Sonic yelped as his snowboard flipped upside-down.
For how lightning-fast he was, he wasn't exactly the brightest, so he didn't think to move in time before the oncoming avalanche fell onto him, trapping him up in the mountain beneath several feet of snow.
"Well, this wasn't how I thought this would go" he muttered the best he could through the snow before curling into a ball and blasting out of the frigid precipitation.
His snowboard was long gone but, well, he had plenty of other stuff to worry about and not enough free time to dwell on it.
So, shaking the last specs of snow out of his quills, he revved back a bit and shot down the mountain once more.
