Chapter Text
It had been quite some time since Caesar had been proclaimed Overlord and Wise couldn’t find time to go to the Outer Ring to meet his lover due to being flooded with commissions assigned by Shepherd and Venus.
So when he received a text from Caesar, right as he finished his turn on proxy work, saying to “come quickly”, he could only comply, and so he rode his car all the way to Blazewood thinking about his lover and what could have happened.
He finally reached the town and rushed to Caesar’s house knocking on the door trying to stay as composed as possible.
A simple “Come in, the door’s unlocked” coming from Caesar’s voice was all it took for him to release the worry accumulated during the trip.
As he entered he saw Caesar standing in the middle of the room with a faint blush slowly growing on her cheeks, her gaze alternating between him and what looked to be a romantic manga involving royalty settled on a nearby table.
“Oh, brave w-warrior…” she glanced at the book forgetting the line “T-To reward you for your assigned mission… I-I shall give you my hand in marriage.” As she said this she looked away with her eyes closed, her blush now a deep red.
‘Role Playing, huh?’ thought Wise ‘I should play along’ he closed the distance between them startling Caesar a bit from the creeks of the wooden floor. As he reached her, he knelt down on one knee and started speaking, holding a smile on his face “I shall accept the reward whole-heartedly, Your Majesty.” As he said this he gently picked her arm and brought it closer to his lips.
When the hard and calloused hand met the soft lips in the medieval gesture, Caesar, embarrassed, could only crouch down to hug her knees and hide the blushing mess that was her face in her legs letting out a groan, probably cringing at herself.
“What’s wrong?” asked Wise, hiding a slight giggle with his hand.
“Promise not to laugh at me” demanded Caesar.
“I would never do that, my job is to love you and support you, no?”
She revealed her face still looking down to avoid his gaze “Well, I’m the Overlord so I’m basically the Queen of the Outer Ring. I just wanted to know how it feels to be courted by a knight, if it makes any sense at all.” Finally her eyes met his and all she saw was Wise’s reassuring gaze, before leading her in a kiss.
“Well then, it shall be my mission to do so, Your Majesty.” At that she could only blush again.
Notes:
In case anyone is wondering, I just wanted Wise to kiss Caesar's hand

Chapter Text
7 WHOLE days.
That was the period Zhu Yuan had spent completely covered by work and overtime so right now she was obviously sulking on her desk thinking about all the things she couldn't find time to do this week or was too tired to do them.
Aside forgetting to call back her mother to decide a date for the next dinner and submitting her weekly report, there was a certain someone lingering in the back of her mind.
Wise.
Zhu Yuan was in a state of extreme lack of Wise and she couldn't be more desperate.
Just the simple thought of his face in her tired state made her want to be cuddled by him in bed, as he quietly hums soothing tunes until she falls asleep.
The sound of her radio going off, informing her of an emergency, is enough to pull her out of her thoughts and the ever-so diligent Zhu Yuan had to answer the call.
"Qingyi, come with me, it's a robbery in Lumina Square" she said as she got up from her desk, picking up her gear and the car keys.
"Captain Zhu Yuan, my analysis shows that you're in no health condition to suppress criminals at the moment," she replied "I advise you to stay here to rest while me and Seth take care of it."
"Don't worry, I can manage just fi-" before she could finish her sentence she suddenly felt dizzy and could feel her vision blurring as she ended up fainting on the floor.
When she came to, she found herself on her work desk as she realized what happened, but it wasn't long before her mind drifted to something else again.
Wise to be exact.
She just couldn't help but think about him, especially after her mother had recently started pushing her to find a husband already, as she was already in her 20s and had never once been in a relationship all her life.
So the next question came completely natural:
'Would he be a good husband?', she thought to herself, 'he's by no means ugly, he's got a stable job and she's heard from Belle that he knows how to cook but doesn't have much time to do so.'
And then it hit her, 'He could be a stay-at-home husband', she placed her hand under her chin and narrowed her eyes in deep thought, 'I definetly wouldn't mind coming home and getting greeted first thing first.'
And then she started imagining it: she comes home in the evening completely wore out from work and what she sees is Wise and his soft grey hair, his eyes a beautiful shade of blue with those iconic underbags of his all topped off with an apron to fit the scene as he starts talking in his calm and assuring tone.
'Welcome back, honey', he started talking in her head, 'would you like to have dinner?'
"... an..."
'Or would you prefer a bath?'
"... an..."
'Or perhaps...'
"... Yuan..."
'... Me?'
"Zhu Yuan!"
Startled by the abrupt shout, she swiftly got up even bringing her hand up for a salute, a blush evident on her cheeks "Y-Yes, sir!"
She then looked around and noticed Qingyi and Seth both staring at her: the first one looked at her as if she knew everything she was thinking about while the latter was just confused at her behaviour just now.
"Captain Zhu Yuan, is everything ok?", asked the Lynx Thiren, "first you faint, now this, maybe you should get a day off."
She just sighed, her blush subsiding by a little, "Maybe you're right."
Chapter Text
A long time ago, deep in a far away forest there was a hut that two siblings, Wise and Belle, had built together to stay away from the oppressive society of that time.
They lived by hunting small animals and by farming alternated between the two activities weekly.
