They'd tried this once before, and it hadn't worked.
Milori had lost a wing, and she'd decided that being together was too dangerous, and he'd followed her lead.
But this time was different. There was a way, a way no one had to end up hurt, thanks to some meddlesome little fairies. And maybe, just maybe, they could try again.
They both changed, and so too had the world around them. They'd gotten a second chance, and maybe this one would finally let them be happy.
If she could, she'd spend forever by his side.
