the literal definition of sunshine.
Satoru was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a cursed energy near him. It was small, and not yet developed, it felt more like a child. Satoru narrowed his eyes when he felt another cursed energy much bigger than the child.
Satoru eyes widen as he realizes what’s going on

Satoru quickly teleports towards where the cursed energies are. That’s when he sees a child being chased by a cursed spirit, a grade one cursed spirit.
“Blue,” with a precise aim, Satoru exorcised the cursed spirit with ease.
Satoru walks towards the child, who is looking at the cursed spirit remnants with shock.
“You all right?” Satoru asked, concerned. Seeing the man, the child points at Satoru.
“Who are you, old man?!”
Hearing this Satoru did a double take.
Old man?!
Satoru makes an offended noise.
“I’m not that old! Besides, I’ll have you know I just graduated from high school!”
“Really?” the kid asked, skeptical.
“With that white hair, you might be mistaken as an old man. Not only that, but a creepy old man,”
Creepy old man?!
Seriously, what is with children nowadays? Their tongue could probably exorcise a cursed spirit alone. Megumi himself was like that.
“I just saved you, and this is the thanks I got?” the child blushed and stammered.
“W-well I could handle it by myself!” Satoru raises his eyebrow, making the child scowl.
“T-thank you…,” the child mumbles, not looking at Satoru. Satoru sighs and kneels in front of the child.
“So, what’s your name?” The child looks towards Satoru and grins.
“Kugisaki Nobara, better remember that old man!”
“Kugisaki, you can see the cursed spirit?”
“Is that what those disgusting creatures are?” Nobara asked confused
“Yes, they are cursed spirits, creatures that are born from negative emotion,” Satoru explained, making Nobara look contemplative.
“Speaking of, what are you doing here alone?” Satoru asked, concerned about what’s a child out here alone.
“Well, I was playing when that creature noticed me. I tried to tell the teacher but he didn’t believe me and told me not to disturb him. I ran and well, it chased me,” Satoru lowers his infinity and pats Nobaea’s head.
“There, there, how about we go back to your school hm? The teacher must be worried that you ran off,” Nobara looks conflicted but she nods in agreement.
Both Satoru and Nobara walk back to school together. Along the way, Satoru explains about cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers.
“So there’s a whole school for jujutsu sorcerers?” Nobara looks interested.
“Yes, there are two branches, one is in Tokyo while the other is in Kyoto,”
“I want to join!” Nobara cuts Satoru before he can explain further. Satoru looks towards Nobara who is looking at him with a hopeful expression.
“Well, you can join in the future, after all, it’s a high school. However, I will need to talk to your parents about this,” Nobara pouts but nods in agreement.
As they finally reach Nobara’s school, a teacher and what looks to be two adults are arguing with each other. Nobara runs towards them and yells.
“Mom! Dad!”
The two adults, whom Satoru realizes are Nobara’s parents, turn towards them. They look relieved to see Nobara unharmed. The woman runs to Nobara to check on her.
“Nobara! Where were you? Why did you run? Are you hurt?” The woman asks frantically. Nobara shakes her head.
“The old man behind me helps me,” Satoru was caught off guard at what Nobara said.
“I’m not that old!” Satoru yells. All eyes suddenly found themself on Satoru.
“You are the one who helped my daughter? Thank you!” Nobara's mother bows.
“It’s no problem, my name is Gojo Satoru. However, I have something to discuss with you both, Kugisaki-san,” Satoru says seriously
“I see, well it’s best to discuss somewhere else,”
“Can I join?” Nobara asked
“School isn’t over yet Kugisaki, not only that with you running off like that, you’re in big trouble young lady!” The teacher looks towards Nobara with contempt, making Nobara scowl at him.
“Nobara also needs to hear about this, this concerns her,” Satoru says sharply, making the man spluttered.
While Satoru can’t really blame the man who can’t see the cursed spirit. But at the same time, he could calm a child in distress.
The man was about to argue when Satoru glared at him from behind his sunglasses making the man flinch.
“F-fine, Kugisaki you are dismissed,” Satori smirks and turns towards Nobara and her family
“Well, let’s talk shall we,”
And that’s how Satoru ends up in the Kugisaki family house. Satoru calmly explains things about what happened that made Nobara run away.
Although Nobara’s parents are a bit skeptical, they quickly change their minds when they see Satoru use a bit of cursed energy.
“So you wish to enroll in Jujutsu High School in the future?” Nobara’s mother asks, looking towards Nobara. Nobara nods eagerly.
“I want to be a jujutsu sorcerer! I want to meet more people like me and I… I want to explore outside the village,” seeing the conflicted look on Nobara’s parents, Satoru decides to interfere.
“I understand that you both are worried, but don’t worry I will be there to protect and guide Nobara as a teacher. Not only that, but I also have a son who will enroll in Tokyo Jujutsu High School,”
“You have a son?”
“I'm the guardian of three children. However, only Megumi can see cursed spirits,” Satoru smiles as he talks about his children. Yes, on paper, he may be their guardian, and they are his wards, but they are his children.
“I see, all right then. We will entrust Nobara's safety to you,”
“Yes!” Nobara yells excitedly, she can’t wait for high school.
“I have an idea,” Satoru says, making everyone turn to him.
“How about this Saturday I’ll take Nobara to meet the other children. It will be great for her to know her future classmate,”
“Hm, that may be a good idea. What do you say Nobara?” Nobara looks excited, she nods eagerly.
“I want to meet them!” Seeing this, Satoru chuckles.
“Then I’ll pick you up this Saturday,”
Satoru then pulls out a pen and paper, writes his phone number, and then gives it to Kugisaki’s parents.
“This is my phone number, if you need anything just give me a call,”
“All right, thank you Gojo-san,”
With that Satoru leaves the village to report back to the higher-ups.
As days pass, Satoru teleports back in front of Kugisaki’s house. There he can already see Nobara and her mother in front of the house. Both of them look shocked seeing Satoru suddenly appear in front of them. Nobara’s mother composes herself and says,
“I’ll leave Nobara to you then Gojo-san,”
“Don’t worry, she’ll be back before 6,” Satoru takes Nobara’s eager hand, and both of them teleport to Satoru’s house.
“So this is your house?” Nobara asks, impressed. Satoru grins feeling smug.
“Yes, come on now the others are waiting,”
With that, Satoru and Nobara enter the house. They are both greeted by Megumi, Yuji, and Tsumiki, who are excitedly waiting for them, although Megumi is more hidden.
Nobara narrows her eyes looking at each and one of Satoru’s wards.
That black hair looks like a cold, stuck-up person. While the pink-haired one looks like an excited puppy. The girl, she’s so pretty.
Nobara sighs, making the others look at her confused.
“Is something the matter?” Yuji asks, Nobara shakes her head.
“No, anyway My name’s Kugisaki Nobara,” Yuji beams at her.
“Nice to meet you! My name is Itadori Yuji, this is Fushiguro Megumi and that’s Megumi’s sister, Fushiguro Tsumiki!” Yuji points to both Megumi and Tsumiki.
“Nice to meet you Kugisaki-chan,” Tsumiki bows while Megumi just nods at Nobara.
“Well, introductions are done! How about we watch a movie? It’s a great way to bond!” Satoru claps his hands making the children turn towards him.
“Now, what do you all want to watch?”
With that Nobara and Yuji both excitedly yell what movie they want to watch while Tsumiki and Megumi are staring at them. Satoru laughs at their enthusiasm.
Well, today’s going to be a great day