This week was Wise’s turn to go hunting for the usual rabbits or birds so he took his bow, his arrows, a small dagger and some bandages for good measure, then he walked off to the woods.
As he followed the path, he noticed a little movement of the bushes in the distance and soon enough a rabbit showed itself.
He aimed his bow making the least noise possible and shot his arrow at the wild animal but missed, scaring it away.
“Shit”, he cursed to himself about the mistake and made his way to pick up the used arrow.
As he reached the place, he picked up the weapon from the ground and noticed that on his left there was a creature he had never seen before.
It was black on top and white on the underside, it had a big mouth with sharp teeth, a dented tail and two pairs of short stubby legs. It was a shark, but our friend of course had no way of knowing that.
At first startled by the beast, he was soon intrigued by the strangely friendly look it was giving him.
He calmly reached out with his hand waiting for a response and soon enough the creature smelled his hand before placing it over its muzzle and Wise started caressing it gently.
It got closer and licked his face in affection to which Wise didn’t object.
After a bit of thinking, Wise smiled, picked up the animal and said, “Ok, I’ve decided, your name will be Nom-Nom.”
The shark, annoyed, chomped on his head in protest to which the clueless boy replied, “You really like your new name, don’t you?”, the shark simply frowned and accepted its fate.
Coming back from the hunt he was able to at least catch two birds for tonight’s dinner and found Belle working on the rather small fields ready to greet him back.
As she saw him back she immediately shifted her attention to the new pet, getting excited as she instantly started hugging it.
“Who’s this cutie here?!” said the girl too happy to notice her head was being bit by the irked beast.
“It’s Nom-Nom,” said Wise, seemingly ignoring the danger his sister was in “our new pet.”
Belle could only gasp in thrill for the new family member tightening her grip.
The weeks that followed weren’t so different from the usual. While there was a new entity in the house, it was mostly independent and would go hunt for its own food.
For some reason though, it was extremely clingy to Wise, it would sleep with him every night and even follow him around assisting him where it could.
Belle would usually joke about it and tease Wise by saying it had fallen in love with him, obviously he would just answer by brushing it off saying that it would be impossible.
One night, Nom-Nom had as usual joined Wise in bed, lying down beside him to get ready to sleep.
As he shifted positions to find a more comfortable one. He settled for hugging Nom-Nom, caressing its body in an affectionate way.
Looking down at Nom-Nom, Wise started speaking, “Sometimes I wish you could talk and tell us what you’re thinking about” as he said that sleep started overcoming him.
When he woke up, after the usual regaining of consciousness and existence, he quickly realized that Nom-Nom was suddenly thinner and somehow… longer?
He looked down in confusion and what he saw wasn’t the usual shark pet, but a beautiful black-red-haired young woman completely naked under the blanket.
“Woah!” Wise exclaimed startled while falling down the bed, making a loud thud on the floor waking up the girl who was now sitting upright on the bed rubbing her eye with her finger covering herself with a blanket.
Upon closer inspection, Wise saw a shark tail coming attached to the girl and with a yawn she showed her sharp teeth so it didn’t take long before Wise realized what was happening.
“Nom-Nom?” Wise called. At the mention of the name, the girl became alerted and crawled off the bed to the floor to get close to the boy.
When she was close enough, she bit him on the shoulder leaving a mark, a faint blush appearing on Wise’s face “My name’s not Nom-Nom”, she spoke “It’s Ellen Joe.”
After telling him her name, the girl still eepy after waking up, laid her head against Wise’s chest and quickly fell asleep again.
After some minutes spent wondering what to do next, Belle came in his room worried by his absence and after a few seconds assessing the situation, she just grinned at the sight of Wise’s blushing face with eyes filled with a plea for help to which Belle just closed the door on him saying “Take your time~”.
In the end, Wise was left on his own to handle things and after some time, he decided to just join the girl in her slumber.
Notes:
If you still don't understand what Ellen in Nom-Nom form looks like just imagine Jeff the land shark from marvel rivals.
Also, guess who didn't know how to finish the fic so he just rushed it.
Chapter Text
It was night in the Outer Ring and our dear proxy, Belle, had just finished a commission by the Sons of Calydon while her brother stayed in New Eridu to look after the store.
Due to the late hour she decided on staying the night in Blazewood, but before sleeping she had to go get a drink with the Overlord’s gang, and she really needed one.
So as usual they all met outside of Steel Tusk with Burnice already set to start pouring the nitro-fuel in the jugs for all the people present, whether they were strangers or friends.
The night was going smoothly as usual: Caesar was having a drinking contest with the ever-so rivalrous Lucy, Piper was drinking although she did look on the verge of passing out any moment, Burnice was still serving her drink and in the distance you could hear various choirs of people shouting “Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!”, over and over again.
Everyone had some kind of alcohol in hand, except for one person: Lighter, but the attentive manager quickly noticed and she wasn’t about to let him get away.
“Hey, Lighter”, Belle spoke, “why don’t you join in on the fun?”
He turned to look at her, his eyes covered by the same old sunglasses still as attractive as she remembered.
“Hey there, Proxy”, he replied “ I would drink, but I wanna stay sober in case anybody tries any funny business.”
“Oh, come on~, what a party-pooper”, she answered mockingly “Everybody’s just having fun, you should let loose as well.”
