Work Text:
Never did Harry think he would turn to scrapbooking to deal with his emotions but his therapist -Marry- suggested getting a hobby that was creative and healthy, so scrapbooking it is.
He spent so much damn money on this. Good thing he’s rich.
Pulling out the nice blank notebook that was most likely supposed to be a sketchbook but was perfect for scrapbooking. Pulling out all the extra stuff he bought, maybe he was in over his head. He had well over ten sticker sheets, those cute aesthetic photo cards, the nice pens, those craft scissors that cut weird edges, washi tape dried leaves and even a feather he found on the ground and thought was cool.
Uncapping the blue pen he just started writing.
I have no idea what I'm doing but this is supposed to help me feel grounded and I'm feeling pretty ungrounded right now. My friends want me to go back to school but how can I? I logically know i need to graduate before i can become a teacher but so many people have offered me positions as an Auror, like yes i defeated Voldy but that's not what i want to do for the rest of my life, wow i did not expect this to work, why am I spilling my thoughts into a notebook?
Pulling back from the page he took a deep breath. Grabbing the sticker sheet closest to him, it was one that was based on a movie that a lot of people have been talking about recently. There were even puffy stickers! Looking at the flat stickers he found one of what he thinks is the main villain and puts it close to Voldemort's name in the scrapbook and draws an arrow from the sticker and aggressively underlines voldemort's name with the red.
Next he pulls out the washi tap and places it around the borders of the paper. The neon pink looked weirdly on the yellowish paper but Harry shrugged it off. Grabbing one of the cool photos and the scissors he cut the edges to be wavy and fun before grabbing another sticker sheet with rectangular ones that had images of the sky. Harry stuck the stickers on opposite corners of the image and slapped it onto the last bit of blank space on the page.
Taking a step back, it was pretty ugly. The realization made him bust out laughing. It was
ridiculous
but very nice, maybe Marry is onto something. Though, what he did might be closer to journaling than scrapbooking
