mine, body, soul

Summary:

Phainon always has his sun tattoo out on display, but these strangers don’t know the story behind it; they don’t know how it represents you. And you’re sick of it.

Five times where you not-so-subtly stake your claim over your boyfriend and the one time Phainon claims you as his.

Work Text:

It started at the karaoke lounge.

Your group of friends had decided to unwind because finals were over. After studying hard, you all agreed it was well deserved. And it was supposed to be fun and relaxing.

It had been.

In the flashy neon room, you and your companions took turns harmonizing and vocalizing to popular songs—some more reluctant than others, but the peer pressure was hard to resist.

Cipher had gone first, choosing to sing Ain’t It Fun and dancing around the room, trying to get her audience to sing along with her, but only half the group had. Nevertheless, you, Cipher, Tribbie, and Phainon had a good time.

Castorice had gone next, and seeing her quietly singing her rendition of Set Fire to the Rain before gradually getting into the beat, and when the chorus came, she passionately belted out the lyrics with everyone cheering her on—you couldn’t help but laugh at her change in demeanor.

She had been quite bashful when you told her to go, but looked how that turned out.

After Castorice finished, she shyly smiled before holding out the microphone, waiting on someone to take it from her.

With a grin, Phainon nudged the blonde man beside him, and Mydei frowned while shaking his head, but upon seeing the group staring expectantly at him, he gave in.

You watched as Mydei scrolled through the playlist, wondering what his selection was going to be.

Would it be something hardcore? Something metal? Or… maybe something unexpected… something that screamed girlypop?

Mydei lingered between In The End and Demons before deciding on Warriors

As expected.

With that, the instrumental started and as he began, you were taken in by his performance.

He sang with such a strong voice, with such conviction that you were transported to a time where a distant city was built from war and strife. You couldn’t explain it, but the song fit him so well.

Looking around, you weren’t the only one who had been mesmerized.

The ending instrumentals rang out, and Mydei opened his eyes after giving his all into the song, both hands on the microphone.

…He hadn’t expected to get so into it.

Everyone gave an applause with Phainon teasing Mydei for being against it but then putting on a show like that—to which Mydei just grumbled while handing the microphone over to Tribbie, taking his previous spot on the shared couch.

She had been wanting to go next, and her eyes sparkled, roaming the screen for a specific song.

The selection landed on Lights before she took her place in front of the television.

Synthesized notes played before the beat came, and then Tribbie started her light and airy vocals.

Honestly, she sounded very natural, and in her element you wondered if she had practiced in her own time.

The song came to an end, and Tribbie lightly giggled, probably out of embarrassment at being so eager. When you told her she was amazing, she laughed it off again with her playful eyes flickering between Aglaea who was avoiding her gaze and Anaxa who was looking to the side at the wall.

Sensing the hesitation between them, Phainon chose for them, playfully pushing Anaxa over to the front.

Anaxa was busy resisting, but he sighed. Might as well get his turn over with… Seeing as Mydei also went…

And you were dying to know what song Anaxa would pick. That man was a mystery, more so than Mydei.

Scrolling the playlist, Anaxa furrowed his brows. None of the songs really seemed that appealing to him… He couldn’t imagine himself singing any of them… But he felt the intensity behind him, knowing his friends were waiting on him.

Fine… if he had to do this then… he’ll select this one.

The beginning melody of Death of a Bachelor commenced, and Anaxa tried to lessen his efforts in his singing, but like the others before him, he found himself being swayed by the rhythm, the lyrics, the mood—ending up on the floor, performing for his friends.

When the music stopped, the room bursted into laughter at his grand performance, even Aglaea had to wipe a tear from her eye.

After she composed herself, Aglaea stood up to take the microphone from Anaxa who cleared his throat before returning to his seat, hands in his lap—all nonchalant as if nothing had happened.

With Aglaea scanning the catalogue, you were curious on what she would decide on as well. You had never heard her voice in this kind of environment before.

Would she sing something elegant? Something like the classics? You weren’t sure.

Unfortunately, you couldn’t see what she had picked, but you didn’t have to wonder any further because the sounds of violin and piano quickly filled the area.

It was a moment before you realized it was the tune of La Vie En Rose

Aglaea’s soft voice joined the instruments, and you could have sworn you were in a romance movie with each word that flowed into the air. The way she sang, it was enchanting and lovely.

Somewhat paying attention to the lyrics, you sneaked a glance to your right—to a certain man, to your boyfriend, to Phainon.

Leaning against the couch, his lips were slightly parted, eyes intensely focused ahead with an arm settled on the backrest behind you.

You shouldn’t be concentrating on him right now, especially among friendly company; however, the song greatly reminded you of him. You wanted to know if it reminded him of you too, but it was such a silly thought that you immediately dismissed it—not even realizing you were staring at him, having evolved from just a brief glance.

