Morning as snow rains down near a cabin not far from a city in the north of the westen realms, the land is covered in snow and many ponds are frozen, two months ago many of the large animals left south for the winter.
North at the mountains is a town an elf town away from the humans and their city.
Most of it is in a massive cave like house, colourful like a fairytale.
The doors open and out comes five elves the head of there is the one leading this group her name is Merry Sugarplum, despite the name she is one of the mightiest fighters and a Ranger of her clan of elves, she and her party are sent for a good reason.
As their kin wave to them.
"Good luck out there" An elf called out.
The elves looked out for each other.
Merry as she and her force leave, unlike humans they can't feel the cold nor the snow affect them as they are a magic race.
All they see now is a wasteland of snow and ice, but months ago was different.
Two months ago.
Two Edmonotosaurus regalis are resting as three Patagotitans are walking though the woods many of the leaves are brown the only trees that are green are the thick pine trees and spruces.
For most of the large animals it will be time to leave, as first snow falls are coming.
Now many herds start to leave, while they can stand the cold as the its gets colder, they leave as they need to eat alot of food to live.
So most will be gone like the Patagotitans as snow falls as the giant animals leave.
One Patagotitan calls out as they walk though the blizzard that is coming.
Snow storms moves in as the animals leave their summer home behind.
Behind them are the large canrivors most are leaving this land.
As A Meraxe is following them.
At the rivrs are Riparovenators and Ceratosuchopses, now the summer fish are gone they leave too.,
Week later there bearly any large animals left, the land has change covered in snow.
The day is shoter and the night is longr in this area.
Its very cold even in the day time with the sun up.
Day before Christmas Eve.
Morning hours..
At a cabin.
A family is getting ready for Christmas.
Two Humans a teenage woman and a boy
Meanwhile
Sences The Alpha (Dragon) came many demons rise.
As two elves in the snow are facing of a demon called a Gryla, looking like a mostly naked woman having robs, thick hair, large around ears and nose, it sweep its arms at the pair.
They dodges its attacks then both jumps slashing five times then both jumps back as it stomps the ground then they both slash spins slaying the demon.
It goes down then fades away in purple smoke.
The two elves pat each other on the back.
As they smile then turn and see another gorup of elves.
Its Merry's group.
The elf pair waves to their comrades.
Merry and her group wave back as they walk.
The froze is now in the woods they keep walking.
There is a small heard of Pachyrhinosaurus, there a few type wpeices with in this, the species here is Pahyrhinosaurus perotorum, they are two tons in weight and 16 feet long, one of the very few that stayed.
Merry looks at the heard she knows they, as she turns her head forward.
At the city at a shopping area, the doors open then mass of humans run in.
Many employees try to move out the way as some try to keep order.
One employee male gets set on by some people in a nasty way.
There is a lot of infighting, it was clear there not really much Christmas spirit.
As rtwo fight over a over size teddy bear but gets ripped part.
"Get of woman!" a man yells as he pulls a box away.
A woman punch a man.
"Come done" a male empolyee said.
A woman cop drags two men.
A man dress as santa has two kids and two women dress as Christmas elves, photos are taken.
There is a lot of chaos as people keep fighting each other, small kids get upset.
At a stage there two boys fighting as others filme this, the parents rush in to stop this.
As they fight, the younger boy hits a ball on the oder one as the parenrts pull them part.
Just then marry and her four comrades come in and they are not supirse of this.
"Oh great" Marry said.
At the parrying many employees are not happy as the paying keeps going, some people are just rude.
"This is ridiculous" The second elf said near Marry.
A much of poeple knock over a ladder cuase on empolyee falls down to the fall hurt.
Two women and three men bash into massive buckets of cookes some fall right on a man.
"My leg!" He yells "My leg" sound hurt.
The elves moves back from this like that got to hurt.
"Ok" Marry said looking at the humans "First" turns back to them "The rest of you stay here while i go and see for myself" she left her right arm "after we get out of here at once" she sweep her right hand.
"Marry?" Marry's right asked.
"Its best you all stay here if anything goes wrong we leave"
Marry turns and leaves as the others ait by the door.
They looked worried.
Marry walks though the mass of greedy, rude and many people like air.
Even as they pushing each other, She is not here for shoping she is here for answers.
