Nexus walked tiredly through the forest. He's walked for so long, trying to find some place in this wretched place that he hasn't destroyed. He continued walking and stumbled and fell onto the soft grass but he didn't bother getting up until he heard a voice, not the ones he heard frequently, no… it was Solar. Nexus slowly and shakily got up to see solar there, in front of him. He gasped softly as he got up and stared at him.
He slowly walked over to him and hugged him tightly, tight enough to break him, he huffed softly, the tighter he hugged him the more… different he became. He backed up slightly, still holding onto him, to see a tree. It was a dumb tree that he had nistook for solar. He let go and immediately, he felt fury start to fill him. He destroyed the tree without a single thought. It was just a tree, it had no true purpose.
He stared down at the broken stump that was left before turning to look from side to side like a feral animal that had no sense of remorse or mercy. He saw frightened animals, poor little animals that only saw him as a threat. A something that wasn't to be brought near. He stared at them before realizing, that's all he'll ever be. He froze on that realization, he wasn't Nexus, he wasn't a moon, he wasn't some robot, he was just… something. He had no sense of who he was or what he became, no point in trying to find out anyway.
He sat down on his knees and just continued to stare at the torn apart stump. What was he to do now? He was tired of destroying things, he was tired of walking away, he was tired of just observing but what more was there to do? Nexus just continued to sit there, hoping something would happen. Hoping. That was something to do, he thought.