“Still, better safe than sorry.”
Unsatisfied with his answer she decided to tease him a bit, so she smirked and said, “Oh, stop it, a strong man like you can’t handle a few drinks?” of course, she knew from their last time drinking together that he had little to no tolerance.
“Is that… a challenge?” He looked at her with a provoking gaze.
“What if it is?”
“You’re on then, Proxy” he said as he picked a jug from the counter and downed it in one go, prompting Belle to do the same.
By the third drink, Lighter was already feeling lightheaded but just a push from the teasing girl was enough to convince him of taking one more. Sadly for his competitive spirit, that was enough to make him pass out on the spot.
“Oh, no way”, expressed Belle, almost sarcastically.
Feeling slightly guilty about the mishap, she decided to take him back home after informing Piper who seemed like the most responsible out of everyone.
So, after waiting enough for him to at least regain a bit of consciousness, she started accompanying him home with his hand over her shoulders.
As the lights and noises coming from the bar started fading in the background, a sense of tranquility settled in Belle’s heart taking in the beauty of the usually so active Outer Ring sleeping at night.
When they were in front of his house, she searched for his keys in his pockets.
As she was inside they made their way to his bed, only bothering to take off his shoes and sunglasses before he threw himself on the bed.
As he settled to sleep on his side, before she could wish him good night and make her way back to her apartment in Blazewood, Belle stopped in her tracks and thought of something after realizing the situation at hand.
She snuck on the bed facing in his direction and replayed today’s events in her head, especially when he saved her (Eous, to be exact) from falling down that pit.
The fierce and stylish Red Scarf of the Sons of Calydon, was now sleeping soundly in front of her.
Pushed by an unknown urge, she hugged him and hid her face in his chest which was bigger and somehow softer than she expected.
To finish off she kissed him on the forehead and whispered “Good night” before getting off the bed.
Except suddenly, Lighter reached out his hand to her, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her down on the bed again.
Although this time, he was on top of her in all his glory and handsomeness, his eyes half-closed and his face flushed from the drunken state.
Belle on the other hand was blushing for another reason, her eyes wide-open in surprise and her heart rate increasing by the second.
His hot breath touched her neck making her feel tingly and hot all over.
“Belle…” he whispered, so close to her sensitive ear. Her name pronounced by his voice had a nice ring that only made the blush worse as she brought a hand up to her mouth to avoid letting out any embarrassing whimper.
He brought his mouth to her neck and started suckling on it leaving marks on her, but instead of rejecting them, she stayed still and let it happen for a reason she herself didn’t know.
When he moved on to leaving a second hickey Belle had already embraced him.
She wanted more, she wanted him to do more.
Lighter stopped focusing on her neck and had now moved his head so that he was face to face with Belle, flustering her.
He closed the distance and she closed her eyes expectantly, but as soon as their lips simply grazed on each other, he passed out on the bed.
Belle, still shook, was breathing heavily, her face completely red.
Covering her face with both hands, she rushed out of the house and made her way back to her apartment.
There, she immediately went to lay down on her bed to sleep, but she couldn’t.
Her mind couldn’t stop running about the handsome Champion and her heart-beat hadn’t decreased at all since he started.
In the end, she couldn’t get a wink of sleep and decided to go back home in the morning before anyone could wake up to avoid any embarrassing situation.
As she reached her car an all too familiar voice called out to her. It was Lighter.
“Hey Proxy, you going back already?”
‘How is he not hungover!?’ she thought to herself before talking to him like nothing happened the other night.
“Yeah, in just a bit,” To avoid being suspicious she kept her usual teasing steady, hiding the hickeys with her hand “By the way, you really should work on your alcohol tolerance, you couldn’t even beat a bangboo like that.” She grinned.
“Probably, but at least I recover fairly fast and remember most things that happen.” He looked at her with knowing eyes.
She panicked, “W-What? W-Whatever do you mean?”
He lifted her chin up whispering to her ear “Your neck was delicious,” he brushed her mouth with his thumb, “Now i wonder what your lips taste like.”
She blushed, trembling to the point that her legs could give out any moment.
“W-Well…” perplexed on how to answer she rushed off to the car “I-I gotta go!”
With that she went back home, hoping her brother wouldn’t notice the marks on her neck.

Chapter Text
A lot of time had passed since the Deputy Chief of HSO Section 6 had last gotten a fever and she felt dreadful.
What made it worse was that she was completely alone since in the morning, when the sickness wasn’t this bad, she had decided to let Soukaku stay at someone else’s place.
After crossing out Harumasa for his health condition and Chief Miyabi due to her social standing, the only remaining trustworthy friends she had were the Proxies.
But now she was regretting not asking for someone to help her in her state, not even to drop by a pharmacy for some medicine.
She had even forgotten where she had put her phone so she couldn’t call for anyone.
So there she was, lying on her bed in her sleazy, pink pajama, dreading her past self in silent suffering, alone.
What made it worse was that her workaholic nature wouldn’t let her rest in the least, her mind running, rethinking over all the work she had planned to complete today.
Thankfully, her suffering slightly subsided when the doorbell rang.
She slowly got up, put on her glasses and walked to the door, expecting to see a delivery man that had ended up at the wrong house, or worse, door-to-door salesmen.