Feeling your gaze on him, Phainon turned his head towards you, wondering what you wanted, but froze when he met your eyes. If he didn’t know any better, he would have thought you had hearts in them.

He could feel his heart speeding up again, always happening when you were around. Too bad Hyacine couldn’t make it, or else he would have asked her to recheck him. At this point, he was afraid you were bad for his health.

If he was being honest, he had been thinking of you after Agalea sang part of the first verse: When you kiss me heaven sighs . Those lyrics couldn’t describe the first time he kissed you any better. That corner of the library will forever be imprinted in his memories. And he was still swooning every time you pressed your lips against his.

He wanted to kiss you right now, actually. Why were you looking at him like that?

“Hey, lovebirds!” Cipher’s voice interrupted the moment.

Quickly removing your gaze from Phainon, you straightened up, embarrassed at being caught by your friends.

Phainon also sat up straighter, a hand covering half his face to prevent his friends from seeing his cheeks.

“If you two weren’t lost in your own world, you would’ve known Aglaea finished her song for a while now…” Cipher had one hand on her hip. Pointing a finger in your direction and then moving it towards Phainon, she said, “You two are the only ones who haven’t gone yet…” A mischievous smile played on her lips before she suggested, “How about a duet?”

A duet? Honestly, it didn’t sound too bad…

“Duet! Duet! Duet!” Tribbie chanted with a fist in the air.

Castorice nodded. “A duet would be a nice change of pace. I am looking forward to it.”

“You heard the crowd. Get up there, you two!” Smirking, Cipher rallied you and Phainon up to the front.

Handing you a microphone and Phainon another, she quickly went back to the couch.

You and Phainon stood before the television, clutching your respective microphones, unmoving and unsure.

Finally facing Phainon, you asked, “What do you want to sing?”

“Let’s see what they have.” Phainon swiped across the bright screen.

Many songs were skipped over before he paused on one, finger lingering over the screen and slowly looking at you for approval.

Agreeing with his decision, a faint smile reached your lips as you nodded with him returning the gesture with his own smile.

The gentle strums of guitar began as you and Phainon stared at one another, microphones at the ready.

After a moment, Phainon sang the first lines, “I, I just woke up from a dream. Where you and I had to say goodbye. And I don’t know what it all means. But since I survived, I realized… ” Coming closer to you, he reached for your hand, and you let him take it. “ Wherever you go, that’s where I’ll follow.”

He had said something similar in the library, and you couldn’t contain your grin as he continued the lyrics, bringing you near him, and it was as if he was singing to you.

Noticing your part was coming up, you separated from him, hands still intertwined, “Lost, lost in the words that we scream. I don’t even wanna do this anymore…”

You suddenly returned to him, gazing up at him. With his eyes fixed with yours, Phainon moved his hand to your waist, voice uniting with yours. “Cause you already know what you mean to me. And our love’s the only war worth fighting for. Wherever you go, that’s where I’ll follow. Nobody’s promised tomorrow. So I’ma love you every night like it’s the last night…”

When you were with Phainon, it was hard to focus on anything else. “If the world was ending, I’d wanna be next to you. If the party was over and our time on Earth was through. I’d wanna hold you just for a while and die with a smile. If the world was ending, I’d wanna be next to you…

With the song nearing the end, Phainon held you close, and you had forgotten something important.

“Get a room!” Despite his words, Mydei’s hands were brought together, and his lips were pulled up into a slight smile.

Right. You two weren’t the only ones in here.

“We’re already in one!” Phainon quipped.

Laughing, your remaining friends clapped as well, impressed by yours and Phainon’s performance.

Sometimes, the both of you were sickly sweet… maybe all the time…

“The definition of romance,” Aglaea remarked with amused eyes.

Detaching yourself from Phainon for real this time, you placed both hands on your face and looked away from them, calming yourself.

Ah, their encouragement was nice but… it was still a little embarrassing for them to witness you like this…

In an attempt to save you from humiliation, Phainon offered, “Anybody want drinks or anything? On me! I’m feeling thirsty after that…”

“Me! I’ll take a soda.”

“If there’s cake, I would like some…”

“If you’re offering, then orange juice.”

“I’ll take juice too!”

“Water, and you have my gratitude.”

“You think they have pomegranate juice?”

Looking at Mydei, Phainon stated, “I’ll ask.”

During that time, you had decided to sit back down.

Phainon approached you, aware you hadn’t said your order yet. “Did you want anything?”

“...Oh, milk tea...”

Carefully studying you, Phainon could tell you wanted to say something else, but you stayed quiet, giving him a smile that didn’t reach your eyes. He decided not to press it and smiled back, heading for the door. “Be right back!”

