Chapter Text
It was another day at the literature club with just four members, Sayori, Yuri, Natsuki, and Jack. The school festival was next month so they needed to work on their writing as much as possible and get another member too or their club just won't be taken seriously. Luckily for them the doors to the club room flew open as a familiar girl walked through the door. "Hello, I'd like to join that club" and then the camera pans up to show that it's Monika! Certainly not a multidemensional traveler who killed everyone to get Jack's love who then erased her from the universe and reset the timeline. "OMG!" Exclaimed Sayori "You! The most popular most smartest girl in school want to join our club!?" "Yes I would like to join because I just love literature!" Sayori beams with joy as she welcomes Monika in excitement thinking that since they have Monika joining their club there is no way they'll be taken lightly! Yuri and Natsuki soon walked out of the closet carrying piles of books and manga and they of course also immediately freak out seeing the most respected gal in school joining their club. Jack however is not very happy about this since he swore he had removed her from the universe but let's forget about this since this story isn't about him. So the rest of the day went by smoothly with the members reading and analyzing books with Monika being really into it. Eventually throughout the reading Jack finally warmed up to talking to Monika again because it seems like she's finally changed and wow oh wow everyone is now having a great time! Although time flies fast when you're having fun and the school will close soon so they all have to head home. "Hey to celebrate our new member we should have a sleepover!" Sayori said excitedly. Jack politely declined stating that he had schoolwork he needed to complete leaving only the girls to have the sleepover.

The girls decided that they should have the sleepover at Monika's house since she has the nicest house and her parents weren't home for this week. Monika set her house up perfectly with snacks set up and every room was perfectly cleaned and now all that was left was to wait for the others to show up soon since the clock just hit nine. The doorbell rings immediately after Monika thinks this as she perks up immediately and dashes towards the door opening it after calming herself back down. 'First time having company over in a while and of course it has to be the people you DID horrible things to... But! They don't remember so I just need to not get nervous since this is the time to actually get to know them!' Monika thought as her hand twisted the door knob. Oh it's just Sayori wearing hello kitty pajamas with a bag. "Hey Sayori! Where are Natsuki and Yuri?" Monika asked as she looked over Sayori's pajamas one more time. "Oh Yuri offered to stay behind and convince Natsuki's dad to let Natsuki come with us and before I left it did not seem like it was going well..." Sayori stated as she picked at her fingernails. Oh!
