   Summary

   Brahms 3rd symphony, 3rd mvt plays from a distance

   Allen followed the music, curiosity piqued. He reached the source of it and peeked into the room. Lucien was in the centre leaning back in a chair, eyes closed, mind wandering around in a world beyond comprehension. A cigarette adorned his hand and when he heard footsteps, he opened his eyes. Allen was greeted by a set of stormy eyes, boring into him. His heart did a flip in spite of himself.

   ‘Ah, finally. An oasis in this wasteland.’