You and the crew acknowledged him.

As if the ice had been broken, they all clamored for the microphone to make use of the time they paid for at the establishment, including you.

Phainon had been gone for a while.

Becoming antsy, you glimpsed at the door, to where he had gone.

“Worried?”

Yes, of course. With your attention landing on Mydei, you pursed your lips, nodding.

“You want to check, or do you want me to?”

He was always considerate. “I’ll check, thanks Mydei.”

Folding his hands and leaning back into the couch, Mydei reassured, “He might have gotten lost. Would not put it past him.”

You hoped that was all it was.

Standing up after Tribbie’s song, you explained to your companions that you were going to look for Phainon.

They were understanding, and you exited the room.

There had been a bar where they likely sold food and refreshments, so you walked there.

It didn’t take that long to grab some drinks and cake, did it? What was taking him so long?

Stepping into the open area, your eyes lit up at the familiar sight of your boyfriend; however, they darkened after realizing what kept him from returning.

Waiting for the beverages and cake had taken a bit of time, and when Phainon was handed the tray, he had been ready to make his way back to you and everyone else—before a woman stopped him in his tracks. She made conversation with him. At first, it was polite, small talk and the like. After recognizing she could keep going, he had tried to slide out of it, but she was being very insistent.

Now, he was stuck here, listening to her ramble on about men and how she has been down on her luck. She couldn’t be blind. If she hadn’t noticed, he was a man too… So why was she complaining to him?

…Why was she getting closer to him?

“Sorry you had to hear me vent, I just wished more guys would be good listeners like you… By the way, do you have a girlfriend?”

Actually, he did. “Yeah. And she’s waiting for me to get back, so… I’m just gonna…” Once again, Phainon grabbed the tray off the counter and attempted to leave, but she followed him after he took a step away.

Normally, Phainon was a patient person—he really was. This lady was testing it, however.

How long has it been since he left? You were surely looking for him by now.

“Do you treat her well?”

Without a doubt. “Of course.”

“Would you do anything for her?”

No question about it. “If she says to jump, I’ll jump.”

Satisfied with his answer, the woman finally let him go.

But not before you hurriedly came up to them.

“Snowy, you’re here!” Throwing yourself at Phainon, you made sure to reveal your wrist to the onlooking woman as your arms wrapped around him.

“Sunny, you came!” Happiness filled his voice, unable to contain his emotions in your presence.

And if the woman had doubted Phainon’s words before, she couldn’t now.

There you were: the girlfriend who he was talking about, fussing over why he hadn’t returned yet while giving her the side-eye.

Matching outfits? Kind of cute, not going to lie. Did he say Sunny? That explained the sun tattoo she had been wondering about. You said Snowy? Your display of your tattooed wrist was anything but subtle.

If she had a man like him, she wouldn’t let him go either.

Lucky, you.

She wished she could be as lucky.

Registering that she wasn’t going to be lucky here either, she quickly made her escape—leaving you and Phainon alone.

Pouting while walking with Phainon back to the room, you asked, “Was she hitting on you?”

“I don’t think so? Think she was just making friendly conversation.”

You didn’t believe him. He was always so unaware of these things. Well-aware of his attractiveness, you couldn’t blame women for shooting their shot with him; however, it didn’t make you any happier.

Phainon always has his sun tattoo out on display, but these strangers didn’t know the story behind it; they didn’t know it represented you. And you were sick of it.

You should do something about it.

Your resolve was steel as you and Phainon came back to your group of friends with the food and drinks.

Everybody was none the wiser to your scheming.

Having offered to grab snacks for her and Phainon, Cipher was waiting in line at the concession stand at the arcade. Her gaze roamed the area while the line moved.

The various machines made different high-pitched noises with purposeful flashing lights, tempting customers to use their play tokens on them.

Curious on how her friend was doing, she looked at where Phainon was standing, and to her surprise— rather than alone, there were two girls hanging around him, looking up at him with their undivided attention. Phainon had a hand behind his neck, a nervous tick as Cipher had noticed.

She wasn’t sure how long they'd been there because she had been away for some time, but she could tell their presence was unwelcomed.

With Phainon barely talking, the girls were busy having a one-sided conversation with him.

It wasn’t until their eyes caught sight of his wrist that their happy expressions turned bored, quickly saying their goodbyes to the confused man who didn’t return it.

After Cipher returned to Phainon, she glanced at the spot where their eyes had landed before giving him his food.

Thanking her, he reached for it, and his sleeve uncovered enough for her to see what had them losing interest.

“Not so fast.” Taking the food back from him and seeing Phainon’s eyes slightly widened, Cipher continued, “Are you cheating on Sunny?”

