I KNOW YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THIS BUT YOU HAVE TO TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING
Ok a little OC background just so you guys aren't confused. My OC Alex is a pyromaniac and he used to burn down old and abandoned buildings but his mom (we love her) got him some therapy for it once she found out, but he still sometimes lights small fires like in trash cans or fireworks or something like that. So that’s where the whole arson thing is coming from. (he’s mostly just trolling in these tweets but it is still a bit of a problem). He has some nicknames and goes by Bird, and Jonathan sometimes calls him Lexi or Lex. Alex also has heterochromia (one blue one brown eye) just like Jay in this fic so they will have some bonding over that.
My OC Jonathan goes by a million different nicknames (John, Johnnie or johnny, snag [he has a snaggle tooth and got bullied for it and called snag but now Alex calls him it in an endearing way], collin, collins, cole (lol) ,and J). He was also an alcoholic when he was 13-16 but Alex helped him stop drinking too often (and using it as his main coping mechanism) but he still does drink (he’s just not an alcoholic anymore). So if there are any jokes about alcohol that's what they are about. ALSO Jonathan has a red birthmark on the left side of his face all around his eye and below is the right one. (he is also mean on first impressions it's solely because he's being defensive because of being bullied for his looks in the past)
They both live in Alex’s moms (Susan) house because Jonathan ran away when he was 15 (his parents were abusive and transphobic) and Alex's mom is too sweet for her own good, and they are now 16(Alex) and 17(Jonathan) (Jonathan is technically not legally allowed to live in Susans house but shes chill and wont tell and his parents don't care that he left, they hated him anyway). Jonathan and Alex are still in high school, junior year, (Jonathan got held back freshman year) and they got together in freshman year (Jonathan’s second one Alex's first).
Ok last little bits of information so you aren't confused, in this universe the ninja are all teens. Jay- 16, Cole- 18, Kai- 17, Zane- 17( kinda), Nya- 15, Pixal- 17 (kinda), Lloyd- 15 (the age up didn't happen in this AU so he is just 15). So the ninja and my OCs go to the same high school (the same one as in the movie), Cole and Zane are seniors, while Kai and Jay are juniors and Nya and Jay are sophomores, and Alex and Jonathan are both juniors. The ninja in this AU live in the monastery with WU and their identities are a secret from the public. Pixel doesn't go to school, she doesn't see the need to and just stays in the monastery with WU and does whatever while the ninja are at school. Also Morro in this is Lloyds older cousin, he is a senior and friends with Jonathan and Alex (and also their dealer). Morro lives in the monastery with the ninja but isn't seen there often. (he’s usually out doing stuff and sometimes sleeps over at Alex's house)
