Chapter Text

Karasuno
• Tsuki vehemently denies the cuddling offer but will begrudgingly accept if Yamaguchi begs him enough or Suga asks
• Always ends up tucked into Suga’s side somehow
• Asahi was reluctant, but after Noya (literally) dragged him into it, he realized it wasn’t so bad

Aoba Johsai
• The third years are always the ones to initiate it
• Kyouken took a while to start joining them, cause he didn’t like the idea of having to get so close to so many people at once
• Oikawa always flops onto Iwaizumi
• Kunimi didn’t really like the idea, but the captain suggested it and Kindaichi was doing it, so why not
• The cuddle piles turn into nap piles a lot since half of the team just falls asleep most of the time

Nekoma
• Kenma just straight up said no to the idea, but Kuroo said he could keep his game console for a little bit during it, so he reluctantly agreed
• Definitely just a nap pile
• If Lev can actually stay still long enough, everyone ends up falling asleep
• Lev’s either stretched all the way out or knotted into the tightest ball ever
• Yaku always looks super cozy, he’s usally snuggled up with one of the other third years

Fukurodani
• Bokuto’s always got to be in the very center

Dateko
• Somebody always ends up getting the life squeezed out of them by Kongane (usually Sukunami)

Shiratorizawa
•Tendou always ends up sprawled over literally everybody somehow
•Goshiki and Shirabu always end up squished next to eachother and Shirabu acts like he hates it
•Semi’s pressed up against Ushijima and has to remind him to loosen his muscles

Chapter Text

• Basically uses Yamaguchi’s first name as a pet name 
• Will shorten it to ‘Dashi on special occasions (usually when he’s super tired or unusually excited/happy)
• The first time he did it was a slip of the tongue, Yamaguchi freaked out while Tsuki insisted it wasn’t on purpose 
• Hates physical affection, but is always making exceptions for one reason or another
• Suga’s his favorite upperclassmen
• Matured too early so he’s always too embarrassed to be a bit more openly childish/affectionate
• Really likes chill/quiet indie music
• Playlists are his love language
• Likes stargazing (mostly by himself, but sometimes Yamaguchi will tag along too)
• Respects Akaashi for putting up with Bokuto
• He may be super blunt, but he’d never be intentionally mean to Yamaguchi 
• He has a slightly hard time identifying and understanding emotions
• The big ones he gets, but the smaller, more subtle ones give him a harder time
• Gets annoyed at himself when he can’t figure things out
• Warmed up to Yachi really easily since she reminds him of Yamaguchi
• Definitely becomes friends with Kageyama before Hinata
• Thought Kuroo was super annoying at first, but he’s kind of warmed up to him (kind of)
• Lets Yamaguchi use him as a pillow a lot

Chapter Text

• Tendou’s super flexible and is always sitting in the weirdest/scariest ways possible
• He treats Goshiki like his kid, which he also roped Ushijima into somehow
• Shirabu finds Goshiki super annoying and is always kinda rude to him, but Goshiki never notices because he thinks Shirabu’s just blunt like Ushijima
• Ushi really likes to read technical papers (especially if they’re about volleyball)
• He would probably be really good at cuddling once he figured out how to be less rigid and stiff 
•  Semi seems pretty chill, but he actually gets ticked off really easily, depending on the person
• Tendou and Ushi are in a QPR
• Tendou has AuDHD and Ushi has autism
• Ushijima reads primarily nonfiction books
• Ushi’s always rooting for Goshiki, but he can never tell because of how blunt Ushi always is
• He wants to understand jokes, but he literally can’t because most of them don’t make any sense to him
• The tape on Tendou’s fingers is for volleyball, but it also keeps him from biting at them
• Goshiki definitely cries when he’s really upset or overwhelmed and he gets really embarrassed about it
• He doesn’t like being treated like a kid, but he’s always letting Tendou baby him