“What?” With offense taken, Phainon asked, “Why would you say that?”

Cipher gestured towards the direction the earlier two girls disappeared in. “What was that?”

“They were asking if I was waiting for someone, and I said I was. Then they asked if it was a girlfriend, and I said no. For some reason, they looked happy until…” Looking in their direction before resting his eyes on his wrist, Phainon went on, “they saw my wrist. Then, they just left…”

Yeah, they left.

Because the Sharpie on his wrist was definitely a phone number. Whose? Well, that was what Cipher wanted to know.

“Is that a phone number on your wrist?”

“Oh… yeah.”

There was no way Phainon, out of all people, would be cheating on you, right?

“Whose?”

“Sunny’s…”

Cipher was sure you were the first number on the speed dial on Phainon’s phone, so why was your number on his wrist?

“Don’t you have Sunny’s number already? Why do you have it written down?”

“That’s what I said to her, but she insisted. Said something like ‘what if I lose my phone?’ And well, I can’t say no to her…”

“She wrote it on you?”

“Yeah.”

Hm… Studying the mark on his skin, Cypher wondered why you did it. The numbers written in thick black ink were easily distinguishable; anyone could tell the digits were meant for a phone.

Phainon held a hand out, eyeing the food that was withdrawn from him. “So can I have my fries now?”

Giving the fries to him as Phainon happily consumed the snack, Cypher continued to ponder on your intentions.

As she looked at her companion from the corner of her eye, she took notice of his trademarked sun tattoo. And realization hit her, recalling a specific conversation she had with you. It had been in passing, but it was enough for her to connect the dots.

Sitting on the sidewalk, you sighed with your gaze afar, feeling dejected during another group hang out.

Cipher came up behind you, saying your name before taking a seat beside you, worried for her friend. “What’s got you all sad and down?”

“It’s something really silly…”

“Spill it!”

“You know… sometimes I wish I could just put a collar with my name on Phainon…”

…Sometimes, you say the craziest things—the most unhinged statements of all time. But you could be like that when it came to him. And this wasn’t even the most insane thing you’ve said so far.

“Why?”

“Don’t tell me you haven’t noticed?”

What were you trying to say? Staring at you, Cipher tried to think what you were referring to.

“Whenever we go out, Phainon’s always being approached by some other girl! Like I shouldn’t be insecure—it’s unnatural, I know! …But they should know he’s mine. The sun tattoo isn’t enough…”

The sun tattoo wasn’t enough… So you have to be creative…

Creative… like writing your phone number on him to deter them… yet Phainon was unaware of your and others motives.

She had to respect your efforts.

Laughing at your antics, Cipher remarked, “Sunny must have a hard time, huh?”

With a fry hanging out of his mouth, Phainon turned towards her, curiosity in his eyes, wondering what she was talking about.

“Nothing…”

Honestly, she wasn’t sure if you were having a hard time, or Phainon was.

Anaxa quietly sat in the corner of a coffee shop, sipping on his drink while waiting for his friend to come.

Phainon had asked him for help with his homework, and despite his impatience, Anaxa didn’t want his friend to fail out of college, so here he was.

After a while, the seat before Anaxa was taken by Phainon, depositing his backpack on the chair beside him before taking out his laptop and turning it on.

Needing help with understanding something, Phainon turned the device around for Anaxa’s assistance, and Anaxa was ready to point out the logic behind the correct answer when he had taken notice of the indent on his companion’s arm.

…And he had to make sure he was seeing it correctly. “Is that a bite mark on your arm?”

Nodding, Phainon continued to look over the question, not revealing anything more.

Anaxa decided to ask. “Why would you do that to yourself?”

“Don’t be silly. I didn’t do it. Sunny did! As for why… I couldn’t really tell you…”

…You, of course…

How absurd. Anaxa couldn’t comprehend why Phainon sounded so proud, and he also couldn’t understand why you left an outrageous mark on him like that.

Wait a second, leaving a mark…

You have been grumpy lately, and Anaxa hasn't been blind; he knew why. Being observant had its perks, and he had seen many women flirting with Phainon—with the white-haired man being his normal unaware self.

Phainon only had eyes for you, but you couldn’t see that.

Your intention was quite obvious.

Anaxa quickly took a look at the golden ink on his friend.

Tattoos only had meaning to the person who got it, and to the ones who were there for the occasion. Nobody else knew about the meaning behind the sun on Phainon’s neck. And Anaxa knew you also had that knowledge.

…But resorting to a bite mark, really?

“You let her bite you?”

“Yeah. She says she just has the sudden urge to bite me sometimes.”

“...You don’t ask her why?”

“Uh, something about cuteness aggression? That just means she thinks I’m cute!”