She then hears voices stops and sees the fight.
There was a teenage girl she sees her.
Then a voice cuts it off and the teenager goes with her mother.
Marry then keeps going as the cowards keep being mean to each other even making fun out of each other.
She has a feeling she is on edge.
Next she arrives to the office to talk to the Manager.
She is with him at the office.
"You're talling me about the demons?"
"Yes i'm not joking their numbers are rising and I though o coming here to make sure you all know" Marry said to him.
The Man looked like he is listen to this.
"You also think this one is real said to be the one that takes bad kids to hell" he said a bit rude.
"First it does not do that it just made of things to keep kids in line" she looks way "Me and my girls are out here for a reason send by my Queen" she leands over "Listen any of them could shpw up at Christmas Eve at this rate".
"Thats not my promble and you would done better by been a christmas elf for santa cluse instead you are out here to spead fear"
"We are not!" Marry snapped she really hates been rude by people like him.
"When just get out" he said rude.
Marry just turn around and left, slams the door.
Marry storms off heading backt o har party.
"Christmas elf what does he think he is!" She said with anger griping her fists, not even thinking of the chaos around her.
As two women past her, she does not even stop as two men fight, she went though then like air, this stop the men turn and looked with disblive.
"STOP HER!" One man calls out.
Marry keeps going, not far she sees her party they looked uncomfortable like they want to leave and worried for their leader.
"We are leaving" Marry told them.
"Boss?".
"Now" Marry replies.
As she gets closer to.
"Stop right here".
Marry turns one is the man.
"This is what you should be" he pionts to a man dress as santa "a christmas elf for the kids"
Marry grips her fists.
"I am not" she push him back "do that!".
"Forget It!" Marry turns away "Me and my girls will not be part of this!" then looks at the poeple "We are here to fight the demons to kep eveyone safe hear us now, Becareful out there".
They did not listen.
She storms our with her party.
At a house a woman was making food.
Then voices are heard.
"We even have the whole thing on video"
"You're gonna write an apology to the rest of your class for ruining the recital, The father said to his son
"What were you thinking, Max?" a woman said.
All come in the kichten.
A boy with a bag of ice on his cheek.
"You done this to a nice kid" the womna said.
"Oh come on Santa is just a big fat lie was just a cheap marketing ploy invented to sell Pepsi" The boy said
"Coke" teenage girl said.
"Shut up"
"Don't talk to your sister like that" the Mom said to her son.
"And was drop-kicking him into the manger really the best way to handle this?" the Dad name Tom questions his son.
"That was not my fault, I was under the influence" Boy Max said.
All looked at him.
The girl looks at the tv.
"News came out about demon attacks"
The Tv shows a demon called Mari Lwyd.
It looks white lineses, skull of a horse red bauble look eyes, ribbons around it mostly at the head.
"Oh my" the girl said looking at the tv.
It was in the woods.
But the tv is off.
She turns and see is her Grandmother turn it off.
"Don't worry" she tells her.
But the teenager is worried.
"Ok the others should arrive soon" the mother calls "Beth can I talk to you for a bit".
Beth then leaves.
But then.
"You'r joking right? Again!" Beth protest.
"Because they are family, Beth " her mother said "And it's only for a few days".
"Last time they made me look bad, mess my room up" Beth said "Thye called me a liar when i said there was a Nanuqsaurus and I was right near our house".
Beth calms down.
"I don't want what happned like last year".
"I promise you I try not let it happen again".
Beth walks away as she feels she will end up fighting her mother watch she hates doing.
Her mom Sarch feels the same as she puts up a new photo taken not long ago.
She moves back to have a look.
In the photo she is smiling, her husband looks calm, her son looks rude, her daughter has a smile.
Sarch looks closer, where her daughter is, then looks down and see man dress as Santa his eyes looks at the rear end of Beth.
Sarch sighs oh come on, looks away that pig.
At Beth's room she looking up her laptop on it now are vidoes show mostly wildlife, a herd of pachyrhinosaurus in the woods around a hot spring.
It is getting dark now sooner then before.
A pair of Imperobators go though the snow looking for prey, all they found is the ruins of a Deinocheirus that was killed by Tyrannosaurus rex before the snow arrived.
The T rex is feasting on its kill, after he is full up, he turns to leave as snow starts to fall and heads south, as he leaves Red foxes coming to to eat as the snow falls.
