Work Text:

It was 12pm, Mashiro should be doing work right now as he was at work, but also because he enjoyed doing them but for some reason he was distracted by a noise.

He looked down at his wrist and stared at the bracelet Kang had made him the other day.

The bracelet has two colors yellow and white and there were letters on the theard that spelled 'Kang'.

Earlier today before leaving for work Mashiro had debated if he should wear the bracelet with him to work or not. He was honestly a bit embarrassed of it, not because it was something from Kang but because it didn't really match Mashiro.

Mashiro had seen terrible things. He had seen sex trafficking, drugs, etc. He even seen Crush beat and kill people to the point you couldn't even figure out how they looked like before, and he had clean those bodies up.

So this bright and silly bracelet wasn't really something that matched Mashiro, but he wore it anyways because he wouldn't have been able to handle seeing Kang disappointed and if he is being a little honest it makes him a bit happy to wear.

Only a bit tho.

Mashiro played with the bracelet a little, he thought back to yesterday when Kang had given him it.

─────

Kang had gotten home early from a mission and texted Mashiro teasing with saying stuff like ' Hehe I'm home before you!!! (*ゝωб*) ' but Mashiro just sighed and muted Kang dm.

Mashiro had gotten home around 7pm, thankfully he wasn't buried in paperwork that day.

He then grabbed his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door. He lived together with Kang so it wasn't a surprise to see his lover on the ground working on something on the coffee table.

Mashiro hanged his coat and took his shoes off, he then placed his bag to the side and sat on the couch behind Kang.

"What are you doing?"

Mashiro was curious to what Kang was doing because he was very concentrated on it to the point where he didn't run up to Mashiro and almost make him fall over the moment he entered the door.

Kang hummed in response, "It's a secret hehe!"

Kang giggled as he continued to work on whatever he was doing.

Although Mashiro would never admit this outloud, he secretly loved it whenever Kang would cling onto him, he didn't know why but it gave him so much joy.

So obviously it wasn't a surprise that Mashiro was slowly but secretly getting annoyed.

"What's the big secret? Are you secretly writing down a plan to kill me?"

Mashiro joked, he didn't usually joke as he never really knew how but since Kang wasn't saying anything he felt like he had to.

"What!!! No!! How could I ever kill my sweet precious cute lovely awesome amazing little boyfriend???" Kang said whining.

The moment Mashiro heard those words he cringed. What had made it worse was that Mashiro knew that Kang meant every word..

Mashiro didn't even know what to say to continue the conversation because he was never the type to make small talk with people.

Mashiro sighed and leaned back onto the couch. He was exhausted, which was understandable. Although he enjoyed doing paperwork it still sometimes would exhauste him, and since he was finally taking a break after being buried in paperwork the past few days it made his body tired.

Without realizing it he fell asleep.

He was woken up to Kang shaking him, " ─ke, hey wake up!"

Mashiro groaned. He slowly opened his eyes and was greeted with the sight of Kang face. He still couldn't believe sometimes just how beautiful this boy was, it was unbelievable.

"Yes? What is it Kang?"

Mashiro rubbed his eyes pushing his body up from the couch.

Kang grinned and grabbed something and then hid it before his back.

"Guess what I have right now!"

Mashiro groaned once again.. He had always hated the guessing game.

"A paper telling me how much you love me and wish to hug me to death"

Kang then gasp before saying, "Ah! Gosh darn it, I should have done that too.. I'll do it next time!"

Mashiro was joking when he said that but hearing Kang answer made him blush slightly.

"I was joking idiot.." That just made Kang grin.

"Well? What is it" Mashiro honestly wanted to lie down, maybe with Kang, and just sleep forever but he couldn't right now.

Kang giggled before slowly bringing his hands to the front of his body.

"3.. 2..1.. Boom!"

Kang then opened his hands and inside of them, resting at his palms were two matching bracelets.

One of them them had the colors yellow and white with the name Kang on it, and the other had black and red with his name on it.

".. Matching bracelets?"

Mashiro was confused for a second, he didn't understand why Kang was showing him this.

"Matching bracelets for us dummy!! It's for us to wear heh!"

Kang then grabbed Mashiro hand and shoved the yellow and white one into his hands.

"You get the one with my name on it because I'm your boyfriend and I get the one with your name on it because your my boyfriend!" Kang grinned proudly, clearly proud of himself.

Mashiro blushed even more at Kang words.

"Thanks.." He stared at the bracelets for a bit before he decided to wear it on. (He only placed it on because Kang was about to burn a hole into his head)

Mashiro had to hold back a smile to seeing Kang smile so widely at seeing Mashiro put the bracelet on. Maybe it wasn't so bad wearing the bracelets.

Kang then quickly placed his bracelet onto his wrist and smiled even wider (if that was even possible) as he placed his arm next to Mashiro arm and compared them.

"We're matching now oh my god!!!" Mashiro was worried that Kang might explode from happiness but he didn't, somehow..

Mashiro looked past Kang and saw a bracelet kit on the table, that explains on what Kang was working on earlier when he came home.

"So your were working on this when I came home which was why you didn't immediately run up to me like you always did?"

Kang grinned slightly as he hugged Mashiro waist, "Aw was someone sad because I didn't give them attention.."

Mashiro flinched.

"No I wasn't. I was relieved in fact when you didn't." Mashiro looked away from Kang.

"Oh, so you won't mind if I stop doing it right, since your basically saying that" Kang was so obviously teasing Mashiro but Mashiro fell for it.

"I never said that.." Mashiro mumbled under his breath while looking away.

"Hm? I didn't hear you~" Kang slightly teased Mashiro.

"I said I never said that you needed to stop." Mashiro raised his voice more so Kang could hear him

Kang was quiet for a moment before speaking, "Awww!!! Your so cute Mashiro, give me a kiss!" Kang then tried kiss Mashiro face

"Ugh no get away!" Mashiro said pushing Kang back and blushing even more.

─────

Mashiro smiled as he remembered yesterday, it was fun, he wished they could always be like that.

He played with a bracelet slightly and thought of Kang before quickly started to continue doing his work so he could leave.

Soon it was time for Mashiro to leave and he never seen himself leave so fast as he did now. He really wanted to see Kang right now, he didn't know why.

─────

Mashiro took his keys out, unlocked the door and entered.

Before he could even take his shoes off after he closed the door, he was met with Kang slamming into him hugging him.

"I missed you so much!!!! I was thinking about you all day while I worked heh"

Mashiro had to catch his breath before responding, "That's nice but please let me take my shoes off before you slam into me, please."

Kang just whined in response to that.

He truly did love Kang a lot.