…Anaxa couldn’t stand being around this puppy of a man anymore… but he did want Phainon to succeed, so he will continue to cooperate.

This guy was helplessly head over heels for you, and the same could be said for you with him.

Even back then, Phainon would follow you around like a lost dog, and you were often hanging off his arm. How the two of you weren’t dating until recently? Anaxa would never know.

As Anaxa went over the assignment and explained the reasoning on the answers to Phainon, he was glad you both recognized your feelings, no matter how insufferable the pair of you could be.

Checking her phone, Aglaea stood before the museum.

She had two tickets to a nearby gallery, and knowing Phainon’s interest in antiques and treasure, she had inquired if he had wanted to go with her.

Unsurprisingly, he did.

In the distance, Aglaea could see Phainon walking over to where she was.

Waving at her, he greeted her with a grin. “Aglaea!”

“Hello, Phainon.” He had on something new—something he hadn’t worn before.

On his neck was a black choker, its material was of the finest quality.

That was not all on his neck. Of course, he had the sun; that was a given. There on the opposite side of the tattoo—was a stain, a stain in the shape of lips, made with lipstick.

The choker she could forgive, it did look good on him; however, that mark was a bit much.

And she had a feeling you were the source of both.

Reaching into her purse, Aglaea withdrew a napkin, offering it towards Phainon.

“What’s that for?” Unsure of her gesture, Phainon asked.

With a finger at the right side of her neck, Agalea answered, “Did you and Sunny have a good time before this?”

Phainon’s hand came up to the spot where Aglaea had pointed out, startled by her question. “What?”

She couldn't help but notice he still hadn’t taken the item she was giving to him. “You have a stain there.”

Lightly touching his skin, Phainon realized that the area where she had made him aware of—that had been where you tenderly placed your lips upon before he left. He didn’t think much of it—enjoying your affection, but found it odd you had worn lipstick when you hadn’t been heading out. When he questioned you, you smiled at him before saying it was for good luck.

Being a good friend, Aglaea had informed him of the stain but… why was Phainon hesitant to rub it away? Honestly… he kind of liked having it on him.

Aware of his hesitance, Aglaea was thoroughly amused. “Do not tell me you are considering keeping it on you?”

Phainon was.

“Hardly appropriate for where we are going.”

It was.

“At the minimum, please move that choker up, so the stain remains less visible to wandering eyes.”

He did just that.

Quietly laughing to herself as they headed inside the gallery, Aglaea thought it was funny how Phainon didn’t know you basically had him on a leash.

Mydei and Phainon had exited the locker room, ready to enter the pool in the gym when he had seen the red marks on his friend’s back.

Did he have a cat? He didn’t remember Phainon having one… “Did a cat get you?”

Shifting his eyes to try to look at his back before shaking his head, Phainon replied, “No.”

On second thought, those marks looked more like nails being raked than cat scratches…

If it wasn’t from a cat, then it had to be… “Was it Sunny?”

Phainon nervously chuckled, scratching the back of his head. “She can be rough sometimes…”

A burst of laughter escaped Mydei before he asked, “You find enjoyment in it?”

“Very much…”

And Mydei was very much entertained.

In addition, he was very much aware of why you were doing it. He couldn’t blame you for your behavior; after all, he was conscious of your reasoning.

He had been walking with you out of the one shared class the two of you had when your outburst came out of nowhere.

“Mydei! If I’m not there, and a woman comes up to Phainon, you have to say you’re his boyfriend! I don’t care! I’m tired of it!”

In confusion, Mydei raised an eyebrow while looking at you. “Are you alright?”

A slight frown marred your face as you said, “...No.” Staring ahead, you pouted. “Instead of a sun, I just wanna tattoo my real name onto Phainon, so these people know…”

“...Know what?” He had a hunch on what you were going to say, yet he still asked.

“That he’s mine.”

Mydei scanned the pool area, aware of the peering in their direction. Often, he and Phainon went to the gym, so he knew their physique was nothing to scoff at… But he wondered if Phainon knew his effect on the people around him.

Phainon was busy stretching, preparing himself for the rigorous activity of swimming. Everyone was getting an eyeful of his muscles, unabashedly appreciating him until their eyes caught the red lines on his back before sweeping their gaze over to Mydei, then quickly looking away.

He knew what they were thinking, and they could think what they wanted.

Because Mydei knew the truth: You could be so possessive, unwilling to let your boyfriend go with anyone else who wasn’t part of the friend group.

In all fairness, Phainon could be too—even if you aren’t aware.

Even if you and Phainon were not officially together before, Phainon had been—and still was—akin to your guard dog. Whenever a guy who was not Mydei or Anaxa came near you, Phainon would get defensive and territorial—throwing an arm around you and lightly settling his head atop yours, signature cheeky grin on his face—with you returning his side embrace, clueless of his ambitions.