As the Imperobator pair tries to see if their is any meat left as any left would be frozen by the cold and snow.
Marry and her party are on the move pasting the skeleton of a Puertasaurus.
"Ok boss" an elf said to Marry.
"Lets head to the town area and amke sure eveyone knows" Marry tells them, as they keep going, they are not efected by this at all.
Later they are though the woods, then see a group of Orcs and they are not from here.
"Looks like the Horde send scouts" one of the elves said.
"Yep as long as they don't cuase trouble its fine"/
The Horde are one of the two warning factions from lands of azeroth, its clear to Marry their Warchief Garrosh hellscream has send them to scout other lands.
She knows it will be for nothing.
"Na lets go" then the elves leave.
At the family house.
More members of the family arived.
It was going well all sat to have dinner.
How ever Max was been rude to the rest of his family.
His two cousins Stevie short for Stephanie and Jordan are getting sick of it.
Their brother burps.
All look at him.
"Ah boy you forgot agian" his dad said.
"Sorry" he said
All nod all but Max.
Stevie is a tomboy as she wears mostly boys cloths, brown glasses, a baseball cap and jacket.
She is really close to her family and people like Beth, but not Max, she had found somthing.
"You know, reindeer are actually a sustainable food source in the northern territories" Howard said
Howard and his family live more south from here and know to like the giant animals, go up for summer and go south for winter, but on the hoilday they came back to spend Christmas with the others.
"At this time of here we not the only one that see them as sustaniable food" Tom said "Out here we have it with thoses that stay here like cave lions, wolves, polar bears, Nanuqsaurus prey on them too".
"Got competition" Howard replies "In summer there more game but more competition"
Beth in her hands is a Allosaurus model.
"But most leave when the first snows arrive" Beth said.
"Thats true like that Allosaurus" Howard said looking at the model "We go with the them when the snows arrive".
"Takes us six hours to go back and here" Howard's wife said "We go with the giants"
"If they go we go" Howard laughs.
His brother Tom agrees with him.
Max starts to taunt the two girls.
"Still believe in the big, fat creeper" he asked.
The girls are getting really sick of his taunts.
"You sure about that?" Steive gets out a letter.
Maz tries to snach it.
But Beth stops him.
"Max, stop" she reasons.
"Here is is the letter" Steive starts to read.
"Give it back!"
"Stop, Max".
"Ah, here we go- maxi's wish list."
"Stevie, stop" Beth reasons "That's enough".
"Wait, you're up first, Beth" Steive said looking at her then back "I wish my sister Beth was not such a demon lover"
Beth looked at her brother and back to Steive.
"I wish my mom and dad break up and get lost"
Others turn to listen.
"Wish Uncle Howard and Aunt Linda never came back and stay at that hell of a place they call home".
Howard and Linda looked offened.
Tom looked uncomfortable, hoping this was some joke.
"Hope somthing happens to them" this time her voice sound hurt and angry.
The couple looked at each other surpirsed.
"And- and that-" Steive then looked angry even more "screw you" she slams the letter down "Dad does not wish we were boys"
The door of the kitcken opens.
"Okay, who wants crme brle?"
All are silent.
The max tries to attack, Steive and her sister moves back.
"Hey, Max" Tom tries to stop this.
As Max's screams and tires attacks Steive, smach glaees.
HEY!" Tom gets off his chair.
Jordan gets in the way and grabs him but he bits her arm hard, causeing her to let go.
Then get to Steive, she pushes back.
The dads try to stop the attack.
"HEY!, HEY!" Tom calls.
Max grabs a knife.
"Max!" Tom tries to stop him.
Steive dodges then kicks him to the gorund as her older sister pins him down enraged at him.
"Girls" Their dad calls, as he grabs his dfaughter "try to be calm down" he said "Stevie, Jordan."
"All right, all right, that's enough" Beth said trying to stop this.
Steive tries to calm down as her sister is been hold by their dad.
"Thats right" Max taunts Steive "your just a pathic wreach".
"Max what was you thinking!" Tom said.
"Ya you been like this all the time evey time we come here, you taunt and herass us" Steive snaps trying to calm down her face red "You really think you can just tell us who we are and say things nasty things of all, not only me but all the famiy"
Her big sister pats her on the back.
