Fullset just finishes cleaning up when he hears a knock on the door. The man opens the door to see his childhood friend standing on the other side. "Ahhh, Titch. What a pleasure it is to see you. Please, come in, come in." Fullset ushers Titch into the caravan.
Titch knew that, with Lots out of town, Fullset wouldn't be staying in the brothers' house. He never did like big spaces, preferring to curl up in a cupboard or under the bed. He especially disliked the loneliness of an empty home. That's probably why he likes caravans so much.
"I figured with your brother away, you could use some company," Titch suggests.
Fullset smiles at the man a bit confused. "But I already have a company. Caravan Hutch," Fullset reminds.
Titch shakes his head amused. "I mean I thought we could hang out. Like play cards or something."
"Ahhh yes, I'd love to hang out…" Fullset grins and rubs his hands together as if scheming.
"Alright. Uno or Yahtzee?" Titch asks as he looks through the game shelf.
"Yahtzee. Would you like a smoothie before we begin?" Fullset offers, turning to the countertop.
Titch tries to get the Yahtzee between the Monopoly and the Jenga boxes as he answers. "Do you have strawberry and banana?"
"Coming right up!" Fullset says, pulling out the frozen strawberries and the milk. He slices a banana and makes Titch's smoothie. Fullset decides to make himself a smoothie of fresh rhubarb, spinach, mustard, and water.
Fullset brings the completed smoothies to the table in margarita glasses with curly straws. Fullset sips his apple-blueberry-raspberry smoothie as Titch hums in thanks and takes a sip of his. He immediately spits it out.
"Fullset. why does this smoothie taste like chocolate and pickles?"
Fullset looks mildly confused. "You asked for a strawberry banana smoothie. I made you a snoothie with strawberries and banana."
Titch sighs deeply. "Is this another one of your cursed objects?"
Fullset nods. Titch puts his head in his hands.
"So you knew this would happen?" Titch asks. Fullset nods again. "And you didn't think to warn me?" He's not upsetreally, he's just disappointed.
"You asked for strawberry banana. So I made you a smoothie with strawberries and banana. I didn't realize you didn't know Brian made Wrong Smoothies."
"I'm sorry, Brian? Wrong Smoothies?"
"Yeah. His name is Brian the Blender and the smoothies he makes come out wrong," Fullset explains, like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Okay. So you knew this would happen and you didn't even think to ask any clarifying questions? Or ask why I would want a smoothie that tastes like chocolate and pickles?"
Fullset shrugs. "You're my friend. I didn't want you to feel judged."
Titch kinda feels like an asshole now. "Well firstly, thank you. Secondly, please never do that again. I don't like chocolate pickles." Fullset smiles and Titch continues on. "Do you have the ingredients for a smoothie that tastes like strawberry banana?"
Fullset hums an affirmative. "Can I please have a smoothie that tastes like strawberry banana?"
Fullset stands back up and moves over to Brian with an "okay" and pulls out peanut butter, saltine crackers, and a jug of milk. Titch watches as the very dry ingredients form a thick smoothie. If it can even be called that. Titch adds more milk than he does the other ingredients. At that point, it's just peanut butter milk.
Fullset blends the smoothie and pours it into a new glass, with a new straw. Titch warily takes a small sip. "Oh, that's real nice. Thanks, Fullset."
"I'm glad you like it. Now, Yahtzee?"
"Prepare to lose."