To Phainon’s credit, it did do the trick, and the guys backed off, assuming you were spoken for. You hadn’t thought much of it because you had always been close like that; however, Mydei knew better.

Phainon had confided in him, asking if it was normal to not want other men—ones who he wasn’t familiar with—near you.

Mydei had told him what his friend had wanted because you were the same way.

To think you and Phainon were cut from the same cloth…

Has he shown you that side of him yet?

Your behavior told Mydei everything he needed to know.

Sitting on a stool in the lively bar with a slight smile, you waited for Phainon to come over. He had to go to the restroom before being with you, having separated from your friends to have a little alone time together.

Once again, you had gone out with companions to the local bar; however, you were sure the mark you left on your boyfriend this time would be enough to discourage anyone from approaching him, especially since you were going to be around him.

Unexpectedly, someone else took the seat beside you.

“Hey.”

Turning your head to look at the person, you saw it was an unfamiliar man.

“Hi…” you greeted, suspicious of his intentions.

“You’re part of Professor Theodoros’s class, right?”

“Yeah, how did you know?”

“I’ve seen you in the room. You’re always with that white-haired guy.”

Humming with disinterest, your eyes roamed the room for said guy. “Yeah.”

“Is he your boyfriend?”

“Yes.”

“No wonder you guys are always next to each other.”

You and Phainon never got rid of the habit of sticking close to one another.

“This is going to sound weird, but is it okay if I get your number? I’d like to have someone I can talk with if I miss the class or something.”

Was he hitting on you? You weren’t usually in this kind of situation. But it sounded like he wanted to be genuine friends.

Studying him, you were about to answer when someone threw an arm around your shoulder, lightly knocking their head against yours. Your wrist was grabbed from your lap, maneuvered so that the snowflake was visible, a thumb gently and repeatedly caressing the tattoo.

“Sunny, who’s this?” Phainon’s voice was sharp, an unexplained emotion twisted his words.

The unknown man finally noticed the sun tattoo on him, and how could he not? The guy was practically drawing attention to it by leaning closer to you. Another thing he was showing off was the not-so-subtle red and purple mark on his collarbone.

“A friend, Snowy…”

The snowflake on your wrist was hard to ignore as well…

“A friend?”

“Yes.”

So, this guy was your boyfriend. The guy who you were always with during the class.

The man knew the smile on your boyfriend’s face was anything but innocent and sincere, at least when directed towards him.

“Can I talk to you somewhere private?”

“Okay.” With your attention back on the stranger, you apologized, “Sorry, maybe we can chat another time.”

Watching you being dragged by your boyfriend to somewhere, he had a feeling there wasn’t going to be another time.

Phainon usually wears his heart on his sleeve; however, his current expression was hard to read as you stared up at him in the secluded hallway—anxiety surfacing within because of the prolonged silence.

Unsure of his reason for wanting to privately speak with you, you asked, “Snowy… what is it?”

“...Were you about to give your number to him?” Phainon quietly returned your question with his own.

You weren’t, having felt strange about handing out your contact to someone who you just met. “No.”

Relieved, Phainon released a breath he had been holding in.

Something about this situation was awfully familiar… That night at the karaoke place, the situation had been in reverse.

“He was making friendly conversation.”

“Do you know that?”

“Do you?”

Blinking, Phainon was ignorant of what you were implying, searching your avoiding eyes for the hidden meaning behind your reply.

You scoffed, finding it funny he was confronting you about this problem when you had been a constant victim.

Lifting a finger, you lightly traced his collarbone, goosebumps raising along his skin at your touch and met his gaze. “Women are always flirting with you, you know? But you never know about it.”

Were they? Phainon had always thought they were being friendly… and then he saw the point you were making.

“That’s why I had to leave myself on you. This mark.” He hissed when you put pressure on the hickey you gave him earlier. “I did this on purpose so they know you’re mine.”

Realization dawned on Phainon. His friends had all noticed, but he didn’t. Throughout the days, you have been leaving a little something: the Sharpie, the bite mark, the lipstick stain, the scratches. The hickey currently on him. He wouldn’t be lying to say he hadn’t enjoyed them, but he hadn’t been aware of your motivation. Tugging at the gifted accessory on his neck and swallowing his own saliva, his breath hitched.

You wanted to stake a claim on him.

And the room was growing warmer by the second.

And if you were claiming him, he was going to do the same to you.

Because as much as he was yours, you were his.

With one hand against the wall beside your head, Phainon dipped down, slotting his lips with yours, not giving you any time to register his action before slipping his tongue in.