"Kid deserves a prize just for telling the truth" the Aunt said she is the aunt to Sarch and Linda.
"Who cares about you Steive you just a girl".
"You think thats ok?" Harword questions.
"Ya".
"Talking about us like that proofs you don't care of us" Tom said he sounded hurt the way his son thinks of him and his wife.
"I hate Christmas!,I hate all of you!" then leaves "I wish you where all dead!"
"Max" his mother calls out she too is hurt by this.
Steive is about to leave.
"Steive"
She turns around.
"I told you all, But non of you listened to me" She sound hurt "I did what had to be done"
"Ok eveyone lets tries and calm the flames" Tom reasons "First Steivie we are sorry we did not listen to you and made you take this action".
At the same time Marry and her ground made camp near the time to work out their plans.
Marry she on egde.
"You ok?"
Marry turned to her.
"This feels off, like somthing is about to happen" Marry turns her head right "I only hope others we try to warn listen to us, there is a darkness and will-"
She looks uncomfortable.
"As we seen, Its not just the demons we watch out for" Marry looks at her right hand "There monsters in the dark, using their very name to cover their deeds, watch angers the demons, there is one, this one said to be the shadow, that takes children away for been bad and to scar them to be good", she place her hand on the snow and forms shapes "same goes for the others" she forms shape of a cat "Hope is what makes us strong, even helps us though the darkness".
At the house.
Teasons where high.
As the night gets darker, its as its gets late now.
Max does not regret his words.
Outside the blizzard a snow storms hits.
"Max" A voice.
Door opens is Tom
"What was that about?" He asked hoping to understand him "What you have in that letter about is was really cruel why do that?"
Max looks at him very rude.
"I want them all dead and you and mom to break"
"Ok son that really rude" Tom was getting really angry of this then storms out "You will regret this"
Max looks out the window then throws out ripd part photos of the window as the night storm gets worst.
Down stairs.
Beth is on edge so is Stieve.
"Mom" Beth said "Somthing is wrong"
Not far ourside a large truke.
"Ok men we only got a small time so lets get this done and leave no trace we were here" a Man wearing a santa cloths.
The men got to work.
"Time to start this Christmas sprite" He said then gets out his phone "Boy we are here, thanks for telling us, now the plan can start".
As they start.
There is somthing watching them a pair of red eyes then was gone.
Marry and her party are at their camp.
Marry looks at the forest.
"Like I said there are monsters in the dark taken the chance for their greed" she tells her group "Using things for themselves to get what they want aginst anyone"
Beth is speaking to the others.
"Ok so its very silent out there, must be because-".
"Help!".
All froze.
"Max?" Tom said.
"Oh god his out there!" Linda said as she holds her kids close.
"What! ok" Tom said to the family "I got out there and get him back before it gets worst".
"Dad!" Beth said.
"I'm coming with you" Harword said "Brother"
"Ok the two of us will go the rest stay here".
"Oh hell no" Linda said "I'm a warrior too"
"Damm" Howard said his wife is tough and he know that "Lets get that boy back in or he is dead"
Next all three went outside hoping to find him.
"Help me!" the voice came.
As they keep looking they see men and one in red.
"What?"
"Help me!" five times then one "Help me!" sounds off cracking.
"Tommy?" Howard said.
"Somthing is off" Linda said.
"Max we nee to-".
But then Tom froze he just ran into a creature in the blizzard.
It look like cat, but bigger then any cat they know.
Messy black fur with patches of white and, whire head with red eyes.
Its not alone look like messed up men in ripped clothing they too have red eyes.
Tom looks with horror.
Demons.
The demon cat is 40 feet long it grows bearing its teeth.
The Yule cat.
The others demons a bit taller then a man.
Yule lads look smaller then both ogres and trolls, they look mix of both species.
The attack starts like from a nightmare.
Linda falls on the ground with a cut on her face from a Yule lad as purple on the egdes of the cut and smoke.
Honward gets dragged by three Yule lads.
It only Tom left as he is behind a car, as the Yule cat is behind it as the Yule lads are in front near Tom.
He is trapped.
As the Yule cat turns it head right hissing as it place its paw on the car, bearing its teeth.
At the house all wait, Beth is on edge so to is Steive.
"They should not be out there" Beth panics.
