Ren and Bigb are soulmates.
They build their base together to survive.
What nether of them accounted for would be the longing to be closer to the other.
Ren blamed it on the soulbond between them (that of his big dumb heart).
The dog hybrid realized he loves the other man as they sit, talking about plans on how to survive this crazy world and possibly win.
They sit down on a couch in their base as they talk.
Ren sits their as Bigb talks, staring at the human's lips.
He wants to just lean forward and kiss him-
"-Ren are you kissing to me?" Bigb asks, snapping Ren back to reality.
Ren is glad his sunglasses blocked his eyes so Bigb could not see him staring at hi lips, "Yeah, yeah, totally dude." Ren says, "Just really quick, what were you saying?"
Bigb sighs, "I don't even know."
Ren licks his lips to wet them and he sees Bigb's eyes move to them with the action.
Ren holds his breath as he looks at Bigb.
They sit there starring at each other for what seems like hours, before slowly they find themselves inching closer until they are mere inches apart.
Ren looks from Bigb's lips to his eyes, checking for any hesitation from the human.
He finds none so they slowly get even closer, their lips connecting in a slow gentle kiss.

Ren's heart hurt so much when he would out about Bigb and Grian's little secret after he had breathed his last.
He sat in his base back at Hermitcraft wondering what he did wrong.
