Calculester hummed to himself as he pulled the meatloaf from the oven, his robotic monotone causing the sound to be almost completely tuneless. The meal looked great–or at least, he thought it did. He couldn’t eat, due to the whole “not being an organic lifeform” thing, but according to his image recognition algorithms, it looked similar to meals he had known his partner to enjoy before.
The emoticon on his screen shifted to a frown. Where was Vicky, anyway? His internal clock told him it was 6:30 sharp, and usually Vicky would be upstairs and out of the laboratory by now. Oh dear, he hoped she hadn’t gotten into some sort of lab accident…again. He shuddered to remember how much trouble it had been to sew all her pieces back together the last time–or he would shudder, if he was capable of such involuntary reactions.
As he began to walk toward the basement door to check on her, he detected movement on the living room floor. Focusing on it, he saw it was Vicky’s right hand, disconnected at the wrist and beckoning toward him. He walked over to it and picked it up carefully, curious as to why it would be separated from her.
Clutched in her pink-polished fingers was a note, which he took from her gently. “Hey sparky,” he read aloud. “This program is giving me a lot of trouble, and I might be a little bit late for dinner. Sorry! But you can have a little fun (;]) with Righty here while I’m busy. XOXO, Vicky.”
Gosh! If Calculester could blush, he was sure he would be doing so furiously. His screen flicked over to the 8==D emoticon without his conscious control as he considered the hand resting on his palm. It crossed its finger and thumb in the shape of a heart before making a grabbing motion towards him.
With a fond sigh, he sat down on the couch and popped open a panel on his crotch. Far be it from him to deny his partner what she wanted…especially if what she wanted was to get him off. Carefully, he set the hand down on top of the now-exposed panel that contained the controls for his “intimate” programming.
Vicky’s fingers traced delicately across the metal between the switches, dials, and buttons, ghosting over the tiny Braille labels as if she didn’t already know exactly what each one did. Calculester sighed softly, fans kicking higher as he began to heat up. She wasn’t even doing anything, but Vicky had insisted when they were installing his sexual functionality that the area protected by the covering between his legs have far more touch sensors than the rest of his body, and every feather-light caress sent another little jolt of pleasurable electricity through his circuits. He squirmed in his seat, thrusting his hips toward Vicky’s hand.
Vicky’s hand seemed to take that as a sign to ramp things up, and took hold of a dial gently, soft clicks filling the air as she cranked it higher and higher. Calculester let a high, electronic whine slip. He was even more sensitive now, and even the lightest brush of her fingertips or nails against his controls made him have to bite back bitcrushed moans.
Embarrassed at how loud he was being, Calculester turned down his volume. Almost immediately, her hand casually turned a dial up and pushed a few switches before returning to stroking over his crotch. He moaned again, even louder, throwing his head back.
Startled by the sound, he tried to turn down his volume internally, but found himself unable. Nor could he move his arms to cover his speakers. In fact, trying to move his legs, fingers, hips, he found himself unable to move any part of himself, save his head.
He groaned as she continued her ministrations. Wow, that was erotic, being totally at Vicky’s mercy, powerless against her. Of course, he had internal overrides he could perform to restore functionality if needed, but the idea of being helpless to do anything as she wrung pleasure from him was way too hot. Almost literally–his CPU was beginning to get borderline dangerously overheated. He let out a pitiful whine, fans whirring desperately.
Vicky’s nimble fingers pushed a button gently, and he let out a mechanical approximation of a wail, trying desperately to buck into her touch, but finding himself unable to move an inch. “Vi-i-cky,” he choked out, voice glitching as she pushed that button again, then another, his pleasure circuits approaching overload. “I-I’m–o-BZZT-oh–”
Abruptly, she pushed her fingers into three buttons at once, hard. Calculester screamed, back arching as control flooded back into his body. Then he abruptly collapsed, screen flashing red error messages. “Orgasm protocol completed,” an automated voice said from his chest. “Initiating cooldown.” Calculester felt several of his background processes going temporarily offline, and relaxed into the couch, feeling sated and sleepy with his significantly reduced charge.
Vicky’s hand scurried back toward the basement on its fingertips, intercepting its owner as she opened the door. She picked it up with her left hand and stuck it in the pocket of her lab coat as she walked toward the couch and sat down next to Calculester, curling up and resting her chin on one metal shoulder. “Mm, you’re so warm,” she said, nuzzling into him.
Calculester’s screen flashed a dopey emoticon smile. “You’re cool. Feels nice.”
Vicky giggled, covering her mouth. “Poor baby, I forgot how dumb you get when you’ve just cummed your processors out.” She pulled his head down to her level and pressed her lips to his screen gently. He vibrated against her, creating a purr-like rumble as he wriggled beneath her touch.
She giggled again. “You’re so cute. How about I plug you in while I eat, and then after dinner, you can return the favor? It’s been too long since you’ve given me a good zap.” Her thumb rubbed absently over one of the bolts in her neck as she spoke, and Calculester followed the motion with his head, expression unchanging as he watched her in a stupor. She grinned, patting the side of his head. “I love you, sparky.”
He smiled. “I love you too, Vicky. Can’t wait to make a baby with you.”
She squealed. “Omigosh, Cal! That reminds me! I totally made a breakthrough while I was giving you that handy! I’ll tell you all about it later, but it’s funny, right? We kind of are making this kid the old-fashioned way…in a way, haha…”
She stood up from the couch, rambling on about the gene-editing and cybernetics technology she was working with as she went into the kitchen to fix herself a plate. Calculester continued smiling at the ceiling, feeling pleasantly dazed and utterly content. Luck, he knew, wasn’t real. Just an unfortunate tendency of organic lifeforms to find patterns in random chance. But listening to the love of his life as she spoke about the child they would soon share, he couldn’t help but feel like the luckiest bot alive.