Gasping at the sudden intrusion, you only succeeded in driving his tongue in deeper, unable to stop him from exploring your mouth.

Suddenly, it was very hard to focus on anything else besides him, briefly forgetting where you were.

Separating from you with a nip on your lower lip, Phainon lowered his head by your side, scraping his teeth against your jugular before biting down, and an embarrassing sound escaped you, legs growing weak.

Catching and supporting you, he loved the noise he managed to pull out of you, so he continued to leave a plethora of marks, mottling your neck.

Rubbing your thighs together did nothing to alleviate the ache between your legs…

Holy fuck, you needed him now.

But this was a very public place.

And your friends were still very much in the establishment, probably wondering where you and Phainon were.

You and him had been gone for a while now; they must have thought something was up.

Accidentally brushing your hand past a door handle, and with what little thought you still had, you realized there was a restroom. Hoping it wasn’t a restroom of many stalls, you breathed out your boyfriend’s name, “...Phainon…”

Preoccupied with your neck, he answered, “Hm?”

“Let’s move inside here…” Opening the door, you gestured over as he removed himself from you.

Phainon knew where you wanted to go with this, eagerly following you into the single spacious restroom.

All things considered, it was a clean and tidy place for a bar; however, you didn’t have time to appreciate the decorations before Phainon crowded you against the table counter with a basin sink.

The mirror gave a good look at the damage he had done on your neck, watching as he buried his face in it again, relentlessly littering you with love bites, occasionally locking eyes with you through the mirror.

Sliding his hands under your shirt, he roamed your body, lightly squeezing one of your breasts while resting a hand on your stomach, pressing you against him, and you felt something hard digging itself into you.

You weren’t the only one turned on.

Groaning, Phainon stopped his activities, spinning you around, and with both hands on your ass, lifted you up onto the counter.

With his hands landing on the buttons of your shorts, he paused, slowly glancing at you, silently asking for your permission.

He already has you in this position, and he was still asking for your consent? Slightly smiling at his sweetness, you nodded, letting him take off the garment, and he deposited it on the other side of the sink.

Kneeling on the floor, two of Phainon’s fingers slid between the sides of your lace panties with you lifting yourself, so he could take them off as well.

You didn’t resist when he spread your legs, revealing your most sensitive spot. You had been letting out labored breathing ever since he had put his hands on you, and the sight of him before you—lustful azure eyes staring up at you, looking at you like you were a goddess to be worshipped—had you wondering if it was normal for a woman of your age to be experiencing this kind of problem.

Phainon’s eyes never left yours as he kissed a path along your inner thigh before settling his lips on a spot near your core. A dark bruise bloomed on your skin after he applied suction, tongue smoothing it over as if he was apologizing for the pain.

Hissing due to the hurtful sensation, you teared up while panting, but you couldn’t say you didn’t enjoy how he was into marking you as much as you were into doing the same to him.

If he was the one causing you pain, you would take it with pride.

His mouth slowly moved towards your opening, tongue lightly touching before flattening and running all the way up to your clit.

You lurched at the sudden feeling, but his hands prevented you from moving away, bringing you closer to his face.

While helplessly squirming, more unadulterated sounds left you when his lips replaced his tongue, sucking on your clit and giving it a few licks every so often.

As he devoured you, you prayed no one would be trying to go to the bathroom at this moment because if they did…

Well, you didn’t want to find out.

However, there was something missing. It had been a new discovery—from the first time you both had been intimate. You wanted it very badly.

Struggling to open your eyes, you murmured, “...Phainon…”

He hummed against you, acknowledging the sound of his name, and the vibrations caused a light moan to slip from you.

“Your f-finger…” you stuttered.

Understanding what you wanted, Phainon removed one hand from you, steadily inserting his middle finger inside you, mouth never letting up on your clit as he repeatedly slid his thick finger in and out of you.

But it wasn’t enough.

Biting back a moan, you were on the cusp, needing something more to drive you over the edge.

If one finger isn’t enough… “Ah, Phainon… please… another…”

With Phainon not stopping his ministrations on you, he registered your plea, watching you unravel before him. You could be so greedy, couldn’t you?

And who was he to deny what you wanted?

He would let you take anything from him.

Showing you mercy, his ring finger joined in pleasuring you, stretching you even further, and he continued switching between sucking and licking your clit along with pistoning his two large fingers.

Heat rippled throughout your lower abdomen with every minute that passed, the tight coil threatening to unwind was about to burst—and you were heading towards your release. Throwing your head back against the wall, you rattled them, uncaring whether someone would hear or not—not when Phainon was about to make you come.

Curling his fingers inside you—touching that one spongy spot, and with one last thrust of his fingers had you seeing stars—stilling as your vision blackened.