To her surprise, when she opened the door and her vision adjusted to the new light level, she was surprised to see a familiar face.
It was Wise.
“Hey, Miss Yanagi,” he said. “Soukaku told me about your situation so I came to check on you.”
As he looked down at her, she noticed him getting slightly flustered, the faintest of blushes on his cheeks when he looked away.
When she remembered her current attire only consisted of a pajama she looked down and quickly noticed that her cleavage was in full-view.
Embarrassed, she turned around to adjust herself.
He continued talking “I passed by the convenience store to buy anything you could need, may I come in?”
“A-Absolutely!” she replied, still flustered by her slip-up, starting to panic a bit.
When he noticed the apparent weakness in her walk, he quickly got to escorting her to the bed as he heard a quiet thank you leave her pink lips.
When they reached their destination Wise started speaking “The medicine says it should be consumed after eating so may I use your kitchen?”
“Are you sure?” she answered, “I wouldn’t want to trouble you.”
He smiled at her, “Don’t worry, I’m doing this for you so it’s definitely worth it.”
At that she blushed and let out another small thank you before lying down again, having reached the limit of her resistance.
After some time she could hear the sounds coming from him cooking in the kitchen: she heard him cutting a variety of vegetables, the sound of boiling water and rice getting poured in it.
Thanks to his presence alone, her prior hopelessness was now getting replaced by a sense of relaxation filling her heart.
Later he came back to her room carrying a wooden tray with a spoon and a bowl on top which was producing quite the fair amount of steam.
“This is the best I could make with what I had, so I hope you’ll like it.” She just nodded in response after sitting up on the bed.
He set down the tray on her bedside table and picked up the chair of her desk, placing it at the side of her bed. He sat down and picked up the spoon.
He immersed the spoon in the food, avoiding any of it falling to the ground by putting his other hand under it and brought it closer to his own face.
Assessing the situation, Yanagi could only stare at him in surprise.
Wise gently blew on the food and offered it to the sick lady “Please, say ‘Aaaaaah’.”
Flustered, she could only try to refuse “Y-You really don’t have-”.
Before she could even finish, he interrupted her “You need to preserve your energies as much as you can.”
Unable to debate with the young man, she opened her mouth and took the spoonful of porridge as she took in the flavors of the plate made by the man in front of her.
Wise noticed that she had this gracious way of covering her mouth with her fingertips while eating that made him entranced by her.
After repeating this process until she was full, he went back to the kitchen to take care of the dishes as she took the medicine and laid down once again.
When he came back, it was already pitch-black outside so she was starting to feel tired.
Despite having taken her pill, she still felt weak and restless and she knew only Wise could help her.
“Would you mind…” she spoke as she turned beat-red, “holding my hand?”
Being the good soul that he is, Wise agreed with a heart-warming smile and gripped her hand, giving her a sense of calmness and she eventually fell asleep.
She woke up the next morning feeling a lot better and she noticed Wise had never once left her side and was now sleeping kneeling down against the bed, his left hand still holding hers while his right arm acted as a pillow for his head.
She let go of his hand and after regaining all of yesterday’s memories she blushed and covered her face with both hands, muffling a scream with all her might.
When she was done letting it all out, she opened her fingers to look at the sleeping beauty right beside.
Intrigued, she moved her hand closer to his face and moved one of his hair locks out of the way. Then, she cupped his cheek and caressed it with her thumb.
After realizing what she was doing, she slapped her face with both hands, got up while trying not to wake up Wise and started getting ready for the day.

Housewife Wise is the reason for my happiness
Chapter Text
Hoshimi Miyabi, Chief of HSO Section 6, the youngest Void Hunter in history and current head of the Hoshimi clan.
Wise could only be deeply perplexed when that same Hoshimi Miyabi, after running away from the myriad of her fans currently grouped in Lumina Square, was now by his side, her arm wrapped around his, in an obscure alleyway, wearing a frilly white dress while calling him “dear”.
“Is something wrong, dear?” said Miyabi, now showing a worried look similar to his.
He changed his facial expression to a more reassuring one, “No, of course not,” he said “it just caught me off-guard.”
“What did exactly?”
“The part about you calling me dear all of a sudden.”
“Why?” she seemed to frown slightly, “Even if it’s still unofficial, are we not engaged?”
“Eh?”
“Eh?”
“What?”
“What?”
Although the words were the same, the tones and the reason behind them couldn’t be more different.
“Engaged?” he asked, still confused at the sudden discovery.
“Precisely.” she answered in a confirming tone.
“Uhm… since when?” being left speechless, those were the only words he managed to let out.
“Since my father talked about adopting you in the Hoshimi family and you agreed.”
“Huh?” he questioned as he realized something “Is there some deeper meaning to adopting a son in your clan?”
“In our culture, adopting a son means giving one’s daughter’s hand in marriage to the man desired by the parents.” she explained keeping her composure. “My father clearly hinted at that, and you responded affirmatively with a ‘yeah’.”
Now blushing in surprise, he could only think to himself ‘That’s what he meant?!’
“Are you… unhappy about it?” she slightly frowned at her own supposition, so unnoticeable that only someone who had a deep bond with her could see it.
Fortunately, the one in front of her was one of them.
“Absolutely not!” he replied in a blushy panic “I mean, I’m more than glad to be able to marry a beautiful and dependable lady such as yourself!”
