Ah... nothing like the soft blow of the wind in the afternoon, the sun slowly sets in the distance, a faint orange and pink shade illluminating in the sky, the soft glow of the sun and the relief of the weekdays finally ending of a chilly friday. though, relief wasn't what one student felt on her way home...
Nene was that one student, on her way to her neighbors house, aka Rui's house feeling not relieved, she got a note from Rui, stuck to her locker, reading its contents and finding out Rui's main reason to call her over. well... not fully, she still needs to figure out what they'll be talking about, maybe the current changes in the SEKAI, roses and carnations started blooming and the sunlight was mostly pink for some reason. it was a change they should get used to.
with the SEKAI aside, she thought about any other topics Rui might need to talk about, a new show probably? nah, Rui mostly talks that out with Tsukasa, maybe just to hangout? they'll still land on Tsukasas place anyway, something was definitely going on with Rui. If it didn't lead to Tsukasa helping him out, then possibilites of Tsukasa being involved is high.
arriving in front of the Kamishiro residence, Nene took a deep breath, maybe she's thinking too much. maybe Rui just needed something and it involved Nene, she raised her hand to knock, gently tapping her knuckles on the door.
after a few seconds of waiting, the door slowly swung open, revealing Rui with messy hair, Nene couldn't help but laugh.
"You called me over just to look at your shitty look? you look like a mess!" Nene laughed.
Rui huffed, crossing his arms, he rolled his eyes.
"Haha, very funny. I didn't call you for that..."
"Well sorry for pointing out your miserable look. Why'd you call me here anyway?"
Nene asked, imitating Ruis pose, crossing her arms as well.
Rui and Nene shared a silence for a moment, the other glaring at the other, whos also glaring up the other... this narration is getting confusing, they better make this quick.
Rui sighed, stepping away from the door frame.
"Fine, come in, wait in my room while I get some things for a second."
Nene nodded, watching Rui turn around and walk away. She stepped in, taking off her shoes and made her way to the familiar path to Rui's room, she still doesn't get how important some random conversation would be that he had to call her. for what? something that could be sorted out in one sitting?
currently sitting on the rug in Ruis mess of a room, though it wasn't as messy as the last time she saw it, probably because Tsukasa would scold him for having a messy room, she really couldn't agree more, Rui is one unorganized person that needs actual supervision, and Tsukasa is the perfect person for all of that. might as well become Ruis housewife! she really needs to praise Tsukasa for the change he has done for Rui.
This left her thinking... the chances that they might be talking about Tsukasa today are really high, so... she'll make a guess that if this about his feeling for Tsukasa, she'll take Emu on a date on that roller coaster that she keeps nagging her about.
Rui comes back with a mug of tea, placing it on a coffee table that some how fit in the room thats filled with things in every square inch.
he took a sit on his (uhm...) bed-couch(? if things are supposed to be used for multi purpose, then Rui might be taking advantage of all of that...) and leaned back with an exasperated sigh.
"I've been waiting long enough for you to speak." Nene complained, In which Rui just grumbled and rolled his eyes.
"J-Just be patient, Okay? It's hard to get out..." Rui replied.
"Oh come on, You're always the person to randomly say something from your mind and you're holding back now? Tell me." The diva replied, almost seeming pissed at Rui's secretive behavior.
"Are you always this impatient?" The other barked back.
"Five."
"Wha- You can't be serious-!"
"Four."
"Nene, you're better than this-"
"Three."
"Nene-"
"Two."
"Tsukasa confessed to me! Okay!?" Rui finally yelled
"Finally you-" Nene's eyes almost popped out from how fast and wide she immediately opened them. Her stare was directed to a wall, then at Rui.
"He WHAT!?!" She yelled, probably almost the loudest she has ever yelled. Probably.
Rui scoffed. "Now that I tell you, you won't listen?"
"No- I heard it the first time, I just... Can't really believe that..." Nene trailed off
"That he likes me?" Rui's expression turned nervous, almost flustered.
"That I was right all along!" Nene added with a gasp.
Then the others expression changed once more, almost to one of annoyance or probably disappointment.