"Mom should be back" Steive said looking around.
Sarch tries to call her husband nothing.
"Come on" she said "Thats it i'm going out there kids stay here" she leaves the house.
Outside.
Sarch runs looking for them.
In the house.
The kids wait for theire return.
The fire is on but then is off.
The kids panic.
"Calm yourself" Beth said "Lets stay calm" she said
Place a pilow down.
"Remeber last year?" she asked them "With the cave lions at the road, they where there becuase they trying to get back to their home as the night came in".
Steive knows this well.
"Near this house we had Nanuqsaurus"
"There was three of them" Steive said.
"All car to uncle's car becuase he left meat there" Berth said looking at the window "They are animals trying to live in this dark world"
Grabs a bow of cookies and gives them out.
Marry looks more on edge now, she did not speak for a while.
"There is one demon the mortals like here, speak of it the Shadow of Saint Nicholas, The Christmas Devil, it takes children that have been bad" she looks at her kind "Non of it is true, they are stories made to scare children to be good using fear, the real one is just a demon like others, nither good nor evil, they are things mortals made out about it, I saw one of them years ago, it nearly took my life when I was a child, I lost my mother on Christmas Eve just like this night, my mother was betrayed by a family, it lead to her death at the rage of this one".
At the house, they wait.
Beth looks at the window, then eyes widen sees a snowman but creepy.
"What the?" then looks away.
"Beth?" Steive asked.
Beth looked agian there more snowmen.
Then closered then window.
In fear.
"Whats wrong?" she asked agian.
"Ok we stay in this house and not leave" Beth tells them.
But then sounds she turns and sees its just toys, she looks closer and moves back in fear.
They been changed to look like monsters shape teeth.
"Ok not funny guys" Beth looks around.
"Its not us" Steive's brother said.
Turns sees looks like a scarecrow.
"Ok this better be a joke"
Red glowing eyes.
Beth falls down and tries to move back in panic.
"DEMON!" Steive panics.
"We need to get out of here" Her sister said "RUN"
"A Hanss Trapp"
They ran out of the house.
But not Beth she gets up then sees somthing is off, she knows this species, but does not all look like one.
She went there grabs it and see its fake.
"Guys its ...fake" she see they are gone.
They are in the blizzard running for their lives.
Steive runs trying to find her sister and brother, then stops and see to her horror her father dead on the ground.
At the house, Beth is alone, she hears voices and hides.
Its the men and their boss dress as santa,
"Come now step two is a go" the boss said.
As they come close to the house.
"Thats to the boy's plan it worked" he laughs.
Beth's heart sank.
Boy?.
Then sees to her horror.
Max.
"Great job kid" the boss said "I can't blieve you pulled this off".
"I finly got rid of them" Max said.
Beth watchings with horror her own brother meant his words and now are real.
"You know they will be back if not killed" the boss said.
"They will be Santa" Max replies
Beth could not move.
She watch as they leave.
Then Sarch appaers with deep cut.
"Beth" she said as tear run down her face.
"Mom" Beth runs to her.
"I was attacked by these men lead by on dress as Santa"
"Mom we be betrayed"
"By who?"
"Max" Beth said at onces.
Her face dropped of this.
"My own son" two tears go down her face "Beth" as her hand drops "I so sorry" then dies.
"Mom?" Beth trying to keep herself togather, her mother is dead.
In the Blizzard Steive tries to look for help and sees many people are gone, they left or hiding.
Beth is running fast trying to save the others, then to her horror finds Jordon and her brother dead with deep cuts.
Not by demons, but real monsters.
Then she hids as she sees a ape looking creatrues she knows its a demon .
A Karakoncolos, the size of an ogre and similar to a Bigfoot.
Beth keeps going.
"Hi sis"
She looks and sees her brother.
"Your still alive" He said "You are ment to be dead".
"Why are you doing this to our family"
"I did not think you care, you all are in my way, rid of you all and I can do eveything I want" Max laughs "I never loved you so I want you all dead, you are nothing to me"
"He is right" the boss said still in santa cloths.
"Your sick RAT!"
But then she froze.
"Look at her a scared little girl" Max laughs.
The men ran.
Max tuns and see them running away.
"Guys?"
Just then Beth attacks him.
"Your killed our family" she yells.