“Is that so?” feeling her face burning up, she lowered her head to hide the expression, new even to herself.
“Y-Yeah, I was just… surprised,” similarly to the young lady, he could only look away in embarrassment, scratching his neck “that’s all.”
“I see.” she kept her gaze to the ground, still too flustered to show herself.
Noticing the flick of her ear and the tone of her voice, Wise understood she wasn’t in a bad mood.
“Do you wanna resume our date, then?” he said while smiling in her direction.
Finally looking at him again, a blush still present, she replied “O-Of course, dear.”
Though not used to being called that, Wise had to admit: it did sound perfect when exiting Miyabi’s lips.
Turning his head to look at the giant crowd, he said “Although, considering we wouldn’t be able to go unnoticed here, do you wanna go to Sixth Street?”
“I don’t mind going there.” a barely noticeable smile formed from her lips and Wise could only return one of his own as they started walking to his car.

Spoiler: I am gonna make a one shot of their married life so house husband Wise will be back sooner or later
Chapter 7: Possessive
Notes:
So I wasnt planning of writing another Miyabi fic immediately, but inspiration and motivation just struck me so here it is.
Although Miyabi seems a bit too needy by the ending and might be out of character, you decide.
Also from now on the spaces between the sequences will be expanded, as well as for the prior chapters
Chapter Text
‘I think I’ll make curry today’ thought Wise as he strolled undisturbed in Lumina Square, wondering what to make for dinner that night.
Ever since getting married to Hoshimi Miyabi, all unbeknownst to the public, he was now focusing solely on his work as an Investigator under HSO’s management.
Due to collaborating especially with Section 6 and being the handsome young man he is, it wasn’t long until a fan club of his own was born (although some of it was thanks to a certain bangboo who wore an orange scarf).
So it wasn’t a surprise when right as he was entering the super market, he was stopped by a shrill cry of excitement coming from a fan girl.
“I-I-I-It’s Master Wise!” at the alerting voice, tons and tons of equally ear-piercing screams erupted all at the same time, as a group of girls started forming around the startled man.
In that moment, all Wise could hear were choirs of these or similar lines:
“I love you!”
“Please, give me an autograph!”
“Where is Eous?!”
“Let me take a picture with you!”
“Please, tell me I’ve been a good girl!”
Getting more flustered by the second, he tried calming down the ruckus made by the thirsty girls, until one of them made her way to him.
When this specific girl embraced his hands under hers, Wise noticed the girl had orange hair and fox ears,
‘A fox Thiren…’ he thought.
She said “P-Please, Master Wise, marry me!” right as she proposed she got awfully close to his face, making him uncomfortable.
Right as she stopped speaking, another girl appeared out of nowhere, and swiftly separated the two.
She herself was a fox Thiren, but with black hair and a cyan jacket. All the fans and Wise quickly recognized her, it was Miss Hoshimi Miyabi.
Seeing her, most of Wise’s fans screeched in response to seeing another one of their idols.
Miyabi pulled Wise close to her by his wrist, shocking all the fans present, and before long she picked him up in bridal style, embarrassing him, while she glared at the maidens in love.
“I’m sorry, but me and my spouse have plans together right now.” she said before jumping away from the ground to the top of a building to another and to another until they were out of sight.
Each of the girls, flabbergasted by what just took place in front of them, all shared one same scream.
Some screamed in excitement for the new ship, some from heartbreak and some from confusion, but nonetheless they all learnt a lesson that day: never try to steal a Void Huntress’ man.
Back to the married couple, still perpetually in the air, Wise covered his blushing face with his hands, his fingers separated to look at his wife.
‘Why are you this cool?’ he wondered, still embarrassed.
As they reached their home, Wise was again able to touch the ground with his feet, but his legs almost gave out from trembling so much.
When he noticed her sulking, he asked “is everything ok, honey?”
“Why…” he remained silent waiting for her to continue. “Why didn’t you swat them away?”
“Because it would have been extremely rude towards them, they are just people who support and appreciate our work.”
“Still, they were saying strange stuff…” she frowned when recollecting the words that left the fangirls’ mouths.
“If this is because of jealousy towards them for trying to steal me away from you, then you don’t have to worry,” he said “I’m gonna stay with you forever.”
She looked at him with pleading eyes, “Promise?”
“I’ve already promised that, haven’t I?” he said, showing the ring on his finger.
In response she threw herself on him in a hug, the force of it almost sending him to the floor.
In her embrace, he reciprocated the gesture and started stroking her hair and patting her head, to which her ear started flicking in amusement.

Chapter Text
New Eridu High School was a pretty humble institution, although it did keep some kind of prestige thanks to quite a few studious and athletic students attending there.
Between the first category, we find Wise, who contrary to his learning skills, is quite scrawny and bad at any kind of physical activity.
One specific day, as he was passing through the halls to his class, he noticed a crowd of female students fawning over a single person in the center that he couldn’t quite distinguish at first.
After narrowing his eyes, trying to better see the cause of such ruckus, he recognized the “perpetrator” of all this.
Caesar King, or as everyone calls her: Prince.
Due to her charisma, beauty and manly personality, she was able to accumulate countless fan girls among the entire school.