"Nene, I swear to god...! be serious goddamn it!"
Nene was in disbelief, the fact that she had almost predicted what Rui was gonna talk about. she was almost gonna start jumping around, telling Rui about how she was right.
but, she was able to calm herself down, maybe thinking about her subtle foreshadowing might make things serious... not that she wanted to listen to Rui.
"So uh... what did you say?" Nene asked, leaning back on the floor. Since it was obvious that Rui liked him back, its not a second thought that Rui would accept the-
"I didn't say anything." Rui replied.
you gotta be shitting. Rui.
"What? why the fuck not?" Nene almost yelled, shocked at Rui's words. its not possible... HOW DID THIS IDIOT NOT SAY ANYTHING???
"I... Didn't know what to say! I mean, its Tsukasa! he's my best friend!" Rui replied.
"And?? do you not want to be more that friends with him?" Nene replied back. she was almost angry at Rui for not even saying anything. NOT A SINGLE THING.
"I don't know! he likes me, that's great, amazing, glorious even! its just that... fuck, I'm not sure! okay? its- its just- love is confusing!"
if Nene ever wanted to slap some sense onto Rui, she would love to do so.
"I mean, he's creative, handsome, kind, selfless, cute..."
if ever she hears another he says about Tsukasa, she swears she will thrash. Rui is literally fantasizing about him right now! how can this dense ass motherfucker not know what the fuck love feels like!? and most importantly, how does he not like him??
"Rui, have you even thought about what you are saying?? its obvious how much you love him! take a goddamn hint!"
Nene couldn't help but yell, she wasn't in the right mood to do this...
"I-I do! he means so much to me! he's... special! he's my star!" Rui sunk on his seat, a groan escaping him, how devastated he felt, obviously not knowing how to genuinely feel. Nene almost felt bad.
"Rui. Tell me, like literally tell me what you felt after he confessed. make things so much easier for both of us." Nene said, she sighed, finally having a way to give Rui a hint.
Rui dropped his head, "hm... I guess I felt... happy? I mean, he spoke genuinely... he spoke really quickly actually..."
"Rui... You are my dearest director, my best friend, my pair and I really really wanna say that I really like you and I know that you might look at me differently after this but I really wish that we'll still be best friend and forget about this if you dont like me back butifyoueverdoIwannabeyourboyfriendifyou'dlike! goodbye!"
Rui still remembers it vividly... even the last few words...
"But with his confession aside... Tsukasa made me feel... loved, geniunely, he made me feel so much that I haven't felt before and I'm really greatful for him, that he changed my life and... I.. I..."
"I love him..."
Nene could almost feel the relief reaching her, glad that Rui had finally realized
"good, there you go, Now you know!" she gathered her things that are all in her bag (obivously) and stood up.
"Now Im gonna go now. you figure out what you do with that confession ane love life of yours because I have I date to go to and you wasted my time being oblivious and stupid and goodbye." Then Nene walked away without another word. feeling like a job has been done.

"Great job everyone! We'll see you again tomorrow after school!"
the sun was setting once again. another rehearsal for their next show. Rui took the chance to finally reply to Tsukasa's confession. after Tsukasa's announcement to finally leave. right before rehearsals even started, he had already told Tsukasa to meet up at the back after practice.
now standing infront of Tsukasa, who was a little nervous.
"So... did you need anythin-"
"I like you too," Rui blurted out, his face was serious, though it held so much emotions.
Tsukasa's heart skipped a beat, his eyes widened as he looked up at Rui with all the affection he has held in for so long. he was... joyed, ecstatic, loved... he wanted just scream to the world how happy he felt. though he was speechless at the moment.
Rui noticed Tsukasa's silence, he walked up to the blonde, taking his hands and placing them on his chest. "I... wanna be your boyfriend. Like you said yesterday... If I wanted you to be my boyfriend..." he pulled Tsukasa closer, almost towering over him, his breath hitched as he spoke up, staring deep into Tsukasa's sunset colored eyes, the same eyes that belonged to someone whom he loved dearly...
"So... I want to be yours, I want you to be mine..."
