Scrambles Redemption

Summary:

First off Wheelie & the Chopper Bunch was a short-lived 1974 NBC cartoon with only 13 cartoons.
Wheelie was a red VW with white stripes who couldn't talk but was a racing and stunt car, and only communicated through honks and symbols on his windshield.
Like a light bulb for an idea or a charge complete with a bugle call and an audience scream that says "Charge!" when angered.
Otherwise, everybody talked on the show except Wheelie, preferring action speaks louder than words.
Rota Ree a yellow car with a pink bow was Wheelie's devoted & loving girlfriend, Wheelie's ride or die loving girlfriend.
Chopper bunch was the main villains but comic villains. A motorcycle gang.

Notes:

This is about Scrambles redemption after Wheelie saved the mini-bike from falling into the ice, after Chopper and the more "adult" members bullied him into trying to find his "courage" or they would leave him out.
Bullying him for being a coward but Scrambles nearly drowned as Wheelie saved Scrambles.
In trying to find his so-called courage and being bullied by the gang as he was the moral conscience over in the group.
After trying to repay Wheelie, only Wheelie wanted him on his windshield to be much more careful.
This was from a comic based on the very short-lived show as there were some comic books.
This is also from the second person in Scrambles POV!
Plus this is an alternative universe where Scrambles cut all ties with the Chopper Gang and tried to pay it forward whenever he got the chance to do so.

Work Text:

Well after nearly drowning as not being able to swim as never learned to swim, and Wheelie had to save me.
Wheelie only wanted me to be more careful as that is all he wanted in return.
Had Wheelie not be there to rescue me, I would had been a goner and my own parents, whom don't know about Chopper, Hi-Riser, and Revs, in the gang I am in.
They bullied me and never really listen to me as I just tag along. More over in a burden than a help.
Don't know why I joined the gang maybe to belong. But even Rota, Wheelie's yellow car devoted and understanding loving girlfriend, even asked me why I have friends like those so called "rowdies" as she calls them.
Maybe I wanted friends but she tells me that Chopper and the other two are not really friends but thugs who love to terrorize people with little to no consideration.
She is sweet but also she is very much right 100%!

After that incident and after I told them that I barely held on but lied over Wheelie helping me as Chopper could had disowned me and kicked me out from his gang.
I knew I needed to change course, as for once all three in the motorcycle gang, and they are as after that life-saving from Wheelie, I decided to cut ties with the gang.
Chopper was livid as Hi-Riser may not be as smart but he was just as mean and Revs, the second in command, told me that they, meaning all three, didn't want me in the first place. Saying I was just hanging around them. Which is partly true but why they needed me in the first place. To use my house! When my parents weren't around.
Just needed to use my house as my parents are pretty well to do but don't flaunt it. As the three sleep around and live in a three room shack around town.
As I had to sleep alone outside as really felt like the odd cycle out!
But now I told him, Hi-Riser, and Revs off, and for the very first time, stood up for myself! "Fine I don't need you three, you are a very bad crowd and didn't need me in the very first place.(In secret, I felt invisible. As really they were never my friends to begin with and really wished I never met them!).
"Well you are on your own Scrambles. Beat it. We never needed you!" yelled Chopper officially kicking me out.
"Yeah scram Rambles, I mean Hambles, I mean Scrambles. Scram!" second Hi-Riser always mixing up his words.
"Yeah who needs you but Wheelie and Rota!" screamed Hi-Riser yelling boo in return.

That day I cut all contact as hard as it will be for me to tell my parents, about that and also hopefully will aligned with Wheelie and Rota Ree.
This is just the beginning over in my new walk to redemption.
Road will be very hard yes! But in the end, it will be well worth it!

First of, he wants to finally give a voice to Wheelie to pay it forward and pay it in return.

Notes:

Scrambles Redemption Begins After Cutting Contact with Chopper and His Gang of Hoodlums!
Chopper the leader who wants Rota all to himself & causes her and boyfriend Wheelie so much trouble only to get the very short end of the stick!
Hi-Riser the tallest but dimwitted one who ruins really Chopper's scams and schemes, before accidentally unveiling the scams and schemes.
Revs the second in command and the one who gets his words mixed up at least three times before getting it right.
Scrambles the mini-bike and kid in the bunch who is slow and small but he is smart and the moral conscience against the other three schemes and scams.
He tells them in his very own catch phrase "I tolja! I toldja! I toldja!"

This is about Scrambles cutting ties and making amends while redeeming himself.