Unlike Wise, she was a sport prodigy, but lacked in the learning field (not that she was failing of course).
Being the introvert he is, Wise could only pity the surrounded girl, even though she didn’t look miserable in the slightest.
As the fairly handsome grey-haired passed through, the current centre of attention noticed him and noticed something falling from his bag.
Being the chivalrous soul she is, Caesar excused herself from the group and set out to retrieve the lost item.
When she picked it up, she quickly understood what it was.
‘A shoujo manga…’ she thought.
“Hey, wait a sec!” she shouted at him, startling the sensitive-eared boy as he turned around to look at the origin of the voice.
“You dropped this earlier.” she continued after reaching him.
Before Wise could answer, he quickly noticed different details about her: she was a bit taller than him, a scar could be seen on her left arm and she had a very ample bosom, which left him wondering how no male student tried hitting on her
“Thank you.” he said in a soft voice while lightly bending his lips upwards.
“N-No problem…” said the squirming girl with rosy cheeks.
Wise simply connected the blush on the girl’s face to his beauty, after all he was well aware of his good looks, no need to be all modest about it.
When the girl stopped speaking all that was left was an awkward silence which left both teens wondering what to do next.
Fortunately, a blue flash appeared behind the boy quickly making her presence known with her loud voice.
“Hey, Wise, I’m here.” she spoke, stopping by the boy’s side. “And who’s this total knock-out?!” she said, looking at the tomboy.
“I-I-I’m sorry!” yelled Caesar, before running away in a panic, leaving both teens confused.
“What’s her problem, bro?” said Wise’s sister.
“Belle, how should I know?” he answered.
“See? You really do need to read this.” said Belle while grabbing his wrist and placing the manga he was holding in front of his face.
“What’s this mediocre bs got to do with all this?” he asked, expressing his bad review of the series in his hand.
“You need to understand the heart of a young maiden in love…” she claimed in a light tone looking up at the pretend sky while faking a tear in her eye.
“In love?” he questioned, “This is literally the first time I ever spoke with her.”
“Maybe you just don’t remember, you horrid monster!” she said faking to be hurt deep in her soul.
At that, Wise lost all will to entertain his sister’s antics and simply walked away from her.
“Don’t just ignore me!” she shouted, following suit.
Due to being in different years, they separated to go to their own class for the next six hours.
Obviously, they texted each other in case of need.
As always, school was monotonous as ever for Wise, so much so that it wasn’t long before the end of the last hour, he fell asleep as if entering a hibernation of his own.
When he opened his eyes, he looked outside and noticed the sun was setting.
Surprised, he checked his phone and saw a text from his sister saying “Sweet dreams.”
Annoyed, Wise picked up his stuff and made his way through the corridor and soon enough, he started looking inside the empty classroom, all empty except one.
Caesar was still in her classroom, reading something.
Upon closer inspection, he noted that it was the same manga his sister had recommended him.
Before long, his attention went back to the Prince of the school, but all he could see was a simple young maiden, yearning for a love akin to that of a shoujo manga.
Entranced by the sight, he got closer to her from behind, paying attention to not alarm the girl.
Wise started getting more and more drawn in by the girl every second due to her cute reactions: the way she blushed at the bitter-sweet scenes, how her heart-rate visibly increased in the climax moments or how she giggled quietly at the jokes spread here and there.
Feeling the need to strike up a conversation with her, he listened to his urge.
“I read that too,” he began, “mind sharing your thoughts on it?”
Alarmed, the girl yelped briefly, before swiftly looking back at him with widened eyes and red cheeks.
“S-Since when were you here?!” she inquired.
“Since page 87.”
At that she only blushed and moved her gaze to the ground, probably to hide her embarrassment.
He moved to sit down at the seat in front of hers, smirkimg at the girl’s reaction.
Noticing this, Caesar started talking, “Oh, right, I should apologize…”
Perplexed, he just looked at her in wonder of what she meant.
“I shouldn’t have approached you so lightly when you have a girlfriend, I’m really sorry.” she said, bowing in her seat.
“I don’t have a girlfriend, though.”
“Eh?” she looked up at him confused.
“I don’t have a girlfriend.”
“W-Wait, then who was that blue-haired girl?!”
“My sister.”
At that, Caesar stopped functioning for a bit before facing down with her face in her hands.
“What a relief~” she whispered.
Thanks to his sensitive ears, Wise was able to hear her though, “Relief for what?”
“T-That I didn’t risk upsetting anyone!” she said panicked in a rush her face full-on crimson colored
At that he could only laugh wholeheartedly.
“W-What’s that about?” she asked pouting.
“It’s nothing, really,” he spoke, “you’re just cuter than I thought you’d be.”
“B-But I’m not cute, though…” she replied embarrassed, waving her hands in denial. “Everyone always says I’m cool and handsome like a prince.”
“If I say you’re cute…” he answered, slightly irked by the girl’s insecurity, “It’s because I think you’re cute, got it?” Although he knew the girl in front of him could beat him to a pulp, he felt as though he needed to protect her from any danger.
“U-Understood…” she answered, now blushing at his words.
At the sight of the blushing girl, Wise’s heart started increasing its pace, as if it was on the verge of exploding right then and there.
Because of this, he started holding his chest with his hand and a blush of his own grew on his neck and ears.