Huffing to recover, your head lulled to the side, seeing Phainon standing up, seeing your slick drenching the lower half of his face.

He wiped his sleeve over his mouth before slipping his fingers inside his mouth to clean them, an intense fiery gaze set on you.

Placing a hand on each side of you, Phainon leaned down to kiss you, and you could taste yourself on him, but you didn’t mind, loving the intimacy with him.

Parting from you and with his hands directing you, he made you stand, bending you over the laminated surface.

In this position, the mirror reflected you and Phainon, and you could see him looking down at your ass.

Hearing unzipping, your blood pressure spiked, anticipation at its highest before the age old question came to your mind.

“Condom. Do you have a condom?”

Phainon froze. He knew he had been forgetting the most important part, and he didn’t have one because he hadn’t expected to do this with you during a hangout; however, he really didn’t want to stop right now.

Impatiently rubbing his cock between your thighs, coating it in your juices while lightly running his hand over your body under your shirt, he whined, “Can’t we just skip the condom this time?”

“...You’re asking for trouble…” you hesitated, not wanting to stop either but…

It wasn’t a good idea; by all means, it wasn’t. But it did sound very tempting, especially because you were already worked up.

It really wasn’t smart of you to cave into him.

He wasn’t helping with his continuous searing touch…

Ah, fuck it. “We can… but you have to pull out, okay?”

Wasting no time in entering you, he pushed you forward as his cock breached your walls, and you braced yourself against the counter, releasing a moan at the feeling of him.

Slightly laughing at his eagerness, you teased, “You’re such a dog sometimes…”

Now fully sheathed inside you, he eclipsed you, breath fanning against your ear.

A pause before in a low voice, he simply said, “Woof.”

Unable to control the effect it had on you, you shuddered.

What the hell, he actually barked…

Pulling back from your space, Phainon felt you tighten up, a smirk evident on his face. “You liked that?”

Yes, very much. How can he be so cute and sexy at the same time?

“Were you trying to collar me with this choker?”

Maybe.

Phainon quietly chuckled at your silence, but remained still.

He wasn’t moving. Why wasn’t he moving?

Experimentally, you pushed back against him, but he immediately stopped you with his hands on your hips.

“Phainon, please move… I need you…” you cried.

He hadn’t moved because he thought you needed time to adjust to his size, but your needy cries was all the proof he needed to keep going, so he slightly pulled out before burying himself back in, repeating the movements—if kissing you was like heaven, being in you was like high ascension.

He could have both, actually. Lowering himself so his abdomen was parallel with your back, he maneuvered your head so he could capture your lips in a scorching kiss, unyielding in his pounding.

Your neck was starting to hurt, not just from the marks littering your neck but from being in this position for too long. You attempted to pull away, but his hand restricted you, and you couldn’t think because he was stealing your breaths and giving you this much pleasure.

Giving you a break, Phainon broke the kiss, and you dropped your head onto the counter. He slid two fingers in his mouth, wetting them before reaching around, gently resting them on your clit and then rubbing it.

Trembling, the added sensation ignited a flame within you.

And his pace was getting faster and harder.

After a particularly strong thrust of his hips, the flame consumed you, spreading like a wildfire across your being before converging low and exploding with a loud cry of Phainon’s name.

Satisfied with you reaching your peak, Phainon sped up his hips, rhythm becoming uneven, getting closer, and he was about to cum, but then remembered needing to pull out.

Quickly sliding out of your hot heat and licking his palm, he frantically bunched up the back of your shirt, hand hurriedly jerking his cock until he came—spilling his cum onto your bare back.

Feeling the warm liquid splashing against your skin, you secretly savored it.

Were you a freak? Maybe. You love being claimed by him. You love him.

Sighing, you tried to move; however, Phainon didn’t let you.

“Wait, let me clean you up…”

In the mirror, you could see him staring at your back, already knowing what he was fixated on.

“You don’t want me to walk out with it?”

Phainon met your eyes through the reflection, and you giggled at his flustered expression.

“Kidding! I’d like for you to clean up your mess!”

You weren’t actually kidding, but you decided it would be better to not have his cum sliding down your back as you returned to your friends.

Zipping up his pants, he grabbed paper towels, cleaning the white residue off you.

After putting your underwear and shorts back on, you smiled at Phainon, and he returned your gesture with a grin, a slight flush dusting his cheeks.

Right when you were about to open the door, Phainon wrapped his arms around you and said your name. “I only have eyes for you.” Fondly, he admitted, “I love when you mark me up, but you don’t have to worry about anyone else stealing me from you because… I’m yours.”

The beat your heart skipped was noticeable.

Hugging his arms, you declared, “Snowy, you’re mine.”

“And you’re mine, Sunny.”

“I’m yours.”
