The Foundational Truth

Summary:

The suicide rates if Quirkless individuals have been spiking more and more, or maybe people are just noticing it, now that there are barely any Quirkless Humans alive.

We are still here though, in the shadows and cracks of the world they know, working tirelessly to keep this world as they know it in relative peace. No matter where you are if the Meta gene has not been found in you, then we will find you and welcome you wit open arms.

Notes:

This first chapter does not follow any characters.
It is mostly a bit if history.

I'm pretty new to the Sco fandom, I'll try to keep things
somewhat accurate.

Chapter Text

The fate of Quirkless people has never been a mystery, due to societal pressure and outside factors most end up taking their lives during their youth. This causes the population of Quirkless individuals to dwindle even faster.

The truth though goes deep and far back, to the time before Quirks, to the place that knew about it way before that infant was born glowing as bright as the sun.

An Organisation that has always operated in secrecy, out of the eyes of the public to keep anomalies, Secure, Contained and Protected.
That was until the worldwide phenomenon of Meta awakening, most early awakenings where Contained as any other Anomaly. Though as the cases grew and became more and more public the Foundation put a stop to the attempt at containing any Meta Human, focusing instead on containing any threats all while keeping Meta Humans away from the foundation.

The fate of most Quirkless individuals is recruitment into the ranks of the SCP-Foundation.

Giving them housing, purpose and a community.

The most common and easy to fabricate cover story just happens to be a self inflicted death. After the Individual is pulled into the ranks they oftentimes never leave again.

Chapter 3: Purposeful Writting

Summary:

Izuku thinks about the Letter he got. Perhaps it isn't all that bad.

Notes:

Sorry that it's been a few days, Im keeping the chapters short because it makes it easier for me to write and keep focused.

Chapter Text

Izuku couldn't describe the emotions running through his mind as he read the cryptic letter over and over again. It felt like both a taunt and a beckoning sirens call, a reminder if what he lacked but also a promise of something to be gained.

It was strange, Izuku hadn't felt hope since Allmight crushed any last but of it that day. This, this was something, a purpose, maybe not one he had asked for but one he needed to keep going.

Besides his Mother who would even miss him? No one cared for the strange Quirkless child.

The SCP-Foundation promise him a new beginning, a new purpose.

He didn't have a choice, but maybe that wasn't that bad. Maybe this was his purpose.