“I-Is something wrong?” she asked, worried about the boy in front of her.
When he looked up, he immediately saw her face closer than before: her fierce yet caring eyes, her petite nose and her rosy lips he knew would look and feel good on his.
“N-Nothing, don’t worry.” he said, and while rearranging his thoughts, he recalled why he started this conversation. “By the way, are you liking it?”
“What?”
“That manga you were reading.”
She raised an eyebrow in thought for a moment, before turning red again.
“Oh, well, to tell you the truth, I’ve always really liked romance stories, so yes I’m enjoying it.” she said, bringing her hands together.
“Well, well, who would have thought the Prince of the school had a side like this.” He grinned.
“Please, don’t call me that, I don’t like it.” she said, lowering her head as if she was shrinking there on the spot. “It’s like they’re tryna push expectations on me, plus I’m a girl so of course I would like to be called something else.
“Then, what about Princess?”
“W-Wait, that would be too embarrassing.” she said squirming.
“Alright, Princess~” he teased while smirking
She just sighed in frustration and nervousness.
Although, she had to admit, it didn’t feel bad nor uncomfortable. It felt actually good, maybe she really wanted to be a princess.
“Anyway, getting back on track, wanna share our thoughts on it?” he asked.
“What?”
“Let’s meet up everyday after school to talk about the manga, nothing too pressuring.”
“I mean, if you’re ok with me.” she said while scratching her cheek with her index finger.
“Name's Wise, by the way.”
Though Wise wanted to express he was more than ok with her, he just decided to keep it to himself this time.
“Well, see you tomorrow, then.” he waved goodbye to her as he got up and made his way to the door.
When he left, she brought her hands to her chest, feeling her heart pounding uncontrollably ever since he called her princess. His soothing voice when he said that and the feeling of enjoyable embarrassment, all too vivid in her head made her heart and cheeks go crazy.
Now, they both had one more reason to go to school.
Notes:
Haply new year!
I feel like i didn't depict Caesar as energetic and cheerful as she is in the game, so please tell me what you guys think
Chapter Text
Ever since her commission ended some time ago, Wise had started regularly meeting up with Soldier 11 in the evening or at night to have dinner or, much to Wise’s misfortune, to train together.
On this night, it was the turn of the latter and, as usual, they had given each other appointment in the parking lot behind the video store.
Having no professional equipment other than store-bought dumbbells, they mostly did exercises like push-ups, sit-ups or even simple jogs around sixth street.
Although he certainly wasn’t keen on exercising, Wise had recently started noticing his body had been getting slightly stronger while training, for some reason that he himself didn’t know, he felt better in general.
Therefore, not feeling in the need nor the want to work out, he tried persuading the Obol Squad member to just skip training that day and go straight to get something from General Chop before being heavily reprimanded and punished by kneeling on the ground with a cinder block on his legs for five full minutes.
Although, the thought of noodles in the girl’s mind were enough to convince her to just stop there for the night on one condition.
“Take your clothes off.” she commanded, firm as always.
“T-Take off my what, now?”
“Was I not clear?” she added before repeating herself, “Take your clothes off, I’m going to check on the state of your body.”
Knowing he could trust the soldier, Wise wouldn’t have had any problem in doing so, but it was currently winter and the temperature was an all-time low.
“Isn’t it a bit too cold outside for that?” he questioned uselessly.
“Do not complain and do as I say, Crimson Combustion.” she ordered.
Wise complied in the end, and was now left with his torso completely naked in front of his coach, feeling the cold right on his skin.
The sight of him woke up something inside Soldier 11: he wasn’t muscular, but his body was well-toned and it looked as though it would feel great at touch, so it wasn’t strange that she wished to touch it.
Right?
Right, she was simply doing an anatomy check-up on him, no personal feelings involved obviously.
When she placed her hand on his chest, the difference in temperature between the air and her hand made him shiver slightly.
Her hand was warm and after the initial uncomfort, the cosyness slowly settled in and soothed his cold body.
His chest was hard but still felt strangely good at the touch, leaving her needing to caress his body more.
She turned him around, his back now facing her, she extended his arms outwardly and told him to flex his biceps.
Due to holding up his arms, she was awfully close to him and he could feel the hotness of her body on his whole back. It felt good.
“The muscle is starting to show, good job, Red Lightning.” she smirked in approval.
“Well, it’s all thanks to you.” he smiled at her over his shoulder.
She pinched his arm, extracting a small yelp from him.
“Don’t belittle your hard work.” she reprimanded him.
“Y-Yes, I understand.”
After letting down his arms, the girl still close to Wise’s back, suddenly embraced him from behind, surprising him with her body’s warmth.
“11, is something wrong?” he asked with a tinge of embarrassment in his tone.
“It’s part of the check-up procedure.” she lied.
After letting go of him, he was finally able to put his clothes back on, although the warmth they gave him was nowhere close to her embrace’s comfy one.
He already missed it, a faint blush adorning his cheeks.
“Shall we go eat, now?” said the girl, before her stomach growled.
“Sure.”

Chapter Text
On a completely normal and mundane morning, Hugo Vlad was just minding his own business, sipping on his coffee, when suddenly he heard a scream coming from Vivian’s room.
Alarmed, he rushed there, finding her completely terrified and utterly shocked with sweat coming down her forehead.