Max grabs a dagger then slash at her face she crash to the ground.
He smiles with the dagger ready to kill but then a scream.
It's Steive.
The men keep running but somthing appaers demons Tomtes,a Befana a species similar to a witch and an ice demon called Jack frost.
Only screams are heard
The boss man runs then gets grabs a Perchta as a Hans Trapp comes in and helps kill him.
At the open woods.
"You could just left" Max said "And Christmas is just a fake like eveything in this world".
"I was right about you" Steive said "You monster".
Max did not care.
Kids can be monsters.
Just then red eyes appaer all around demons.
Beth sees boxes all relate to demons, they have angered them.
Many Yule lads all look,
Max looked with fear.
Then he pushed steive in the hole.
"Steive" Beth calls out.
Even the Yule lads looked surpirsed at this of what Max did.
"As for you Beth go to hell"
Then a roar.
All looked up
Above as the snow storm gets worst as massive creatures is going though, its the Alpha (Slayer Sylvanas).
Marry and her group hears this and Marry eyes widen of horror.
Beth sees a rift portal open where the hole is,
Then coming out of the rift is a demon somthing out of a nightmare.
Half goat/man with one goat leg with a hoof, one man leg with a foot, hair is mix of brown and black, hoovves are cloven, long and pionted tongue out of a mouth full of teeth, bear that is white, the face looks messed up, long arms with long finngers and claws, a long tail with tuff of fur, messed up robs covering the heads and hood half of its head leaving its eyes, mouth and teeth.
In size is stands tailler then a human as big as an ogre.
It reach out its right fingers its red eyes looking at them.
Just then.
The boy runs for it slasxh his sister with the dagger then leaving his sister to die.
As the demons grow with rage.
Running though the woods as the snow storm gets worst.
"HELL WITH THEM!" he said as he runs.
The Yule lads grows and yell with rage.
As the boy ran he nearly got hit by horns from goat demons called Yule goats all looked angry.
Marry runs fast then see far back the demon.
"Krampus" said with horror.
The others got to her.
"I knew it, I knew they lure them here" the other elf rants.
Krampus was not done yet, as it calls.
In the woods is the Yule cat.
Max runs but the Yule cat blocks the way and runs back as the Yule cat has its red eyes on him.
He turns and right at the face of wrath itself.
Krampus.
It's red eyes narrow of rage, want Max did angered the demon.
It moves its right finger, its teeth bear.
Then it attacks the teenager with pure rage.
Lifts him up then snap.
Beth deelpy injuryed gets up.
Then Max's body lands and blood spred around.
Beth looks down and see at her cut.
She grap her eyes widen in horror.
Turns black
Dark Night Eve
Hello this is Slayerseriesdragons and this is the first Christmas story I did i was not planning on it but i though i try somthing like real life not eveyone has a magicly time before christmas and this is one of them.
And the most of creatures here don't really get enough attention behind Krampus I wanted to show these creatures are not the real monsters even know they kill they more of a force of vengances enither good nor evil like all the demons, and show children can be monsters Max did this to his family and hets his end by the very creatures he sees as lesser
For anyone that wants to know what happen to Beth here it is the post credit sence
Christmas Day Morning, the sun is open and looks normal.
At the site many police cars and elves are here.
Merry stands here Beth was she did not move for hours.
{Last night, Beth died to the demonic power from the dagger Max used on her, The demon, Krampus was slain By Marry long with other demons like the Yule cat was fought near a house that has a mother and daughter, all of them where enraged and came here, as for the dragon was last seen heading to Azeroth after, the bodies of the family where burn in fire and gving a fare well by people who they knew the family, all have died the old woman was found dead in the house, meaning Max killed her, as for Max many called him a monster form of a boy for betray and the killing of his family, his kin}
Later that Night Marry stands in the spot.
"Children can be monsters its no diffrent by the end" she said turns her head "easy for one to be a monster"
The elf's face shows more.
"I saw myself in the Alpha the Dragon and I agree with it"
That was Dark Night Eve is was a hard one to do and very sad and dark, sorry if any of you are hurt by this as it was painful for me to write so i made an ending and here it is.
At the elf village Marry is with her kind, with her family of elves, Marry feels better to be home, she is luckly to have them, as she looks up then looks sad.
Christmas Eve