Chapter Text

• Aone gives the gentlest hugs ever
• Futakuchi loves giving Aone fistbumps/sidebumps, etc. even though it always hurts, he’s usually just too pumped with adrenaline to care
• Aone is apologetic to try to make people less wary of him
• He would definitely carry one of his teammates somewhere with no hesitation if they asked
• The team’s gotten pretty good at guessing Aone’s emotions, but Futakuchi’s the best at it, being right almost every time
• They definitely became friends in their first year when Futakuchi came up to Aone and just started talking, uncaring that he wasn’t getting any verbal responses
• Aone just sat there watching him yap like, ‘This is nice.’
• Futakuchi uses hairclips to keep his hair out of his face when he’s not playing volleyball 

Chapter Text

• Kuroo probably told Kenma that he could call him by his first name, but Kenma just doesn’t feel like it
• Kuroo refers to the team as different cat related nicknames (cats, kittens, kits, etc)
• He also does it individually (which Yaku is annoyed by)
• Lev being stupidly dense gets him into trouble a lot, not just with Yaku, but in public too
• He’s constantly commenting on things without thinking, he’s so blunt that he just says the first thing that comes to his mind
• He definitely got in trouble a a kid for it
• Kenma and Fukunaga get along since they’re both pretty quiet, even if Kenma thinks his jokes are kinda corny
• Kenma’s really good at zoning out
• He probably got bullied/made fun of back in like first grade, and though it wasn’t severe, it kind of fueled his avoidant tendencies (that he already kinda had)
• He used to cry a lot as a kid, but now he doesn’t really do it anymore unless he’s really distressed

Chapter Text

• Kogane really likes listening to Goshiki talk
• Being really tall and really excitable isn’t a great combo for him, he’s definitely accidentally hit someone before while he was fired up about something 
• They bring eachother up to their respective teams a lot
• Kogane does it a bit more than Goshiki, Dateko basically knows everything about him by now
• They get super excited every time they see eachother in person
• Goshiki tries to play it cool, but it’s super obvious
• Both lack volume control sometimes
• Kogane would definitely make them matching bracelets with square beads and Goshiki would lose his mind (Tendou would tease him about it when he sees it)
• It’d probably either spell out their names or just be made up of a bunch of random colors (Goshiki’d love it anyway)

Chapter Text

• Kageyama gets hit on a lot and she’s always so confused
• Asahi gets harrased a lot at school
• Tsukishima and Yamaguchi are super duper close (both metaphorically and literally), they’re always together
• Oikawa is always trying to get Iwaizumi to carry her
• Kenma keeps her hair long because Kuroo says she likes it more that way
• She usually only lets Kuroo do stuff with her hair, but she makes exceptions for the team sometimes (usually Yaku)
•Tendou changes hairstyles like every 6 months
• Hinata has the softest hair in the universe
• Tsukishima’s really vicious when she’s actually trying to be mean
• Kuroo’s hair is always tangled
• Karasuno has sleepovers all the time

Chapter Text

• Flexes his fingers as a nervous habit
• Doesn’t really like juice
• Bad at identifying sarcasm
• Mimicks other people’s facial expressions (it never looks right though)
• Copies Suga the most cause he admires his communication skills
• So bad at eye contact, he just stares straight at people without blinking
• Envies people with social skills so much
• Gets worried that Hinata would prefer a cooler, more charismatic setter (Like Oikawa/Atsumu) over him

Chapter Text

• Bokuto has dyslexia and ADHD
• He cries really easily
• Akaashi and Kenma are really good at communicating through glances
• The four of them love going to the arcade together
• Kenma gets the highscore on every game, Akaashi plays like one game and aces it, Kuroo is bragging about how good he is at the racing games, and Bokuto’s trying to get the prize that costs the most tickets
• Bokuto also really likes the lights and carpet patterns
• Akaashi and Kuroo are the best at cooking
• Kenma can only make noodles and Bokuto’s too impatient to wait for things to be ready
• Bokuto likes games with bright colors
• He gets annoyed when when he’s not good at a game at first, but if he likes it enough, he’ll always come back to it after he’s done sulking
• Bokuto picks up Kenma a lot and even though it annoyed him at first, he actually enjoys it (not that he’d admit it)
