Chapter Text
The scientific kingdom had just finished its fight against Tsukasa, and while he was cryogenically frozen thanks to Senku, a new mission lay ahead: to find the artifact that petrified all of humanity and save his life, with his little sister Mirai as a witness to a promise Senku had no intention of breaking.
To achieve this, modernization was paramount, and of course, with the power of science, it would be achieved. The first step was to build a ship.
After a painful defeat for Yo and Magma, Senku's ship proposal won, and with it came the assigned task of ship Captain with the skills to handle the sails. Minami led the team to the island where an old naval school had been located before the petrification. When they assembled all the statues, it was clear how nervous she was about meeting Ryusui Nanami, the owner of the academy and an ambitious rich kid who had shone with talent since he was young. Someone who put his interests first, and that's why Tsukasa hated him. While Minami tried to warn her how bad it would be to wake him up, Senku had already taken care of emptying the miraculous liquid. The only important thing was that he needed the perfect captain to fulfill his mission of crossing the world.
As the pieces of stone fell and with a thunderous laugh, Ryusui unpetrified himself.
"I'm finally back. Now the whole world will be at my feet again!" He exclaimed with a big smile.
"I'm finally back to life. You don't know how I yearn for the whole world, and I know perfectly well that everyone yearned for me."
His face beamed with a bright smile, while the others' faces darkened as they realized how difficult it would be to deal with Ryusui's ambitious personality.
And he was naked.
"No way, Minami. Now I know what you were talking about," Nikki said in surprise. "I wanted to warn you," both girls lamented.
Ryusui's gaze turned to the distinguished group. "Mhm. So you were the ones who saved me? I have to thank you however I can. My butler will write you a check, 10 billion or 20 billion, whatever you want. I'll have my assistant make sure you get the money." He snapped, snapping his fingers. "François! Ishikawa!"
A silence accompanied by the waves of the sea and a panoramic view of the great forest that consumed what remained of civilization over the years was visible to the blond, who analyzed the situation carefully.
"Everything seems to indicate that I won't be able to do even that. It seems that civilization has fallen and that the Nanami like me have lost all our fortune. Am I correct?"
"Wow, you're right. It's impressive that you grasped it so quickly?" Senku spoke, expectant at the man's calmness in the face of the facts.
Excited by this news, he shouted, "This is my chance. Thank you so much for waking me up. If the world doesn't belong to anyone, then it's my time to get it all!"
"Start by getting dressed, please." The blushing reporter approached him with a set of clothes. "HAHA. Excuse me, how impolite of me in front of three beauties."
"This one has trouble counting, there are only two," Magma said, pointing at Kohaku and Minami, who was punched in the groin by an angry Nikki with a crooked smile. "You don't always have to tell the truth in life."
"What are you talking about?" Ryusui put his hat on while Magma writhed on the ground. "Everyone can have their type, but all women are beautiful, or am I wrong?" He finished with a big smile.
"And speaking of beautiful women, are all the statues that were in the academy here?" Kohaku shook his head, "Mmm, I thought so." The blond placed his hand on his chin thoughtfully until he walked over to Senku. "I need a favor."
Senku raised his eyebrow in confusion. What did the sailor need from any of the petrified people in that area?

"Ryusui! Everything's ready." Taiju approached, agitated, while Yuzuriha finished dressing a statue.
"HAHA! Perfect!" He exclaimed as he uncorked the bottle Senku gave him with the liquid from the miraculous cave and approached the stone woman. "Are you sure it'll be of use? She doesn't look like someone who's a navigator," Magma speculated, standing next to the blond.
"It's because she's more than that!" He laughed as he poured the liquid over her head. "Miss Ishikawa and Francois were the most effective people in my quest to obtain everything I desire in the modern age." He smiled at the statue that was slowly breaking apart. "She was with me the day this mysterious phenomenon happened." From the statue's position, it looked as if it was about to run away, then when the effect finished, it hit the ground due to its lack of balance.
"AH- Ouch!"
"Welcome," Ryusui spoke, smiling at her. The young woman looked up, her eyes lighting up as she hurriedly stood up, looking around her. The wild undergrowth, stone statues, and a group of people wearing clothing that bordered on the primitive. The young sailor, who, in contrast to his previous shouts, spoke in a calm tone as he extended his hand.
"Rue, I was chosen for a great mission, but I want something more. Help me conquer the whole world!"
Ishikawa, who had been blinded by the situation, focused only on Ryusui. Giving him a warm smile before beginning to laugh softly.
"Whatever you wish, Young Nanami," he accepted, gently taking his hand.
At this scene, the thoughts of those present were divided in two.
"You two don't look alike at all."
"What a beautiful smile she have."