Confused, he asked “What’s wrong?!”
“I had a prophecy while sleeping!” She yelled looking even more distraught.
“What happened in it?!”
“L-Lord Phaethon…”
After hearing the proxies’ name, Hugo started feeling on edge, keeping silent while waiting for an answer.
“Was kissing another woman!!!” Her voice came out so high-pitched, it could have broken the sound barrier.
After a moment of silence, Hugo leaned against a wall with his left hand while he blocked his mouth with the other one to avoid exploding in laughter.
Panicked, she yelled at him “Stop laughing! This is a serious matter! NTR is unacceptable!”
“How can it be NTR when you aren’t even together?” He said with his usual amused tone.
“T-That’s beside the point! And he’s already basically my boyfriend…” she said while blushing.
“Stalking someone and smelling their clothes doesn’t really make them your partner, no?” He said, teasing her.
“S-Shut up! Still, we should make sure nothing like that happens…” she said completely flustered.
Amused by his (basically) sister, he agreed and accompanied her to the Random Play video store.
When they entered they were welcomed by the blue-haired sibling of the two.
“Oh, hey! What are my favorite thieves doing here?” She asked from behind the counter, eager for an answer.
“Oh, well, you know, the usual, little Vivian wanted to make sure she wasn't getting NT-”
Before Hugo could finish, Vivian delivered an elbow to his stomach.
Keeping her smile composed, she finished for him “We’re here just to browse a bit.”
Belle looked confused “Oooooooookay? Go on then, you can ask me for recommendations.”
“By the way…” said Vivian “Where’s Wise?”
“My brother is with our employee, Heddy, buying new stock.”
Hearing a woman’s name, Vivian shuddered but got over it and started looking at the tapes in store.
Hugo, instead with a mischievous grin adorning his face got in front of the manager, placing his elbow on the counter.
“You know, I’m looking for a movie with a very specific plot.”
“Sure, I'll look if we have something of the like.”
“I’d like a romance movie that involves a stalker thinking her victim is cheating on her even though they aren’t even in a relationship.”
Suddenly, the sound of a tape getting crushed could be heard.
Hugo and Belle looked in the direction of the noise and found Vivian smiling while holding a pulverized videotape.
“I’m really sorry, I'll pay for this in full.” She said.
Belle worriedly looked between an intimidating Vivian and a grinning Hugo “I uuuuuh… okay? I’ll put it on your count.”
Just then the store’s door opened and Wise came in alongside Heddy both holding a box containing videotapes, at the sight of the woman Vivian grit her teeth keeping her composure.
“We’re back!” he said “Oh, hey Vivian, Hugo.”
“Hello, Wise” answered Vivian “Would you like some help?”
“Don’t worry, Heddy here can help.”
The sound of teeth grinding against each other could be heard around the whole room, but the ever-so-oblivious Wise brushed it off as just some furniture acting up.
Heddy, connecting the dots, quickly understood ‘She’s one of those Wise-obsessed girls! This might be dangerous, but I already took too many days off, I can’t just leave!”
As they were putting the new tapes on the shelves, Heddy felt Vivian’s menacing glare constantly on her.
Suddenly she bumped into Wise “I’m sorry.” She said.
“No problem.” But there was one, Vivian hardened her gaze, now staring holes into the poor girl, gritting her teeth in full-view.
Scared, Heddy quickly backed up but she tripped on her own feet.
As she was about to fall, Wise caught her. “Are you alright?” He asked
“Yes, thank you.”
Reminding herself of the situation, she looked at Vivian, but seeing the pit of hell that became her face, she yelled “I-I forgot about something important so I’ll take my leave!”
As Heddy rushed out of the store, Wise was confused but he thought he would just consider it a sick leave.
As he got up, he looked at Vivian over his shoulder, his gaze met with a cheerful smile, but he noticed something on her face.
He got closer to her to look better until he was right in her face, startling the fangirl.
“W-What is it, Lord Phaethon?” She asked flustered.
“Stay still for a second…”
“O-Okay b-but no need to get so-” she answered while blushing profusely, but while keeping a bit of distance she tripped.
By instinct, she tried grabbing something which happened to be Wise’s shirt.
Taken by surprise the man couldn’t keep his balance and fell over the girl.
The thud alerted both Hugo and Belle who looked in the direction of the commotion.
On the ground Vivian felt something soft pressing against her lips and when she opened her eyes everything was clear to her.
She was kissing Wise.
The few seconds of bliss felt like an eternity, Vivian now melting under her idol’s body.
Wise swiftly got up, breaking up the kiss, blushing profusely “I-I’m sorry!”
Although, his apology was met with an expression of pure bliss.
“Are you alright, Vivian?”
“Probably better than before.” Said Hugo from behind “Now, I think it’s best if I take Vivian home.”
He picked Vivian up from the ground and straddled her over his shoulder and said goodbye to the proxies.
Wise worriedly looked at his sister “Does she hate me now?”
Belle looked at him with a ‘I’m done’ expression “Brother.”
Back to Hugo, he put Vivian inside the car while he got in the driver’s seat.
“You happy?”
Vivian, still dumbfounded, didn’t even hear him talking, now smiling while sometimes giggling to herself.
“I’ll take that as a yes.”
