My girlfriend went on a trip for her idol duties.
It’s been…two months already.
I poured myself a cup of coffee, then looked at her cup which is placed beside mine. After a second thought, I poured some coffee in there. I grabbed one from that pile of magazines and started flipping through the pages carefully. When I saw her face appearing in the magazine, the corners of my mouth still couldn‘t help but go up, as her lovely voice started to play in a loop in my mind.
After testing her “Good morning!” I tidied our home again, took back the laundry and at this time, the phone finally made a “ding” sound.
That’s the sound of receiving a message!
I randomly threw the clothes to the sofa and ran to pick up my phone. “Good morning, Tsukasa-kun! (´⌣`ʃƪ)”
Kyaaa—! The emoticon she used is so cute!! My girlfriend is super cute!!!
“I have good news! Do you want to take a guess?” Oh? Uhm…
“What happened to Kiritani-san?” It has to be about Kiritani-san, after all, the things that make her happy are more or less related to Kiritani-san.

The person outside the door has really picked the worst time to visit. Due to the time zone differences, chatting with my girlfriend is as rare as when Emu stops saying Wonderhoi, Nene stops cussing me, and Rui not thinking about anything about sending me to the sky!
“It seems like someone is outside the door, I will be back soon,” I texted her quickly then walked to the door, controlling myself not to get mad at the random person.
“May I help… you…”
“I am back, Tsukasa-kun!”
That person opened her hands, with that big, bright smile on her face…
It is my favorite person, and the smile I liked the most in my life…
“Mi…Mino…ri…” I slowly spit out her name.
My girlfriend’s name.
“Sniff…” Uncontrollably, my tears started to drop from my eyes, and I ran to hug her instantly, afraid that it was just my imagination, and she would leave me again. But she is standing right here, softly rubbing my back, and repeatedly saying “I am back,” in her gentle tone—
“I miss you,” I said softly, with tears in my eyes. "So much,"
She wiped away my tears with her fingertips gently, and kissed my trembling lips.
“I miss you too.”
