Work Text:
Buck sat outside on the back patio of the house that he shared with his two boyfriends. He was sitting at the table, a little hand pipe resting on the tabletop with a fresh bowl of ground weed in it. He looked up at the night sky and sighed softly. He couldn't see any stars because of the light pollution of the city. Buck grabbed the pipe and lighter, taking a small hit from the pipe.
Tommy and Sal were both working later than they were supposed to, but they were both okay, according to their group chat. That settled the anxiety that liked to creep in when his boyfriends were caught up in their dangerous jobs while he was at home. Buck took another small hit, eyes closing as he exhaled with another sigh. He missed his Daddy and his Sir.
Buck smoked the rest of the bowl slowly, watching airplanes cross the airspace above the house with lazy interest. He was about to repack the bowl and start again when the back door slid open. Tommy stepped outside, smiling at the sight that greeted him.
Buck was in a fuzzy penguin onesie, long legs stretched out onto another chair.
"Smoking is bad for you," Tommy said quietly so he wouldn't startle his boyfriend. Buck turned his head to grin at the other man.
"I know. Hi, Daddy," Buck greeted happily, moving his legs to free up the seat next to him for Tommy. Tommy dropped a kiss on the top of Buck's head before he took a seat, pulling the younger man's legs onto his lap.
"Hi, baby," Tommy responded fondly, rubbing the fuzzy material of Buck's onesie between his fingers.
"I missed you," Buck murmured, wiggling his toes inside the soft socks he wore.
"I missed you too, sweetheart. I'm sorry that my shift went over. Sal called me and told me that he should be home within the hour."
Buck grinned wide, hips shifting in his seat. "I miss him too."
"I miss him too. Are you done smoking?" Buck nodded. "You want to go inside and take a shower with me? We can make popcorn after and start a movie while we wait for Sal to get home."
Buck nodded again, standing up. "Yes, Daddy."
Tommy stood up too, collecting the supplies that Buck had brought outside for his session. "Head to the bathroom and I'll be right there, sweetheart."
Buck stepped in close to Tommy, kissing him softly. "I love you. I'm glad you're home."
A smile crossed Tommy's slightly tired face. "I'm glad I'm home too."
