Autumn was a time when the world prepared for a deep sleep. Animals stored up food for the upcoming months, while plants shed their unneeded parts to prepare to rest until Spring.
Preparations were made in the apartment of the Forger family as well. Loid made sure they had the proper clothing for winter, Yor went over all the household goods in preparation, and Anya…well, Anya didn’t really need to do much.
When they were done, Loid looked around proudly. A real family couldn’t have done any better. The Forgers were ready for whatever the future held for them.
